Abstract

East Kalimantan Province is one of the largest coal producers in Indonesia. Mining activities often have a negative impact on the environment, making it important to manage reclamation effectively. The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the management of reclamation and post-mining at PT XYZ to minimize the negative impacts of mining activities. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants involved were purposively selected to gain an in-depth understanding of reclamation practices. The results show that PT XYZ routinely conducts reclamation and post-mining activities. However, the implementation has not been fully optimized due to various constraints, including the lack of a good reclamation plan, adequate funding and the involvement of all relevant parties. To minimize the negative impacts of mining activities, a strong commitment from the company, community and government is needed to create sustainable and environmentally friendly mining operations. This study provides important insights into reclamation practices and managerial approaches that can be adopted by other companies.

Abstract

This study explores the effect of fiscal sustainability measures on inflation in Nigeria, given the fiscal challenges facing the country. The objective of the study is to analyze how fiscal sustainability measures, such as debt-to-GDP ratio and debt service-to-income ratio, affect inflation. The methodology used includes analysis of annual data from 1980 to 2020 using Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach and impulse response function. The results show that debt-to-GDP ratio and debt service-to-export ratio have a significant negative effect on inflation, while debt service-to-income ratio, debt-to-export ratio, and exchange rate have a significant positive effect. This study also finds that inflation responds negatively to shocks from the debt-to-GDP ratio, debt service to exports, and exchange rate, while responding positively to shocks from the debt service to income ratio and debt service to exports ratio. In conclusion, it is important for the debt management office and the ministry of finance to reduce the debt service-to-income ratio and improve fiscal sustainability policies to stabilize inflation in Nigeria.

Abstract

This research explores the development and implementation of a web-based ERP system at PT Datacomm, in response to the needs of digital transformation in the modern business world. The purpose of this research is to understand how ERP systems can integrate business processes and improve organizational performance. The method used is a qualitative case study, with data collection through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis from 15 respondents, including project team members and senior management. The results showed that ERPNext significantly improved operational efficiency by reducing manual tasks and improving reporting accuracy. The system is also flexible to adapt to workflows and has an intuitive interface that increases user satisfaction. However, there were some challenges in integrating ERPNext with legacy systems as well as the need for ongoing training for users. In conclusion, ERPNext is an appropriate solution to improve operational performance, although continuous improvement in terms of integration and training is required to maximize the system's potential. This research provides practical insights for ERP implementation strategies as well as recommendations for organizations looking to adopt similar initiatives.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce in Indonesia has driven significant changes in consumer behavior. Local marketplaces such as Tokopedia, Shopee, and Bukalapak compete fiercely with global marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and AliExpress. This study aims to: (1) compare consumer behavior in local and global marketplaces, (2) identify the main factors influencing consumer preferences, and (3) analyze the impact of trust variables, security, product variation, and service quality on purchase decisions. The method used is qualitative research with a comparative study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed with Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The results show that trust and transaction security are the most dominant factors in influencing purchase decisions, followed by ease of use and quality of customer service. Local marketplaces are superior in terms of trust and convenience of transactions, while global marketplaces are stronger in product variety. The conclusion of this study is that Indonesian consumer behavior is more determined by trust and security factors, not just product or price variation. The practical implication is that local marketplaces need to expand product variety to be more competitive, while global marketplaces need to adapt payment methods and customer service according to the needs of Indonesian consumers.

Abstract

The sharing economy has become a global phenomenon that is able to change the traditional business paradigm towards a collaboration-based model. In the context of Society 5.0, the sharing economy is not only seen as a technological innovation, but also as a human-centered society development strategy that emphasizes a balance between economic progress and social problem solving. This research aims to: (1) identify potential sharing economy business model innovations, (2) analyze implementation challenges and opportunities, and (3) formulate synergy strategies with Society 5.0. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using Miles & Huberman's interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that innovations such as pay-per-use, peer-to-peer lending, ride sharing, and coworking space dominate the development of the sharing economy. The main challenges in implementation lie in regulations, digital literacy gaps, limited human resources, and low public trust. However, greater opportunities open up through the use of cutting-edge technology, increased digital literacy, and the implementation of adaptive regulations. The implications of this study show that with strategies to strengthen regulations, inclusive digital transformation, and increase technology-based trust, the sharing economy can be the main driving force for inclusive and sustainable economic development within the framework of Society 5.0.
