Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF HEUTAGOGI AND KIRKPATRICK METHODS IN ADVANCED MICROSOFT EXCEL TRAINING TO INCREASE JAKARTA'S YPAC EMPLOYEES COMPETENCE. This community service activity aims to increase the competence of YPAC Jakarta employees by implementing the heutugogi and Kirikpatrick methods to measure success after training. This activity uses a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach to measure evaluation after training. The results of this activity reveal that the heutagogy method in training for employees can be implemented. first, the preparation of a learning contract agreed with the participants, second, the implementation of training oriented to the needs of data processing and case studies to partners, third, providing feedback by providing a forum for informal discussion and fourth, reflection for both tutors and trainees. The results of the evaluation based on the Kirkpatrick method identified that in stage 1 the reaction of the participants to the resource person was good, stage 2 in terms of attitudes, knowledge and skills were in the good category, stage 3 in terms of work behavior showed a significant increase and in stage 4 there was an increase in the performance of the participants after attended training. Training participants are able to improve their performance and can share their knowledge with their colleagues.

Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF MİLKFİSH PROCESSED PRODUCTS TO İMPROVE THE GRESİK COMMUNİTY'S ECONOMY. Gresik is one of the districts in East Java Province, with the majority of its coastal communities producing milkfish. As in Tanggulrejo Village, Manyar District is a potential that must be developed, therefore, Lecturer of Industrial Engineering, Qomaruddin Gresik University conducts Community Service as a form of Tridharma of Higher Education. The theme of service is processed milkfish into ice cendol fish milkfish (CEIBAN) with the aim to improve the economy for the people of Tanggulrejo through mothers of PKK Family Welfare Empowerment. The method of service carried out in the form of a workshop on how to make CEIBAN up to the way of packaging so that it can be sold in the market with a large profit. While the results of the workshop received a good reception from the residents of Tanggulrejo, especially the mothers of the pkk local village.

Abstract

URBAN FARMING FOR THE MILLENIAL GENERATION OF THE YOUTH ORGANİZATİON, DUSUN WALANG SUKOHARJO. Currently, the motivation and interest of the younger generation in agricultural activities is relatively low, from BPS data, 11% of the younger generation are involved in agricultural activities. The purpose of community service activities is to provide an introduction to urban farming that targets the millennial generation, in this case members of the youth organization, so as to increase the motivation and interest of the millennial generation in the agricultural sector through interesting agricultural activities. The method is carried out through several stages of activity, namely Phase I, counseling and delivering material on the concept of urban farming and managing household waste into liquid fertilizer, compost and organic growing media. Phase II, Submission of Verticulture Concept Materials for Anticipating Narrow and Limited Land in Urban Areas. Phase III, Introduction & Practice of Urban Farming Implementation Evaluation of activities using the pretest, posttest and practice assessment methods. The evaluation results show that 93% of partners are involved in this activity and provide an increase in the understanding of the partner community by 85%, where the value of the initial understanding of partner activities towards urban farming cultivation is 54%, then after the activity the value of understanding is 100%.

Abstract

EMPOWERMENT OF POSYANDU CADRES IN STUNTING PREVENTION EFFORT IN TEMBELANG VILLAGE, CANDIMULYO, MAGELANG. Stunting is caused by a lack of nutritional intake received by the fetus or baby in the womb and in the early days of the child's birth. The lack of nutritional intake received by the baby is also caused by the lack of mother's knowledge about nutritional health before and during pregnancy and after the mother gives birth. Therefore, it is necessary to empower cadres so that they can provide education to mothers regarding stunting and its prevention. This activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of cadres about early detection of stunting. The implementation of this activity is carried out in Tembelang Village, Candimulyo District, Magelang Regency in January-February 2022. There are stages carried out, namely the preparation stage including coordination, activity planning; implementation stage, namely socialization, formation of stunting cadres, counseling and training on stunting early detection, lactation management and complementary feeding; evaluation stage on knowledge and skills with post test. The result is an increase in cadre knowledge from an average value of 6.43 to 7.45. The increase in cadre skills from the average pre-test score was 8.35, while the post-test score increased to 8.92. The increase in the ability of cadres can be seen through observations when assisting cadres in early detection of stunting. It is recommended that cadres apply the knowledge gained from the training results. Early detection of stunting will be carried out by increasing the ability of cadres.

Abstract

The problems encountered by partners are as follows: (a) The use of learning materials hasn't adapted to the needs of students; (b) Lack of ability and willingness of teachers in preparing LKPD; (c) Lack of teacher ability in understanding android applications; (d) Demands during the pandemic that demands online learning. Furthermore, The stages of this activity go through three stages, namely preparation, core, and evaluation. The purpose of this research is to offer the following solutions: (a) Preparation of LKPD tailored to the needs of students, the output is a draft LKPD; (b) Provide direction and assistance to teachers to be able to compile their LKPD, the output is LKPD which is ready to be entered into the android application; (c) Provide direction and assistance to teachers to understand android applications, as evidenced by a questionnaire given to determine the level of teacher knowledge of mentoring materials; (d) Develop LKPD based on android applications that can use in everyday mathematics learning, the output is an android application that is given a name by each mentoring participant in this case the Mathematics Subject Teacher contains the LKPD he developed. The result of implementing this activity is the increasing interest of the training participants in making android-based LKPD. So that this activity can solve the problem well.

Abstract

CREATİVE ECONOMY ASSİSTANCE AT MUHAMMADİYAH ORPHANAGE İN MADİUN CİTY THROUGH HANDİCRAFT MAKİNG TRAİNİNG AND DİGİTAL MARKETİNG TRAİNİNG. This community service activity aims to provide training in making handicrafts and digital marketing training for children at the Muhammadiyah orphanage in Madiun City. This community service activity cannot be separated from implementing the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) curriculum implemented by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Realizing the creative economy as the downstream of independent research and humanitarian projects needs to be carried out to realize the Muhammadiyah orphanage's independence in Madiun City. Implementing the training activities is carried out by practice, presentation, and discussion. The number of participants who attended this training was 15 people. The results of this community service show an increase in the skills and knowledge of the trainees on training in making handicrafts and knowledge of digital marketing strategies. This conclusion is evidenced by an increase in the average pre-test score of 26.67 to 66.67 in the post-test score. This training has a positive impact on orphanage children in the form of additional skills in making handicrafts and additional knowledge for participants about good digital business management and motivation to develop business and entrepreneurial spirit. This training is expected to help create strong and independent foster children in the future.

Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF TEMPE PRODUCTION UNIT THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF SOYBEAN SCREW-TYPE MILLING MACHINES. Pondok Pesantren Asy-Syifa’ Muhammadiyah (PPAM), located in Yogyakarta, aims to become an independent and benevolent institution for the community. To realize its noble missions, PPAM initiated the Tempe Production Unit (TPU) as an alternative source of financial incomes and to provide nutritional foods for its students. The TPU at PPAM was established through the application of the screw-type milling machine, which is more efficient, time-saving and hygienic compared to traditional milling methods. The community service program at PPAM was initiated by involving the administrators in an intensive discussion to analyze the required resources and future prospects of TPU. The manufacturing process of milling machine was carried out at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, followed by training of the PPAM members in operating the milling machine. The PPAM members enthusiastically participated and provided valuable inputs for the machine adjustments. Before officially handing the milling machine to PPAM, the machine has been adjusted in accordance with the PPAM members suggestions. Evaluation and monitoring were carried out during the initial production stages, which has been successfully processing 4 kg of soybeans into 20 packs of tempeh per day.

Abstract

CLASSROOM ACTİON RESEARCH IMPLEMENTATİON TRAİNİNG FOR TEACHERS VİA WEBİNAR. PROFESSİONAL TEACHERS ARE the hope for every person who dedicates himself to being an educator at the Kindergarten to High School level. One of the demands in the continuous professional development of teachers is the implementation of scientific publications or innovative works. This community service aims to train teachers on Classroom Action Research and Article Writing in National Journals through webinars. Ninety-four participants participated in the training. Based on the results of the training, it was obtained that the participant's assessment of the quality of the training included: 1) the quality of the audio (voice) was very clear and clear at 93.83%; 2) visual quality (text, images) is very clear and clear by 92.34%; 3) the suitability of the material presented by the resource persons according to the title of the webinar by 94, 89%; 4) the quality of the material delivered by the resource persons is very good and easy to understand by 93.83%; 5) the question and answer session/discussion on the webinar was effective and was able to answer my questions by 90.43%. In addition, the participants wanted the PkM Team to provide further training in the form of 1) assistance in writing scientific articles; 2) development of interactive learning multimedia using Ms Power point; 3) handwriting learning video development; 4) development of LKPD; and, 5) development of TPACK-oriented RPP.

Abstract

ACADEMIC WRITING TRAINING TO IMPROVE MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH TEACHER COMPETENCE. Teachers can benefit from writing scientific articles in various ways, including improving their writing abilities, sharpening their thinking, and broadening their views. Scientific papers that have been presented or published can also help with the credit scores appraisal for teacher promotions. Because the creation of scientific papers plays such a significant role in enhancing teacher professionalism and advancing their functional positions, it is crucial to provide teachers with training and aid in writing scientific papers. This activity aims to provide teachers with knowledge of the rules for writing scientific papers, raise awareness by compiling scientific papers, improve their competence as professional teachers, the quality of their students, and the ability to write scientific papers. This program was attended by 15 teachers from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darussalam in Blitar City. It was implemented in two stages, namely the counseling stage and the training stage. All of the goals established for this activity can be achieved properly, based on the results of direct observation throughout the activities and questionnaires filled out by participants.

Abstract

TRAINING AS A MASTER DISSEMINATION TRAINER OF HIGH ORDER THINKING SKILLS IN MATHEMATICS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL MATHEMATICS IN BOGOR DISTRICT. The training on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for junior high school mathematics teachers in Bogor Regency is based on government policies that include the ability to think at higher levels or HOTS in the National Examination (UN). HOTS itself is part of the PISA international survey. This activity has the aim of whether there is an increase in HOTS training for junior high school mathematics teachers in Bogor Regency after receiving training. This research took place on July 15th to 19th, 2019 at SMP Negeri 2 Cibinong, Bogor Regency. There are two types of participants in this training, namely 5 teachers as master trainers and 23 junior high school mathematics teachers, hereinafter referred to as impact teachers. The five master trainer teachers taught 23 impacted teachers. This training teaches social arithmetic, comparisons, factoring and linear equations, numbers to exponents, and sequences and series. On the sidelines of the learning process, participants were given educational games such as rush hour and logix. Before and after learning, the training participants (23 impacted teachers) were given a test in the form of choices and descriptions. The master trainer is given an assessment by assessing the ability to motivate, mastery of concepts, application of concepts, systematic delivery of concepts, ability to answer questions, ability to provide guidance, and ability to manage classes. The test results show that the significance value obtained is 0.00 < 0.05, which means that there is an increase in the HOTS ability of junior high school mathematics teachers in Bogor Regency after receiving training.
