Abstract

This study aims to describe the creative thinking abilities of students in the semi-complex category when posing mathematical problems, focusing on fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving Madrasah Aliyah students selected based on a creative thinking ability test. Data were collected through problem-posing tasks and semi-structured interviews to explore students’ thought processes in depth. The findings reveal that students are able to generate several mathematical problems with varied structures and contexts, particularly demonstrating fluency and flexibility; however, they remain limited in terms of originality and depth of elaboration. The implications of this study highlight the need for instructional strategies that encourage deeper idea exploration, the use of open-ended stimuli, and reflective guidance to enhance students’ creative thinking quality in mathematical problem posing. Additionally, continuous practice and supportive learning environments that promote collaboration, discussion, and real-world contexts are essential to foster more original ideas and richer elaboration, contributing to meaningful improvement in mathematics learning at the secondary education level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare education financing systems in Finland, Japan, the United States, and Indonesia, with a focus on identifying key characteristics, philosophical differences, and policy implications of each model. The research employs a systematic literature review combined with comparative analysis, using management-oriented indicators including equity, efficiency, governance, and sustainability. Findings indicate that Finland implements a full public funding model emphasizing equity, Japan operates a hybrid model with high transparency, the United States exhibits significant disparities due to property-tax-based decentralization, and Indonesia remains in a transitional phase with challenges in fiscal capacity and governance accountability. The study highlights that successful education financing depends on consistent policy implementation, clear funding distribution formulas, and integrity in governance systems. The results provide actionable policy implications for improving national education financing, including the adoption of needs-based funding formulas, digitalized accountability systems, and diversified funding sources through public–private partnerships. By integrating management and governance dimensions, this study contributes to a better understanding of effective and equitable educational funding practices across diverse contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation and implications of the “One Day Ten Greetings” Movement (GERTUSAM) as a strategy to instill religious character among students. Employing a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach, the study collected data through non-participant observations, semi-structured interviews with school staff, teachers, students, and parents, as well as documentary analysis of program records and materials. Findings reveal that GERTUSAM is systematically implemented through early introduction, consistent repetition, strict supervision, and the transition from mechanistic behavior to voluntary self-awareness. The program effectively fosters students’ religious character across three domains: spiritual, by enhancing mindfulness of God and reinforcing prayer routines; social, by promoting politeness, empathy, and cooperative behavior; and personal, by cultivating honesty, discipline, and responsibility. These outcomes demonstrate that structured habitual practices can facilitate internalization of moral and religious values, supporting ethical development. The study implies that school-based interventions like GERTUSAM provide a replicable model for cultivating disciplined, socially responsible, and spiritually conscious youth, informing educational policy and curriculum design

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of attitudes toward social media eWOM information, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on consumers’ purchase intention for the Hyundai Ioniq electric vehicle in Padang City. The study is motivated by the rapid growth of Indonesia’s electric vehicle market and the increasing role of digital information in shaping consumer behavior, highlighting a need to understand the psychological and social determinants of purchase intention. A causal research design was employed, using a purposive sampling technique to survey 190 respondents through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and social media platforms. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, including validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that subjective norms and perceived behavioral control significantly and positively affect purchase intention, while attitudes toward social media eWOM information do not have a significant impact. Furthermore, the three variables collectively explain 23% of the variance in purchase intention, suggesting that other contextual and economic factors may also contribute. The study contributes theoretically by confirming the applicability of the Theory of Planned Behavior in an emerging EV market and practically by informing marketing strategies and policy interventions. Future research should expand the geographic scope and incorporate additional mediating variables.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high volatility of the stock market on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which is influenced by macroeconomic variables, such as interest rates, inflation, and rupiah exchange rates, especially in the mining sector which is sensitive to global dynamics. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of these variables on the share prices of mining companies that are members of the LQ45 Index for the 2020–2024 period. The method used is a causal quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis based on monthly time series data, accompanied by classical assumption tests to ensure the validity of the model. The results of the study show that partially inflation and the rupiah exchange rate have a significant effect on stock prices, while interest rates do not have a significant effect. However, simultaneously these three variables have a significant effect on stock prices. In conclusion, macroeconomic factors have an important role in determining the movement of stock prices in the mining sector. The contribution of this research lies in the integration of macroeconomic analysis with the perspective of strategic financial management in investment decision-making.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of storytelling in Qur’anic instruction on students' intrinsic learning motivation in primary education. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto correlational design was employed, involving 33 sixth-grade students selected through total sampling. Data were gathered using a validated Likert-scale questionnaire (α = 0.86). Statistical analyses, including descriptive statistics, assumption testing, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression, were conducted using SPSS 26.00. The results show a very strong and statistically significant relationship between storytelling and intrinsic motivation (r = 0.878, p < 0.05), with storytelling accounting for 77.1% of the variance in students' intrinsic motivation (R² = 0.771). These findings suggest that storytelling serves as a powerful pedagogical tool that enhances students' internal engagement in learning. Theoretically, the study supports Self-Determination Theory, demonstrating that narrative-based instruction promotes meaningful engagement, emotional connection, and intrinsic motivation. Practically, the results emphasize the value of incorporating storytelling in Qur'anic instruction to foster engaging, context-driven, and value-oriented learning environments.
