Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Islamic Personal Development Program (Bina Pribadi Islam, BPI) in fostering students’ religious character and social attitudes in integrated Islamic junior high schools. The research addresses concerns over moral degradation among adolescents and the need for effective character education models grounded in Islamic values. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to collect data. Data were analyzed through condensation, display, and conclusion drawing to capture the program’s impact comprehensively. The findings indicate that BPI is implemented systematically through mentoring sessions (halaqah), habitual worship practices, and social activities. This approach effectively enhances students’ religious character, including discipline in worship, honesty, and responsibility, while also promoting social attitudes such as cooperation, tolerance, and empathy. Program effectiveness is influenced by mentor competence, student participation, and parental involvement. Key supporting factors include institutional commitment, a conducive religious environment, and teacher role modeling, whereas barriers involve limited time, lack of family integration, and an overemphasis on ritual over social development. The study concludes that BPI represents a holistic and effective Islamic character education model, yet its sustainability and impact can be strengthened through enhanced implementation, stakeholder collaboration, and integration of social development components.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how sports facilities and infrastructure are managed under budget constraints to support student achievement. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on the strategic management of planning, procurement, utilization, and maintenance processes. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with facility managers and analysis of official student competition records. The findings indicate that management practices emphasize priority-based planning, adaptive maintenance strategies, and optimization of existing facilities rather than expansion. Procurement is conducted through formal e-procurement procedures, while utilization is facilitated by a digital booking system that enhances accessibility. Maintenance is performed selectively due to limited budgets, often requiring a single vendor to manage multiple locations. These results suggest that effective management under fiscal constraints relies on strategic prioritization and resource optimization to sustain student performance. Although budget limitations restrict expansion and comprehensive maintenance, adaptive strategies enable facilities to continue supporting student athletic development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how character values are transformed through Scouting activities in the context of experiential Islamic education. A qualitative case study approach was employed to explore the process, forms, and impact of character development. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving school leaders, Scout mentors, teachers, and students. Data analysis followed the stages of reduction, presentation, and interactive conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Scouting activities effectively foster core character values, including discipline, responsibility, independence, cooperation, leadership, and religiosity. The transformation process occurs in three stages: internalization, habituation, and actualization, facilitated by mentors as role models and a supportive religious environment. Experiential activities allow students to internalize values directly, producing tangible and sustainable behavioral changes. The study concludes that Scouting significantly contributes to the holistic development of students’ character socially and spiritually. These results support the theoretical framework of experiential learning-based character education and provide practical guidance for educational administrators to utilize extracurricular programs as a strategic tool for strengthening character education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital branding strategy of Islamic boarding schools through marketing content on Instagram, specifically in building the institution's image and attracting public interest. The research method used is a qualitative approach with content analysis of posts on the Islamic boarding school's Instagram account, supported by interviews and observations to deepen the data. The results show that the Islamic boarding school's digital branding strategy is carried out through three main patterns: highlighting religious and educational values, using attractive and consistent visuals, and utilizing student testimonials and activities as a form of promotion. Educational and inspirational content has proven more effective in building engagement with the audience. In addition, Instagram plays a significant role as the primary medium in shaping the modern image of Islamic boarding schools without abandoning their traditional values. The implication of this study is the importance of professional social media content management so that Islamic boarding schools can compete in the digital era, while strengthening institutional identity in an increasingly digital-savvy society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of cross-cultural adaptability and financial socialization on financial behavior, with financial literacy as a mediating variable. The research addresses the growing need for financial competence among individuals navigating diverse cultural and financial contexts during international exchange experiences. A quantitative, cross-sectional approach was employed, collecting data through an online questionnaire from Global UGRAD alumni representing multiple countries. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the relationships among variables. Financial literacy was measured as a multidimensional construct encompassing financial knowledge, attitudes, and skills, while financial behavior was operationalized through budgeting, saving, and responsible financial practices. The results indicate that both cross-cultural adaptability and financial socialization have significant positive effects on financial behavior. Financial literacy partially mediates these relationships, highlighting its role as a critical mechanism linking social and cognitive learning processes to financial outcomes. The findings suggest that developing adaptive capacity and promoting socialized financial learning can enhance responsible financial behavior among international students. Practically, these insights emphasize the importance of integrating structured financial education and cross-cultural training into international exchange programs to foster financial resilience, informed decision-making, and long-term well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how students’ character is formed through tauhid learning using Kitab As-Sa’adah. Employing a qualitative approach with a field research design, the study collected data through observations, interviews, and documentation involving teachers, school leaders, and students to gain an in-depth understanding of the learning process and value internalization. The findings indicate that tauhid learning is implemented systematically through structured stages and supported by diverse teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and habituation practices. Internalization of tauhid values occurs through religious activities, teacher role modeling, and integration into daily behavior, fostering students’ religious, disciplined, and responsible character. Key supporting factors include a consistent religious program, an immersive learning environment, and active teacher involvement, whereas challenges arise from students’ difficulty with classical terminology, varied learning abilities, and external influences such as social and media exposure. The study highlights that tauhid-based instruction using Kitab As-Sa’adah effectively enhances both students’ understanding of faith and the holistic development of their character.
