Abstract

The background of this research is the low literacy culture of students, this can be seen from the reading interest of Indonesian children which is still relatively low. According to a UNESCO survey, Indonesian children only read 27 pages a year and the dominant reading time of around 0-2 hours per day is 63%, while reading longer than 6 hours per day is only 2%. The purpose of this study was to find out the application of the storytelling method in increasing children's literacy in Indonesian language subjects. This study used descriptive qualitative research, while data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and observation. The results of this study indicate that literacy has a broad scope, not only talking about reading and writing letters, but the ability to capture information with logical and critical thinking, which is ultimately able to use it effectively to achieve certain goals. One method of increasing literacy in children is the storytelling method. The conclusion of this study is that there is a change in verbal ability, creativity and critical thinking in contributing ideas and imagination in the classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the influence of collaborative learning on students' problem solving skills at SMK Negeri 1 Kendit. The literature review method was used as the main research approach to develop a conceptual framework and gain an in-depth understanding of this topic. Collaborative learning is identified as a learning model that encourages active interaction between students, promotes joint problem solving, and improves social skills. A literature review involves searching related sources in the fields of education, collaborative learning, and students' problem-solving skills. The results of the literature analysis show that collaborative learning can make a positive contribution to the development of students' problem solving skills in vocational schools. Interaction between students, self-empowerment, and joint problem solving through collaborative learning can help students develop skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem solving which are key to success in the work environment. This research provides an important contribution in the context of curriculum development and learning strategies at SMK Negeri 1 Kendit, by identifying collaborative learning principles that can be applied to improve students' problem solving skills. The practical implications of this research involve the formulation of recommendations for teachers and policy makers in the field of education to increase the effectiveness of collaborative learning in the context of vocational high schools.

Abstract

In the era of education that continues to develop, learning models have become the focus of attention for educators. One learning model that has received widespread attention is Project Based Learning (PjBL). The aim of this research is to determine the effect of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model to increase student creativity so that they can solve problems in working on a project. Creativity not only allows students to solve a problem, but also has an impact on their mindset. This research was conducted using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The results obtained from this research are that there is an increase in students' creative thinking abilities before and after implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model during learning.

Abstract

Bullying is an aggressive behavior that threatens and intimidates someone, often driven by an individual's sense of superiority. Research indicates that verbal bullying, especially among teenage girls, is associated with factors such as lack of family attention, social pressure, and exposure to violence through social media. The impact of bullying includes mental health disorders, disruptions in interpersonal relationships, and negative influences on education. Children who are victims of bullying face social challenges, fear of attending school, high absenteeism rates, and academic difficulties. The current era's developments have given rise to cyberbullying, resulting in serious implications for mental and physical health, as well as potential dangers to an individual's safety. Despite experiencing negative effects, some bullying victims still achieve satisfactory academic performance, demonstrating resilience. Solutions involve multi-party interventions, with roles for teachers, counselors, students, and parents. Teachers need to manage interactions in the classroom, counselors provide psychological support, and class discussions create an open environment. Parental involvement is crucial in providing support to students experiencing ostracism. All aim to create an inclusive classroom environment, minimize bullying, and promote positive behavior among young people.

Abstract

An effective learning process in the classroom involves increasing the ability to understand and apply concepts. Learning strategies play a crucial role in realizing this goal, becoming the main focus in efforts to improve the quality of education. The goals of modern education involve developing the ability to understand and apply concepts, producing individuals who are not only skilled in knowledge but also able to apply these skills in everyday life. In addition, the application of knowledge becomes essential, where learning is not only about receiving information but also about the ability to apply knowledge in real contexts. Learning strategies that focus on application help students develop practical skills that can be used in a variety of situations. Analysis of learning strategies is carried out by considering their relevance to the curriculum and support for learning styles. Relevant research results from 12 articles have been analyzed to gain an in-depth understanding of the most effective learning strategies. Based on the results of the analysis, several learning models such as Conceptual Understanding Procedures, Teams Games Tournament, and Blended Learning have been proven to be effective in increasing concept understanding. This research highlights the role of learning strategies in improving the ability to understand and apply concepts at the educational level.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is a person's ability to formulate, use and interpret  mathematics in various contexts of daily life problems efficiently. Literacy skills students not only have numeracy skills but also the ability to think logically and critically in solving problems. Mathematical literacy has a significant positive impact on students' critical thinking abilities. This research aims to describe the influence of mathematical literacy on students' critical thinking abilities in mathematics subjects. The method used in this research is a literature review. The results of this research show a strong relationship between mathematical literacy and critical thinking skills. Mathematical literacy involves understanding, using, and interpreting mathematical concepts in a variety of concepts, while critical thinking skills involve analysis, evaluation, and rational decision making. Mastery of mathematical literacy can improve students' critical thinking abilities, because mathematics involves problem solving and logical reasoning. Thus, developing mathematical literacy can contribute to improving students' critical thinking abilities

Abstract

Moving class learning is a learning system that is carried out by moving classes according to the schedule of subjects that will be followed by students where the teacher is already in the classroom and ready to start learning. This research aims to describe moving class learning with motivation and learning outcomes. The method used in this research is a literature review. Literature Review is a search and research of the literature by reading and reviewing various journals, books and various other published manuscripts related to the research topic to produce an article relating to a particular topic or issue. This research collects data from related articles published in the 2012-2024 period via Google Scholar. A total of 11 articles were selected and analyzed based on the research methods used.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of Canva-based interactive video media in thematic learning on learning outcomes in elementary schools. This research is a literature study using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out by searching via Google Scholar for articles in electronic journals and other publications. The data was analyzed in three stages, namely organizing, synthesizing and identifying. In applying this media, several obstacles were encountered in the classroom, including; Teachers still don't know how to make designs on Canva, the signal is not stable and the infrastructure is limited. However, these obstacles are not an obstacle. The school provides socialization or training and adequate facilities and infrastructure for teachers. There are eight articles that are in accordance with the study theme which states that the application of Canva interactive media has a very significant role in student learning outcomes, especially at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research aims to test whether there is an influence of the use of game-based learning media Quizziz on student learning outcomes in informatics subjects at SMK Negeri 2 Maros. Sampling used a purposive samplingtechnique. The sample taken was class X TJKTB with a total of 34 students. This research uses one independent variable, namely the use of Quizziz learning media (X) and one dependent variable, namely learning outcomes (Y). This research method uses pre-experiment, one group pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this research show that the significance value (Sign.) is 0.001, which means less than 0.05. The use of Quizziz learning media based on game based learning in informatics subjects can influence student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 2 Maros. This can be proven by increasing student learning outcomes through pretest and posttest activities, where students can achieve an average score of 62.20% without treatment and students can achieve a score of 87.64% after treatment. So there was an increase in student scores of 25.44%.

Abstract

Learning media are all means, tools as media used in the teaching and learning process, including graphic design through thecanva application.Graphic design isacommunication processthat usesvisual elementssuchaswriting, shapes,andimagestoconvey messages.Canva is one of the applications that can be used for graphic design. This study aims to describe the use of learning media through the canva application. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study are expected that students are ableto use graphic design learning media through thecanva application.
