Abstract

This research aims to explain the role of guidance and counseling teachers in dealing with school bullying in schools as part of efforts to build child-friendly schools at SMA S Xaverius Bukittinggi. In addition, this study also tries to identify and analyze the challenges faced in this process. The theory used in this research is the role theory proposed by Biddle and Thomas. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach, specifically using descriptive qualitative methodology. The data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings of this study highlighted the important role of teachers in overcoming the problem of school bullying in schools at SMA S Xaverius Bukittinggi. This includes formulating effective policies to address school bullying in schools, identifying the main causes of such behavior, implementing appropriate disciplinary measures, forming study groups, delivering persuasive messages to both the perpetrator and other students, providing counseling and guidance services, offering incentives or rewards, implementing programs that promote the prevention of school bullying in schools, conducting regular supervision and monitoring, and fostering a nurturing and supportive environment conducive to students' well-being. Challenges faced include managing student behavior outside the school environment.

Abstract

Bullying that often occurs among the community, one of which is adolescents, raises very deep concerns that have an impact on one's behavior. This is inseparable from the role of emotions contained in the bullying perpetrator. Behavior is also included in the important role of the impact of bullying situations. Therefore, one needs to understand an intelligence in managing emotions. This research uses the literature method in obtaining data. Data were obtained through official websites, journals, and books as a complement to this research. The purpose of this study confirms that the importance of the role of emotions in oneself that need to be considered and formed from the beginning of growth so that it can reduce the impact of the influence of how a person behaves and responds to a problem.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase the level of activity and learning outcomes of students through implementing the make a match learning model. The research method applied is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with the research subject focusing on class V students. Data collection is carried out through tests, observations, and activeness assessment rubrics. Data analysis was carried out descriptively in both quantitative and qualitative aspects. The research results showed a significant increase in student learning activity. In the pre-cycle stage, there were 24 students (64.87%) who were identified as inactive. However, in cycle I, this figure decreased to 9 students (24.32%) who had reached a sufficient level of activeness. In cycle II, student activity increased significantly, reaching 31 students (83.78%) who were classified as active. Meanwhile, for learning outcomes, in the pre-cycle there were 15 students (41%) who achieved completeness. In cycle I, the number of students who completed increased to 20 students (54%), and in cycle II it reached 30 students (81%). Therefore, it can be concluded that through the application of the make a match learning model, there has been a real increase in the activity and learning outcomes of students in this class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of comic media on the learning outcomes of Class V students of MIS Juhari Ilmi. The research approach used is quantitative. The type of quasi-experimental research with post test type, non-equivalent control group design with the number of students in this study were 40 students The data collection technique used was a test. The results of this study were to determine the effect of using thematic comic media on the learning outcomes of grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of poster media on student learning outcomes in thematic learning theme 2 subtheme 2 Class IV of 102010 Liberia State Elementary School. This study used an experimental method with a True Experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design type conducted at IV State Elementary School 102010 Liberia in class IV students with a population of 44 students and a sample of 22 students. The research data collection technique used a 2-time test, namely pretest-posttest. Data analysis techniques used in this study are Descriptive Statistical Analysis and Inferential Statistical Analysis. Testing the research hypothesis using the t-test pretest-posttest control group design, and to see the effectiveness of the influence of poster media is done using the Normality Test. The final results of the study showed that there was an effect of poster media on the learning outcomes of grade IV students, with the results of hypothesis test analysis showing t-count (9.550) while the t-table value (1.721), because t-count> t-table, it is proven that there is an effect of poster media on the learning outcomes of grade IV students.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of interactive audio-visual media with a CTL approach to student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in grade VI SD with the research methodology used is quasi-experimental research, the sample in this study is grade VI students of SD Kartini Medan. Data collection techniques using tests. Hypothesis testing in this study is to use the t-test formula. The results of the study based on the calculation of the t-test on the posttest obtained tcount (2.7689) > ttable (1.9977) which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a positive effect of interactive audio visual media using the CTL approach on student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class VI SD Kartini Medan.

Abstract

This research aims to produce products in the form of LKPD (Student Worksheets) Based on a Scientific Approach on Theme 3 Objects Around Me grade III SD Nurhasanah Garu 1 No.28 Kec. Medan Sandpaper and Knowing the feasibility level of developing LKPD Based on a Scientific Approach on Theme 3 Objects Around Me Class III SD Swasta Nurhasanah Garu 1 No.28 Kec. Medan Amplas. The type of research used is a type of research and development or Research and Development (R & D), this research and development method is a research method used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. Based on the results of research and development that has been carried out by researchers, it can be concluded that research and development uses stages with the ADDIE model , but researchers only reach the stage The development has produced products in the form of LKPD Media in thematic learning in elementary schools with the theme Objects Around Me. Based on the feasibility of the media from the input of experts, namely lecturers and teachers, media experts, namely lecturers. From the validation data from material experts (lecturers) reached 94%, learning experts (teachers) reached 95%. If the percentage obtained reaches 81% to 100%, then LKPD media is categorized as very feasible. From the calculation above , the percentage of 94% and 95% is obtained, so LKPD media is categorized as very feasible. Media experts reach 81%, so LKPD media is categorized as very good / very feasible. So the development of LKPD theme 3 objects around me grade III elementary school developed by researchers is stated to be very feasible to be used as a medium in the learning process.

Abstract

Language acts as a tool of social integration as well as a tool of social adaptation. Sundanese is one of the regional languages in Indonesia. However, the use of Sundanese must be adjusted to the place and the person speaking. But in reality, there are still many students and lecturers who speak Sundanese when the learning process in the classroom takes place. Practically, this research is expected to build awareness in communicating between people to always use Indonesian in their daily lives so that everyone can understand both when interacting with peers or lecturers. The researcher used a qualitative approach with in-depth interviewing method. Interviews were conducted with open-ended questions addressed to students of the University of Education Indonesia Geography Education Study Program Batch 2023 who came from outside Sundanese areas. The results of this study are that students who come from outside Sundanese areas have difficulty in understanding the material when there are sentence inserts or Sundanese vocabulary in its delivery. This can be overcome by asking friends who understand Sundanese, following the flow of learning so that gradually they will get used to and understand Sundanese. They do this to be able to understand every material delivered by the lecturer when inserting words in Sundanese.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant differences in learning outcomes between students who follow the SQ3R learning method and students who follow conventional learning. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is a random sampling technique. The research sample was 72 students. The method for collecting data on reading skills uses multiple choice tests. The data obtained were analyzed using parametric statistical techniques, namely the t-test. The results of data analysis show that there are significant differences in reading skills between students who study using the SQ3R learning method and students who study using conventional learning in class IV of SD Negeri 102083 Pabatu. Learning innovation using the SQ3R learning method can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects.
