Abstract

Tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan lahan permukiman di pusat Kota Semarang mendorong pembangungan perumahan di Kawasan Sub Urban Kota Semarang yang merupakan faktor utama terjadinya alih fungsi lahan dari non terbangun menjadi terbangun. Mengetahui potensi kerawanan banjir di daerah sub urban kota semarang diperlukan untuk upaya mitigasi bencana banjir akibat perubahan alih fungsi lahan tersebut. Data curah hujan, kemiringan lahan dan ketinggian lahan, jenis tanah dan penggunaan lahan serta kerapatan sungai digunakan sebagai parameter kerawanan potensi banjir. Setiap parameter dilakukan proses scoring dengan pemberian bobot dan nilai kemudian dilakukan overlay menggunakan software ArcGIS. Kemudian dilakukan survai lapangan untuk melihat validasi lapangan pada daerah rawan banjir. Hasil penelitian didapatkan total wilayah rawan banjir adalah 21.196, 79 Ha atau sekitar 21,02 persen dari keseluruhan luas Kabupaten Kendal. Dua Kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Kaliwungu dan Kecamatan Brangsong merupakan Kawasan Sub Urban Kota Semarang yang paling banyak luasan daerah rawan bencana banjir.

Abstract

Urban areas are usually limited by territorial restrictions so the available space is very limited. The limited space of the area is crowded with various community activities that are reflected in the allocation and use of land. With the divided territory into various land allocations, to do different activities requires movement between regions. The existence of online application-based transportation also plays a role in changing the form of people's travel behavior in Yogyakarta which of course increases in line with the ease of transportation offered. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the movement of online application-based transportation users based on the purpose of travel conducted by students and the samples taken are students of the campus of Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST), Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta (UGM) and Muhammadiyah University yogyakarta (UMY) where these three campuses were chosen because they are considered able to represent the entirety of the total students in the Yogyakarta Urban Area. The analysis used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, chi square analysis and fisher's exact test and also and one-way anova analysis. The results of the analysis showed a relationship between the location of residence and the purpose of travel and mileage and costs that were disbursed and there were differences for the purpose of travel conducted by students based on the location of residence.Keywords: Online Transportation, Travel Behavior, Student Grab Users

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe high rate of population growth causes slums in an area, especially in the Musi riverbank, Palembang City. This is marked by the development of community activities, such as economic and industrial sectors in the area. On the other hand, the population growth is relatively rapid and uncontrollable which causes of the settlement areas to become very dense and irregular which can disrupt the function of rivers and river ecosystems. This study aims to formulate a sustainable spatial planning concept on Musi Riverbank in 5 Ulu and 7 Ulu Villages, Seberang Ulu District, Palembang City. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a spatial approach. Data is collected by means of observation, interviews, and document review, then analyzed rby means of qualitative data analysis, spatial analysis, Spradley model analysis, and triangulation analysis. The results of the study show that the analysis of the suitability of riverbank areas in 5 Ulu and 7 Ulu Villages with existing conditions based on economic, socio-cultural and physical aspects. Meanwhile, the concept of sustainable spatial planning in the area is by developing a mixed-used waterfront / riverside arrangement concept with the direction of industrial village development, fulfillment of public space facilities, as well as protected areas and cultivation areas.Keywords: spatial planning, sustainable space, riverbank. ABSTRAKTingginya angka pertumbuhan penduduk menyebabkan terjadinya kekumuhan pada suatu wilayah, khususnya di kawasan tepian sungai Musi Kota Palembang. Hal ini ditandai dengan perkembangan aktivitas masyarakat terutama pada sektor perekonomian dan perindustrian di kawasan tersebut. Di sisi lainnya, pertumbuhan penduduk yang relatif pesat dan tak terkendali yang menyebabkan kawasan permukiman menjadi sangat padat dan tidak beraturan yang dapat mengganggu fungsi sungai dan ekosistem sungai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan konsep penataan ruang berkelanjutan pada kawasan tepian Sungai Musi di Kelurahan 5 Ulu dan 7 Ulu, Kecamatan Seberang Ulu, Kota Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif dengan pendekatan keruangan. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan penelitian dokumen, lalu dianalisis dengan cara analisis data kualitatif, analisis spasial, analisis model Spradley, dan analisis triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis kesesuaian kawasan tepian sungai di Kelurahan 5 Ulu dan 7 Ulu dengan kondisi eksisting berdasarkan aspek ekonomi, sosial-budaya, dan fisik. Sementara itu, konsep penataan ruang berkelanjutan pada kawasan dengan mengembangkan konsep penataan mix-used waterfront / riverside dengan arah pengembangan kampung industri, pemenuhan sarana ruang publik, serta kawasan perlindungan dan kawasan budidaya.Kata kunci: penataan ruang, ruang berkelanjutan, kawasan tepian sungai.

Abstract

Waterbirds are birds that live around the coast that use migration sites to carry out life activities. This research was conducted in 2022, aiming to determine the condition of waterbird habitat, mapping waterbird habitat, and the relationship between the results of satellite imagery analysis and the presence of waterbirds in the mangrove forest of Pulau Dua Nature Reserve. The research method used is the point count or index point of abundance (IPA) method to determine the habitat conditions of waterbirds and remote sensing methods using Google Earth Engine (GEE) satellite imagery. The results of the study showed that waterbirds are mostly active in wetland areas. The mapping results from the MNDWI (Modified Normalized Difference Water Index) analysis obtained negative results because the detected land is not a body of water and the surrounding area is overgrown with vegetation, it can be said that the results are negative due to air mixing with other objects. Mapping results from MSAVI (Modified Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index) analysis were obtained with a range of 0.3-0.4 which indicates moderate vegetation conditions. The correlation result of the water presence (MNDWI) with the presence of waterbirds have a value of r = 0.944 belong to the category of very strong relationship and the correlation result of the land presence (MSAVI) to the presence of waterbirds have a value of r = 0.537 belong to the category of strong relationship too. The results of this study can be implemented in education in the form of material analysis using KD. 3.10 and KD. 4.10 class X high school. Keywords: Google Earth Engine, Pulau Dua Nature Reserve, and Waterbird Habitat

Abstract

Bandung City  is one of the cities in Indonesia where the percentage of the growth of the elderly community is quite high, so it is necessary to provide special recreational and sports facilities for the elderly community. The park was chosen as a place of recreation because it is considered to be able to refresh physically and psychologically. Many elderly people experience difficulties and feel uncomfortable when doing activities in the park because there is no special development of parks for the elderly from the government. This study aims to analyze the use of green open space from the recreational function and its needs based on the perception of the elderly. The method used is descriptive quantitative based on data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires and field observations using accidental sampling of visitors. Based on the results of the study, the characteristics of visitors were dominated by men with an age range of 60-64 years and still living with a partner and still earning. The existing condition of the park is in quite good condition. The majority of elderly activities in the park are leisurely walks, while the most comfortable recreational activity to do is relax. The needs of the elderly for parks are dominant in physical needs such as more for park public facilities. There are 3 (three) factors that shape the motivation to visit the elderly at Taman Lansia. Factor 1 consists of location security, convenience of street vendors, and convenience of trash cans. Factor 2 is location accessibility and signage convenience. While factor 3 includes route accessibility, crowd safety, pedestrian path comfort, and toilet comfort.Keywords: perception, recreation, green open space, Taman Lansia

Abstract

                                                                          ABSTRACTUrban form and walking choice have complex relationships. Initial research has shown some drawbacks, uncertainties, and no inclusive results regarding the impact of urban form on walking choice since previous studies disregard walking purposes (utilitarian, transit, and non-utilitarian). The quantitative approach uses a statistical analysis and scoring index from the International Physical Activity and Environmental Project, while the qualitative approach applies a descriptive-analytic to describe travel behaviour and preference. The aims of this research are (1) to measure the walkability index with the urban forms approach, (2) to analyze the travel preference, travel behaviour for walking choice, (3) to see the effect of urban form on walking choice. The results showed that only two areas are walkable (Grid 2 with WAI 4,58 and Grid 5 with WAI 0,87). Meanwhile, the rest of the grids remained negative and had very low walkability indicators. Regarding walking preference, 63.40% of respondents contributed to non-active walking choice, whereas only 36.6% accounted for walking as their basic transportation mode. Interestingly, nearly 50% of walking preferences are done for non-utilitarian purposes since walking is still needed to keep their bodies healthy. Besides, the urban form variables have differently impacted on walking choice purposes. Firstly, walking for utilitarian purposes has been affected by entropy (P>{z} 0.049), floor area ratio (P>{z} 0.039), and household density (P>{z} 0.038). Therefore, walking for transit purposes has been influenced by connectivity (P>{z} 0.039), whereas walking for non-utilitarian purposes has been affected by household density (P>{z} 0.031).Keyword : surban form, utilitarian, transit, non-utilitarian, walkability ABSTRAKBentuk kota dan pemilihan moda berjalan kaki memiliki hubungan yang kompleks. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan kelemahan, ketidakpastian, dan tidak adanya hasil yang jelas terkait bagaimana pengaruh bentuk kota terhadap pemilihan moda berjalan kaki. Hal ini disebabkan karena tidak mempertimbangkan jenis-jenis pelaku pejalan kaki (utilitarian, transit, non-utilitarin). Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda kombinasi, yaitu metoda kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis dan rumus indeks berjalan kaki dari IPEN Project dan analisis skoring untuk melihat klasifikasi tingkat berjalan kaki. Kemudian, metoda kualitatif menggunakan teknik analysis statistic deskriptif dengan distribusi frekuensi terkait perilaku perjalanan dan pemilihan moda transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengukur indeks berjalan kaki dengan pendekatan bentuk kota, (2) menganalisis pemilihan perilaku perjalanan, (3) menganalisis pengaruh bentuk kota terhadap pemilihan moda berjalan kaki. Hasil analisis terlihat bahwa hanya 2 area saja yang termasuk ramah bagi pejalan kaki (Grid 2 dengan WAI 4,58 dan Grid 5 dengan WAI 0,87). Kemudian, hanya 36.6% responden yang menjawab berjalan kaki sebagai moda transportasi utama, sementara sisanya menggunakan kendaraan. Menariknya, 50% responden berjalan kaki untuk tujuan olahraga dan rekreasi (non-utilitarian) dengan alasan menjaga tubuh agar tetap sehat. Variabel bentuk kota yang mempengaruhi pejalan utilitarian adalah entropi (P>{z} 0.049),, lantai bangunan (P>{z} 0.039),  dan kepadatan permukiman (P>{z} 0.038). Pejalan kaki transit hanya dipengaruhi oleh konektivitas (P>{z} 0.039) dan pejalan kaki non-utilitarian hanya dipengaruhi oleh kepadatan permukiman (P>{z} 0.031).Kata kunci : Bentuk kota, pejalan kaki utilitarian, transit, non-utilitarian, walkability
