Abstract

Kemah Peduli Sahabat Kasih is a shelter for ODGJ (people with mental disorders) managed by one family. This shelter is located at Jl. Kp. Cicayur Kebun Manggu No.21, RW.1, Cisauk, Tangerang, Banten. In its operational activities, this shelter does not yet have adequate lighting. One of the facilities, precisely on the access road to the shelter, is inadequate. In addition, the lighting facilities in the front and back yards are also inadequate. Therefore, the purpose of creating lighting facilities on the access road to the shelter is to make it easier to get to the shelter, especially to provide lighting around the shelter so that nighttime operational activities are not hampered. The existence of lighting facilities on the access road to the shelter and lighting in the front and back yards is one of the important things to ensure security and safety in supporting nighttime operational activities safely and comfortably. The community service activity of utilizing solar energy in public street lighting as a replacement for conventional energy in Cisauk has gone well. This is supported by the results of the trial of the lights being able to be turned on and off, and the results of the interview gave a good activity score.

Abstract

In this digital era, almost every aspect of human life relies on technology, including education, business, government, and daily life. One example of technology widely used in various fields is QR-code technology. Unfortunately, this comfort cannot be felt in other regions of Indonesia. The lack of information impacts the slow learning development in areas commonly referred to as 3T regions, (Tertinggal, Terdepan, Terluar). Therefore, it is necessary to address this condition. Children in the 3T region have the right to equality in learning and accessing knowledge. Thus, the author takes the initiative to develop learning media that trains the fine motor skills of elementary school students in Gairipim, Papua, by their age. The method used in this community service activity is a qualitative descriptive method. The provision of engaging and interactive learning media is expected to spark curiosity and a desire to continue learning. This activity considers the limited internet access in remote areas, so the applications installed on the devices do not require internet connectivity. Therefore, users can achieve their goals even with minimal internet access. In this way, students at SD Negeri Gairipim can gain equal access to learning and enjoy modern learning media.

Abstract

The existence of layer poultry farmer groups faces challenges in the era of global climate change. The rise in environmental temperatures significantly impacts agricultural and livestock activities. On the other hand, livestock farming generates a considerable amount of organic waste, which poses environmental concerns. The goal of the integrated farming system based on chickens, maggots, fish, and vegetables (AMIS) is to encourage resilient farmers to face global climate change, achieve zero waste agriculture and livestock farming, and establish a circular economy. The methods applied in the implementation of this program is socialization, training, and system application assistance. Participants from the Sumber Unggas Jaya Livestock Farmers Group were very enthusiastic about participating in every activity. This was demonstrated by their active involvement in each event and discussion. The participants also expressed interest in applying the AMIS system to their existing farming operations. This system can reduce organic waste pollution through the zero waste concept, increase income through the circular economy concept, and make agricultural and livestock activities resilient to global climate change by forming a sustainable plant and livestock maintenance ecosystem.

Abstract

With the growing digital transformation, ensuring cybersecurity has become crucial, especially concerning personal data protection. This event, titled "Jangan Asal Sebar Data Pribadi," aimed to raise awareness about the legal framework and best practices for safeguarding personal data in Indonesia. The discussion, held on March 1, 2023, covered key regulations such as the Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022), which sets strict penalties for unauthorized dissemination of personal information. The session also introduced the "8 Digital Safety Indicators," which include managing privacy on social media, reporting misuse, disabling geographic tracking, and adopting strong password practices. These steps, along with utilizing antivirus software and twofactor authentication, are essential in protecting individuals from phishing, malware, and data theft. The event concluded with actionable solutions to mitigate common cyber threats like fake APK files sent through messaging apps. This seminar underscored the importance of digital literacy and vigilance in maintaining cybersecurity and emphasized the need for individuals and organizations to implement robust data protection strategies. The discussion highlighted the growing importance of safeguarding personal data to prevent security breaches and protect privacy.

Abstract

Using technology in quantitative research is increasingly important to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data collection. This community service activity aims to socialize the use of questionnaire applications based on the Data Weigher Analysis (DWA) and Likert methods that can be used in quantitative survey research. Socialization is carried out to researchers, academics, and students involved in survey-based research to facilitate understanding and skills in designing, distributing, and analyzing questionnaires digitally. Through this activity, participants are given direct training on using the application, the advantages of the DWAand Likert methods in measuring quantity values into quality, and efficient and accurate data processing. The evaluation results showed that participants had increased understanding and skills in utilizing the questionnaire application, which is expected to support more effective quantitative research in the future. Thus, this activity contributes to increasing researchers' capacity to conduct modern and technologybased quantitative surveys.

Abstract

Papie-Sue is a diversification of agricultural and livestock products. Papie-Sue means banana pie with etawa milk. The main raw material for pie crust comes from banana flour, and the raw material for vla comes from etawa goat's milk. In addition, there are variations in flavors from local fruits, namely starfruit and durian. All raw materials and variations in flavors are local products of Bojonegoro. Because this product is processed from fresh ingredients without preservatives, a method is needed to maintain product quality until it reaches consumers. To improve the quality of Papie-Sue, GMP, SSOP, and HACCP are implemented through training and mentoring for the production team. The implementation of a food safety system based on GMP, SSOP, and HACCP can improve product quality by avoiding food contamination both biologically, chemically, and physically. Potential contamination will be identified to carry out prevention processes during the production process. Training participants consist of a production team of 15 people. The implementation of this food safety system is expected to be one way in the process of increasing the scale of the Papie-Sue business at SMKN Ngambon.

Abstract

The Electrical Engineering study program of the Faculty of Engineering, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia has been collaborating with Harapan Bagi Bangsa Christian Middle School, Cilincing, North Jakarta for several years in an extracurricular program for junior high school students, as a form of community service from Electrical Engineering lecturers. The extracurricular activity program implemented is in the form of basic electronics training. The theme of the activity varies, according to the requests and needs of the partner schools. The first activity is to provide basic electronics skills training to students. This program received a very positive response from teachers and students. From the evaluation results of previous activities, all students wanted training activities with advanced materials. The training provided is an introduction to basic Arduino Uno microcontrollers using Tinkercad simulation software. The purpose of this activity is to conduct training on the introduction and how to program the Arduino Uno microcontroller to turn on Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs). The training was carried out at Harapan Bagi Bangsa Christian Middle School. The training began by assembling the resistor and LED components on the project board. After all the components were installed, an Arduino Uno microcontroller program was created to turn on the LEDs alternately according to the order of the program created. The training used Tinkercad simulation software and the Arduino Uno microcontroller board. From the results of the student evaluation, 92.2% of students gave good and excellent ratings, while 7.8% gave neutral ratings for this training.
