Abstract

The online livestock showroom development program aims to cut the long livestock distribution chain and create a more objective pricing system, especially for farmers in Blora Regency. The main partners of this activity are local farmers who are members of the Farmer Groups and Blora Livestock Community. The implementation method of the program involves training, mentoring, and collaboration with the government and the farming community. The results show that the showroomternak.id platform successfully improved marketing efficiency, expanded market access, and provided a more transparent pricing system based on morphometric data. As many as 87% of farmers responded positively to this application, and most were satisfied with the ease and fairness in pricing. However, we must still to address challenges like limited internet access and low technological skills. The recommendations from this program are the expansion of training, the improvement of digital infrastructure, and ongoing support for farmers to maximize their use of technology in the long term.

Abstract

Cibitung Hamlet, Ponggang Village is one of four partner villages of the Industrial Engineering Study Program of Atma Jaya University (UAJ) in community service activities. Continuing economic development for Ponggang Village, the community service team saw an opportunity in Cibitung Hamlet to plant water spinach as a selling product and increase vegetable consumption for the Ponggang Village community. To support the planting of water spinach, fertile soil, sunlight, and water are needed. Fertilization is really necessary to increase or maintain plant fertility by adding artificial or natural nutrients. The Community Service Team conducted a preliminary study on the effect of organic fertilizers, inorganic fertilizers, fertilizers from biogas dregs (bioslurry), and no fertilizers, using the soil in Cibitung Hamlet on the growth of water spinach. Based on the results of the study, fertilizers using biogas dregs provided heavy metal content values below the limit and also provided a fairly good level of water spinach growth compared to the treatment of organic fertilizers, inorganic fertilizers, and no fertilizers. The results of his study were socialised to the community of Cibitung Hamlet, Ponggang Village in the form of community service

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower the community by processing healthy Indonesian food, especially tempeh. Tempeh, a traditional food rich in health benefits, has enormous potential to improve the community's economic welfare. This activity at Unika Atma Jaya Campus 3 in BSD involved the Faculty of Technobiology, Tempe Research & Development Centre, and the Kampung Tempe Ciomas Tourism Village group. Activities include 'the Tempe Processed Creation Competition' and workshops on 'Hygienic Tempe Production' and 'Making Tempe Skincare and Body Scrub.' The competition aimed to increase participants' creativity in processing tempeh into various innovative dishes. Meanwhile, the workshop provided participants with practical knowledge on how to process healthy and hygienic tempeh. As a result of this activity, 25 groups participated in the competition, and 54 participants attended the workshop. The results of this activity are an increase in public understanding of the benefits of tempeh and an increase in consumption and sales of tempeh products in the community. Thus, this program not only contributes to public health but also to the improvement of the local economy through the development of innovative tempeh products.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) along Jalan Kubang Raya encounter substantial challenges in implementing ergonomic principles and managing workplace environmental conditions. Preliminary observations conducted on 20 MSMEs revealed that 85% of workers engaged in non-ergonomic postures 65% consistently worked in a stooped position, while 45% utilized work tables with suboptimal heights (50-60 cm). Moreover, 90% of workers were directly exposed to ambient air pollution and road traffic noise. This community engagement program was developed to enhance ergonomic awareness and improve workplace environmental conditions through four stages of intervention: (1) observation using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method, (2) interactive awareness sessions, (3) hands-on training in simple work tool modifications, and (4) periodic evaluation. The program outcomes demonstrated a significant increase in ergonomic comprehension (from 25% to 82% as measured by pre- and post-tests), a 45% reduction in musculoskeletal pain complaints, and the adoption of safe work practices by 78% of participants. Notably, 65% of the MSMEs independently constructed dust protection devices, contributing to a reduction in pollution exposure by up to 30%. These findings underscore the effectiveness of participatory approaches in promoting occupational health and enhancing productivity in MSMEs operating in high-risk environmental areas. For sustainability, it is recommended to establish local ergonomic cadres and integrate training modules into the programs of the regional Department of Manpower.

Abstract

Object locatization is one of important aspect of computer vision, which refers to a system's ability to detect and determine the position of objects within an image. However, general audience practical understanding of object localization is remains limited. To address this issue as a community service team, and organized a workshop focused on YOLO (You Only Look Once)-based object localization. This workshop was conducted free of charge online via the Google Colab platform. The event was successfully carried out and received positive feedback from the participants. This workshop are providing a real studycase through brain tumor detection from image-based approaches, aiming to provide an in-depth experience in object localization while also offering the latest updates on artificial intellegent technology trends based on digital image processing. Based on evaluation results indicated that the majority of participants, who previously had no experience in object detection, were able to understand the fundamental concepts of object localization and apply them directly using the cloud platform. This workshop demonstrates that cloud-based learning approaches utilizing Google Colab and Roboflow are highly effective in bridging the gap between theory and practice in object localization.

Abstract

Schools must provide a healthy, clean, and comfortable environment to support students' learning processes. However, vocational schools often face issues such as poor sitting posture, inadequate ventilation, and low sanitation standards. This Community Service Program aimed to educate students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru on the importance of ergonomics and environmental sanitation to help create a healthy and comfortable school environment. The program was implemented in four stages: (1) socialization and education on proper sitting posture, lighting, ventilation, toilet hygiene, and waste separation; (2) student training on how to conduct simple ergonomic and sanitation audits in classrooms; (3) direct observation and group discussions to develop improvement recommendations; and (4) creation and installation of educational posters in strategic school areas. The results showed a 34% increase in students’ knowledge based on pre-test and post-test assessments, along with increased student awareness and initiative in maintaining their learning environment. This program demonstrated that participatory education in ergonomics and environmental sanitation can significantly enhance student awareness and engagement in creating a healthy school setting. It is expected to be the foundation for fostering a sustainable culture of health and comfort within the school.
