Abstract

Indonesia is a country with great potential as a producer of spices and seasonings. Among Indonesian native spices, namely Turmeric (Curcuma domestica) has antimicrobial activity. Plants have various ingredients that are beneficial to humans, both for health and industrial purposes. The Age of Apostles introduced the healing methods of classical, reliable medicine using plants. In the Al-Quran many kinds of plants are mentioned, including plants that can be eaten and used in medicine, one of which is the traditional medicinal plant, namely turmeric. The use of turmeric can also be used as a coloring agent in food. Turmeric has properties as herbal medicine and traditional medicine. Compounds contained in turmeric (curcumin and essential oils) have a role as antioxidants, antitumor, anticancer, antimicrobial, antitoxic. Traditionally turmeric is used by people in various countries to treat diseases such as diseases caused by parasitic microbes, insect bites, smallpox, abdominal pain (diarrhea, constipation, bloating), digestive disorders, liver disorders, asthma disorders, relieve itching, eliminate skin diseases, and reduce pain. Abstract

This study reveals the potential of ultrasonic extraction method in yielding valuable extracts from Moringa oleifera leaves. Moringa oleifera, a versatile plant, takes center stage in this research. The concept aligned with the teachings of the Quran regarding the intricacies of Moringa and its application in acne treatment offers a secure and sustainable option. The utilization of ultrasonic extraction technique contributes to enhancing the benefits obtainable from Moringa. The antibacterial properties identified within Moringa position it as a promising candidate within the realm of medical applications, thereby aligning with the values propagated by the Quran, emphasizing the appreciation of nature's wonders.The methodology of this research involves ultrasonic extraction method and phytochemical analysis conducted in a laboratory setting, alongside evaluating the antibacterial potential through literature review. A bibliometric approach is employed to analyze relevant literature and Quranic verses concerning Moringa. This research falls within the qualitative research category and embodies the post-positivist perspective. Findings of the study indicate that the ultrasonic extraction method successfully yields approximately 22.22% of extract. Moreover, the phytochemical analysis reveals the presence of compounds such as flavonoids, saponins, tannins, alkaloids, triterpenoids, and steroids in the ethanol extract of Moringa leaves.

Abstract

Turtle is one of the marine fauna that is protected because its existence is threatened with extinction. The high exploitation of turtles will threaten the sustainability of turtles in the future. Turtles are hunted a lot because of the high selling value of turtle body parts. The uniqueness of the shells on turtles to be used as accessories, until they are preserved for display is a common thing. In addition, the extinction of turtles also occurs because turtles are often trapped in fishing nets and turtles are carried by strong currents to hit coral which causes many turtle carcasses to be found. Through these problems, marine environmentalists find the right solution. To cope with the extinction, turtle breeding centers were built in various coastal areas in Indonesia. Various elements of society work together in efforts to conserve turtles. As a result, there are turtle breeding sites on every coast, for example turtle conservation on Pangumbuhanbeach in West Java, turtle conservation in Bali, and turtle conservation in Banyuwangi. Allah has given the mandate to humans as stated in the Qur'an.

Abstract

Biodiversity is one of the components of the environment which plays an important role in shaping the ecosystem that provides life support on Earth. For that reason, the efforts to provide protection is necessary. Islam is very much aware of the important role of biodiversity, therefore Islam have participated in biodiversity conservation through Islamic thought. The conservation of biodiversity in Islamic thoughts is shown through various rules sourced from the Qur’an, hadith and fatwas of para. Indonesia as a country with the second largest biodiversity in the world and a country with the largest Muslim majority population in the world has an important role to play in developing and utilizing Islamic legal traditions in the conservation of biodiversity. Abstract

Lingkungan merupakan tempat berlangsungnya segala aktivitas makhluk hidup di dunia. Perlindungan lingkungan adalah pekerjaan manusia. Lingkungan memiliki pengaruh yang besar bagi kehidupan manusia. Lingkungan dapat berubah fungsinya karena berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah karena era global. Kesadaran ekologis sangat penting bagi masyarakat untuk mengatasi perubahan lingkungan. Selain itu, kerusakan kondisi alam terus berlanjut, yang memprihatinkan. Kesadaran ekologis dapat dimulai dengan penerapan etika lingkungan. Etika lingkungan dapat diatasi dengan mengubah cara kita berpikir dan hidup secara keseluruhan daripada sebagai individu. Ada korelasi antara etika lingkungan dengan firman Allah SWT dalam Surat al-Araf ayat 56, yang melarang manusia merusak bumi setelah Allah SWT memulihkannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan apa yang dimaksud dengan etika lingkungan dan isu-isu terkait. Serta mengetahui bahwa korelasi antara etika lingkungan dengan sintesa Al-Qur'an dari 56 ayat Surat al-Araf adalah bagaimana umatnya hidup sebagai Al-Qur'an.Kata Kunci : Etika, Lingkungan, Al-A’raf, Manusia.
