Abstract

This service program aims to develop Kampung Tapi as an agro-tourism village based on sustainable integrated farming. Kampung Tapi has great potential with fertile agricultural land, biodiversity, and rich local culture. However, the local community faces various challenges, such as unproductive yard land, limited skills in marketing products, and high dependence on the traditional agricultural sector. To address these issues, this program uses a participatory approach method through site surveys, socialization, training, mentoring, and periodic evaluation. The training provided includes integrated agricultural management techniques based on zero waste, making organic fertilizer from agricultural waste, and digital marketing through packaging and social media. This activity actively involves the Dasawisma group to ensure that the training material is not only understood, but can also be applied in daily life. It is hoped that through this service program, a significant increase in the technical, managerial, and marketing skills of the Dasawisma group and also the community of Kampung Tapi will be achieved. In addition, the active participation of the community in the management of local products becomes the main attraction of Kampung Tapi agrotourism, expanding the marketing network, and increasing income. This program not only provides economic benefits to the community, but also contributes to environmental sustainability and the development of Kampung Tapi as a leading agro-tourism destination. With the synergy between the agriculture and tourism sectors, Kampung Tapi is expected to become a model of a sustainable and inspiring agritourism village

Abstract

Adolescence marks a critical transition from childhood to adulthood, a period characterized by identity exploration and the pursuit of new experiences to build personal understanding. However, it is also a vulnerable stage, with many adolescents becoming involved in cases such as sexual harassment, gang violence, and bullying. Institutionally, religious education typically ends at the elementary level, where children attend MDTA (Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah) to establish basic religious foundations. After MDTA, there is no formal continuation structured by the government, leaving adolescents without sufficient guidance during this crucial phase. This community service program aims to instill the cultural values of the pesantren (Islamic boarding school), implement its practices, and evaluate its impact on strengthening religious behavior among teenagers. The mentoring activities successfully empowered adolescents to study classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning), recite the Qur'an and Hadith, enhance their worship practices, develop integrity-driven character, and maintain strong social ties. Parental, community, and government support further reinforced the program's success, introducing a new concept built on four pillars: spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical well-being. Through this holistic pesantren-based approach, adolescents achieved a balanced development that prepares them for future challenges.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in the field of education, particularly in the design and delivery of learning materials. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Muhammadiyah Tambaksari in Blora Regency, as a faith-based primary educational institution, faces challenges in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in teaching and learning activities due to limited understanding and skills among teachers. Through a community service program, training on interactive learning design based on AI was provided to 12 teachers at MI Muhammadiyah Tambaksari. The training consisted of four sessions covering an introduction to AI, training on interactive learning design, the use of AI-based digital applications, as well as evaluation and feedback. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in teacher competencies, with an average post-test score of 88 compared to a pre-test score of 53. Classroom implementation demonstrated a positive student response to AI-based learning, with 95% of students expressing interest in learning again using similar media. The outcomes of this program not only enhanced teachers’ abilities in designing engaging and adaptive digital learning, but also had a positive impact on students' motivation and engagement in the learning process.

This Community Service (PkM) is designed to socialize the concept of Design Thinking to educators through the delivery of materials and direct practice. The stages of activity include preparation, implementation: pretest, delivery of materials along with examples of design thinking concepts, creating interview instruments, reflection, and posttest, and program evaluation. Participants are trained to understand the concept of Design Thinking, identify implementation challenges, and create instruments to find and solve educational problems. The results obtained from this PkM activity are: (1) the average increase in understanding of the material on Design Thinking using N-Gain is 0.50, included in the moderate category (2) recapitulation of participant satisfaction with the PkM activities that have been carried out by the PkM team of the Mathematics Education and PPG Study Program obtained an average of 83.7% of participants strongly agree and 36.3% agree. Abstract

The transformation of higher education in the digital era requires lecturers to have the competence to utilize learning technology effectively, including the utilization of Learning Management System (LMS). However, many lecturers have not optimized LMS as an interactive and structured learning tool. This Community Service Program aims to improve lecturers' ability to use LMS through technical and pedagogical training based on direct practice and andragogical approaches. Activities are carried out through preparation stages, three-day intensive training, two-week implementation assistance, and evaluation. The results show a significant increase in lecturers' competence in managing LMS, with an average score increasing by 32 points after training. Active participation of partners, the success of the digital class mini project, and the formation of an LMS practitioner community are positive indicators of the program's success. Outputs in the form of modules, video tutorials, and digital learning products make a real contribution to improving the quality of online learning in the higher education environment. This program has the potential to be widely and sustainably replicated to support inclusive and adaptive digitalization of education.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to increase adolescents' awareness and knowledge regarding the role of Vitamin A (Retinol) in preventing myopia, particularly in rural areas such as Gembleb Village, Trenggalek. The activity was conducted on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in collaboration with the Government of Gembleb Village and supported by the Institute for Research, Community Service, and Publication (LP3M) of Universitas Kadiri. A total of 15 adolescents participated in the educational intervention, which included a pre-test, a lecture session, and a post-test evaluation. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge about myopia and the importance of Vitamin A for eye health. Pre-test scores averaged lower compared to post-test results, with an average increase of 20–25 points. This finding suggests that structured education can effectively enhance health literacy among youth, particularly regarding nutritional prevention of visual disorders. These outcomes underscore the importance of continued community-based health education programs, especially in underserved areas, as a strategic effort to reduce the prevalence of preventable eye diseases
