Abstract

This disruptive era marked by technological advances and social change provides both challenges and opportunities for da'wah institutions. This research aims to explore the role of da'wah institutions in entrepreneurship and innovation as a strategy to increase relevance and social impact. The method used is qualitative with a library research approach, analyzing relevant literature about social entrepreneurship and innovation in the context of da'wah. The research results show that da'wah institutions can utilize social entrepreneurship to empower communities, create independent resources, and reduce dependence on external donations. In addition, the integration of information and communication technology in da'wah allows the communication of messages that are more interesting and effective, especially to the younger generation. However, da'wah institutions must also be ready to face challenges such as changes in people's mindsets and high competition. This research recommendation includes innovative development strategies and collaboration with the private sector to strengthen entrepreneurship programs. With the right approach, it is hoped that da'wah institutions can make a significant contribution to society in this ever-changing era.

Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly examine the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) in enhancing the quality of educational services in the ever-evolving digital era. The problem formulation addressed in this research is how MIS can significantly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of educational services. The methodology employed in this study is a qualitative approach with case studies from various educational institutions, including elementary schools and universities. The findings reveal that the implementation of MIS significantly enhances information accessibility for students, parents, and teachers, accelerates administrative processes, and improves communication among all educational stakeholders. Furthermore, the use of MIS facilitates accurate and timely data-driven decision-making. The discussion in this research emphasizes the importance of user training and technological support to maximize the potential of MIS and reduce resistance to change. The conclusion of this study asserts that MIS plays a crucial role in achieving high-quality educational services that are responsive to the needs of students in the digital era.

Abstract

With an emphasis on third-semester students, this study investigates the function of peer support in assisting students at UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan in completing academic assignments. The purpose of the study is to investigate how peer relationships affect academic achievement, especially in cooperative learning settings. Purposive sampling was utilized to select 20 students for in-depth interviews in order to gather data. According to a thematic analysis of the interviews, students' academic performance is positively impacted by peer support, which includes practical, emotional, and informational assistance. Over-reliance on peers, however, may impede the growth of autonomous academic abilities. According to the results, creating a peer-supportive atmosphere can increase motivation and output while striking a balance with independence. This study advances our knowledge of how peers engage in classrooms and offers useful advice for enhancing cooperative learning.

Abstract

This study aims to identify discipline and motivation on employee performance. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. Respondents are employees of PT. Yuan Wira Perdana. The data source uses primary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with employees of PT Yuan Wira Perdana which were conducted in November 2024. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence between discipline and motivation on employee performance at PT Yuan Wira Perdana. The managerial implications in this study are that companies must be adaptive in responding to matters related to discipline and motivation. The need for a draft of regulations that can provide achievements and sanctions for violators of discipline and the need for stimulus so that employees can be motivated to work such as employee gathering activities, providing incentives, certified training can be some options for this.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of podcasts in increasing the accessibility of religious information among Generation Z (Gen Z) in Indonesia. Gen Z, who were born in the digital era, have unique characteristics as "digital natives" who rely heavily on technology and interactive media to obtain information. With the increasing popularity of podcasts as a flexible and interesting media format, this research uses a qualitative descriptive approach through literature studies and interviews. The research results show that podcasts not only facilitate the accessibility of religious information but also offer a new way of conveying da'wah messages that are relevant and attractive to the younger generation. Podcasts allow listeners to learn about Islamic values ​​in-depth, anytime and anywhere, without time and place restrictions. This study also found that despite challenges such as content quality and the risk of spreading misinformation, the potential of podcasts as a da'wah tool is enormous. This research concludes that the use of podcasts in da'wah can contribute to empowering individuals and communities, as well as creating a more inclusive space for dialogue among the younger generation. The implications of these findings indicate the need for an effective strategy in developing podcast content to ensure that the information conveyed is accurate and useful for the audience.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of incentives and motivation on employee performance. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. Respondents are employees of PT.Kb Bank Tbk. The data source uses primary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with employees of PT.Kb Bank Tbk which were conducted in November 2024. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence between incentives and motivation on employee performance at PT.Kb Bank Tbk. The managerial implications in this study are that companies must be adaptive in responding to matters related to incentives and motivation. The need for a draft regulation that can provide achievements in providing other incentives and the need for stimulus so that employees can be motivated to work such as employee gathering activities and certified training can be some options for this.

Abstract

Body shaming is an act of belittling someone based on their physical appearance, which has a negative impact on self-confidence, especially in adolescent girls. This study aims to examine the effect of body shaming on the self-confidence of adolescent girls in the social environment and media. The methods used are observation and literature study with a qualitative approach. Observations were made by observing the behavior of adolescents at school and their interactions on social media, while the literature study collected various literature on body shaming, self-confidence, and adolescent psychology. The results of the study showed that body shaming has a significant impact on decreasing the self-confidence of adolescent girls, which can affect their mental and social well-being. Adolescents who often experience body shaming tend to feel inferior, avoid social interactions, and have the potential to experience psychological disorders such as depression. This study is expected to provide insight to the public, especially educators and parents, regarding the importance of stopping the practice of body shaming and supporting the formation of healthy self-confidence in adolescent girls.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of perceived quality and familiarity on brand credibility on the KFC brand as a fast food provider. The quantitative research approach with purposive sampling as data collection so that 103 respondents were recorded, both female and male aged 17-47 years. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires with Google Form containing closed questions with a Likert scale as an alternative answer that represents respondents. Data were analyzed with Partial Least Square using SmartPLS. Thus, the test results showed that brand credibility was influenced by perceived quality, but not by brand familiarity.

Abstract

Submitting information in the form of news texts has an important role in mass communication, including in the educational context. One type of text that is often used in schools is news text, which aims to improve students' writing and reading skills. However, many language errors are found in news texts written by students, both in the use of spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and arrangement of ideas, which can reduce reader understanding and the effectiveness of conveying information. This research aims to identify types of language errors in news texts written by SMA Negeri 2 Kuningan students, as well as analyzing their impact on understanding and conveying information. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a language error analysis approach in news texts regarding Mount Ibu activities. The results showed that the most frequently found errors included aspects of morphology, syntax, semantics and phonology. These errors, even though they seem trivial, can affect the clarity of the message conveyed in the news text. Based on these findings, it is recommended that there be improvements in the use of punctuation, choosing more appropriate words, as well as training for students in writing news texts to make them more effective and easier to understand. It is hoped that this research can contribute to improving the quality of news writing in schools, especially in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of brand reputation and brand awareness on consumer decisions to purchase bottled drinking water products, with a special emphasis on the NU Berkah brand. The research method used in this study is quantitative. Purposive sampling was used in the sampling procedure. This survey involved a total of 99 respondents. Men and women aged between 17 and 57 years who live in Indonesia and use NU Berkah brand bottled drinking water (AMDK) became respondents. The data source distributed questionnaires via Google Form to obtain primary data. In this study, closed questions with Likert scale response criteria strongly disagree, disagree, agree, and strongly agree were used. By using the SmartPLS tool version 4.1.0.0, the data analysis method used Partial Least Squares. The findings of the study indicate that reputation and brand awareness have a beneficial and significant impact on consumer decisions to purchase.
