Abstract

This research is based on the growth of the phenomenon of online shopping through Instagram social media which continues to increase from time to time. Entrepreneurs today are expected to utilize Instagram social media to promote their products, in accordance with the demands of the times. This research aims to identify opportunities and challenges in developing an online business with a case study on Koodoo Company. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method to identify, investigate, and discuss issues in depth with the business owner. In this study, the findings show that there are various opportunities that can be utilized in building an online business, such as potential market growth and consumer penetration through digital platforms. The implications of this scientific work can provide deep insights for online business players, especially through a case study involving Koodoo Company. By understanding the opportunities that exist, companies can design more effective strategies to exploit the digital market.

Abstract

Reading skills are very important for elementary school students to master. To improve reading skills in elementary school is to use global methods. This research aims to determine the beginning reading ability of grade 2 students in elementary school. Based on the author's initial observations of the initial reading skills of grade 2 students at State Elementary School (SDN) 117830, low results were obtained. This can be seen from the symptoms that occur in learning, such as students being less active, not understanding letters, not understanding punctuation marks and students' low reading skills. This research is classroom action research. It consists of several main aspects of treatment and observation, namely increasing initial reading skills using global methods which were implemented at SDN 117830, involving 28 students consisting of 15 girls and 13 boys who were registered in the 2023/2024 academic year, using a research design Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of two cycles. Each cycle is held twice in class and each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research showed that in the first cycle of action, the average ability of students to read at the beginning reached 66% and the ability of students to read classically was 54%. In the second cycle of action, there was an increase in the initial reading ability to reach 87%, while the classical reading ability was 93%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the global method can improve the beginning reading skills of grade 2 students at SDN 117830.

Abstract

Causes of lack of enthusiasm for learning among Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Middle School students. Based on questionnaires and interviews conducted with Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Middle School students. Boring classroom learning is the main factor in students' low enthusiasm for studying at Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Middle School. Boring learning makes students sleepy, annoyed, and indifferent to the material being explained. Meanwhile, enthusiasm for learning greatly influences the learning process and students' future. This factor is not very good for students, therefore learning requires learning methods that are attractive to students. These factors can minimize students' enthusiasm for learning, including Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Middle School students.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling teachers are guidance and counseling officers in schools who provide services related to student development and also making them independent. The implementation of guidance and counseling programs needs to be systematic and structured. Guidance and counseling management is needed to achieve the goals that have been created, because it can place the roles of guidance and counseling teachers in fulfilling their obligations to serve counselee, in this case students. Guidance and counseling management includes planning, organizing, actuating or implementation and also controlling and monitoring or what is called supervision, which is the core of management in guidance and counseling in schools. The role of guidance and counseling teachers in guidance and counseling management is very important, sothe expertise of guidance and counseling personnel is needed to carry out good management. Good management carried out by good personnel can facilitate achieving the desired goals.

Abstract

One of the problems in learning is that teachers rarely motivate students, and students are not motivated. Finally, students are less motivated and their learning outcomes are not achieved well. The research aims to determine student learning motivation in improving learning outcomes, student learning outcomes in PAI lessons before and after getting motivation, and determine the role of PAI teacher motivation in improving student learning outcomes. This research uses field research with descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation in the field. This research was conducted at Muhammad Al-Unaizy Elementary School. The results of this research show that providing motivation before studying at SD Muhamad Al-Unaizy has gone well. Thus, this motivational activity can improve student learning outcomes at the end of the meeting. Supporting factors in this activity include parental support, adequate infrastructure. The inhibiting factor is the level of students' varying levels of absorption in absorbing motivation from the teacher.

Abstract

Motivation is an encouragement that a person has to do something to achieve the goal or what he wants. This research is motivated by the results of an initial survey of researchers discussing with coaches and player guardians, for the beginning of 2022 the players at the Putra Junior club were 30 senior players and for young ages there were still none. But over time players for young ages, namely ages 9-12 years at the Putra Junior club, arrived to take part in football training at the Putra Junior club. The arrival of players aged 9-12 years does not necessarily want to take part in training, but there is a sense of desire or encouragement to want to take part in football training from themselves and from their parents. Therefore, researchers want to know the level of desire and encouragement called motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of motivation of players aged 9 to 12 years in participating in football training at the Putra Junior club. This research was conducted on May 2, 2023 at Kanalan Field, Banyuwangi Regency, using the total sampling technique, the entire population was sampled for this study, with 30 participating players. This research uses a method with data collection with a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. It is known from the results of quantitative descriptive analysis that the motivation of 9-12 year old players in participating in football training at the Putra Junior club in the very high category is 10%, high 23%, moderate 40%, low 23%, and very low 3%. The results of the analysis show that the motivation of players aged 9 to 12 years following football training at the Putra Junior club is 40% in the medium category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems that arise in the learning process. This research aims to reveal students' responses to biology learning. The subjects of this research were students of SMAN 3 Siak Hulu. The research population was class X of SMAN 3 Siak Hulu, more specifically classes X4 and X5. The sample in this study consisted of 40 students from 2 different classes selected through random sampling techniques. The data collected is the result of distributing an online questionnaire using Google Form. The results of the research show that student learning motivation in biology subjects produces an average percentage of 95.4% with very good interpretation criteria.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of serialized image media on the achievement of cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years at TK Harapan Kita Yadika, Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency. His study used a type of experimental research with a Quasi Experiment design in the form of The Equivalent Time Sample Design. The study population consisted of all children aged 5-6 years at TK Harapan Kita Yadika Kindergarten as many as 2 classes. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique with the consideration of taking one group randomly, namely Melati 1 class which amounted to 18 children. This research variable consists of independent variables, namely serialized images and dependent variables, namely the achievement of children's cognitive development. Data collection techniques using observation with observation sheet instrument. The data were analyzed using non-parametric statistics by means of the wilcoxon test with a real level of α = 0.05 with a critical value of 40. The results showed that there was a significant effect of serialized image media on the cognitive development outcomes of children aged 5-6 years at TK Harapan Kita Yadika South Labuhanbatu Regency. With the results of statistical calculations where the hypothesis test results show Jcount of 54.5. The hypothesis testing criteria used are the real rate α = 0.05, with dk = n-1 obtained Jtable of 40, so it can be concluded that Jcount (54.5) > Jtable (40). This means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected or means that serialized image media has a significant effect on the achievement of cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years at TK Harapan Kita Yadika Kindergarten, Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the form of hegemony of power contained in the novel "Si Putih" by Tere Liye. This research uses Gramsci's Hegemony theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literary research approach with literature study data collection techniques, reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The data source of this research comes from the novel "Si Putih" by Tere Liye published in 2021 by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in the form of phrases, sentences or paragraphs contained in the novel. The results of this study describe the form of hegemony of power in the story towards the end of the novel "Si Putih" in one of the characters, namely the King of Mount Timur. The form of hegemony of power he exercised was to subjugate the Animal Controller to submit under his rule. In addition, the Eastern Mountain King's form of hegemony is shown by utilizing the power he has, by releasing the virus to modern cities so that his goal of revenge is achieved.
