<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the types of conversational implicatures found in the novel Oriana's Wedding Diary by Ayana Kamila, as well as their implementation in Indonesian language learning in high school. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The subject of this research is the novel Oriana's Wedding Diary by Ayana Kamila. Data collection techniques in this research used note-reading and literature study techniques. The results of this research were that several types of conversational implicatures were found in the novel, including: 1) General conversational implicatures, 6 data were found containing general conversational implications in the novel. 2) Specific conversational implicatures, 4 data were found containing general conversational implications in the novel. 3) Scale conversational implicatures, 3 data were found containing general conversational implications in the novel. The results of this conversational implicature research can also be implemented in high school in several materials, such as anecdote text material, fiction and non-fiction book material, and finally in historical story (novel) text material. In learning materials there are often sentences that can be interpreted in various ways. By understanding implicature, it is hoped that it can reduce confusion in interpreting the meaning that students have regarding these sentences.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to 1) find out the values of character education in the novel "ordinary people" by Andrea Hirata 2) find out the relevance of the character education value of the novel "ordinary people" in the learning of short stories. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection in this study uses a literature technique with content analysis. Some of the steps to collect data in the novel Ordinary People, 1) The researcher reads the novel as a whole carefully, 2) Records or marks words and sentences related to the formulation of the problem, such as the structure of the novel, as well as sentences that show the values of character education, and 3) Identifies the values of character education contained in this novel. The results of this research found 5 values of character educators, namely honesty, discipline, hard work, independence, and democracy. From the results of the above analysis, 10 analysis data were found. The results of this study can be relevant to the learning of short story texts contained in KD 3.5 Identifying the elements that build literary works in short story texts that are read or heard and can affect the formation of student character in accordance with the strengthening of the Pancasila student profile that applies to the Independent curriculum.]]>

<![CDATA[. Discussion of the basic principles of muamalah in Islam includes learning about the rules that regulate relationships between humans regarding property, rights and obligations. The aim of the basic principles of muamalah is to create justice and benefit in social life. This research aims to review further the basic principles of muamalah in Islam which serve as guidelines for Muslims in carrying out economic and social activities. By applying these principles, it is hoped that a just, prosperous and blessed society can be achieved. This research uses a qualitative approach with the library search method. The descriptive qualitative approach used aims to explore and explain existing phenomena by relying on sources of information from various sources such as books, journals, digital databases and other literature. The main aim of this research is to provide insight that the basic principles of muamalah in Islam do not only limit halal and haram rules in economic activities, but also guide Muslims in building economic interactions that are fair, blessed, and in line with Islamic values.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the effect of video tutorial media on the ability to write descriptive text for students in class VII MTsN 2 Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population of this study was all class VII MTsN 2 Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year, consisting of 10 classes with a total of 320 students. The samples taken were classes VII-1 and VII-4, totaling 32 students in each class. The method used is an experimental research method, this will use the "two group post-test design" model. The instrument used is a description test. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the "t" test. Data without using video tutorial media was classified as not meeting the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) with an average value (mean) of 68.21, students' skills in writing descriptive text using video tutorial media were classified as meeting the category. minimum completeness criteria (KKM) with an average value (mean) of 90.75. Next, hypothesis testing shows tcount>ttable with a value with the t stat getting a value of -15.94956082 and t Critical two-tail getting a value of 2.000297822 so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the cultural value of the folklore of Barongan Kudus Art. This research was motivated by the lack of public knowledge of the values contained in barongan art. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The source of the data comes from a book entitled "East Coast Folklore" written by Mohammad Kanzunnudin published by CV Adhigama in 2024 page 75. The data is in the form of fragments of the Holy Barongan Art story. Data collection techniques are carried out by the read and listen method. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman's theory are (1) data collection, (2) data presentation, (3) data reduction, (4) verification. The results of the analysis show the values contained in barongan art, namely the value of beauty, biological value, scientific value, skill.]]>

<![CDATA[The problem with this study is that many schoolchildren still complain about having trouble writing essays, texts, or stories. The issue with writing skills is that for students to write well, they also need a lot of extensive knowledge. The objective is to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on the ability of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru to write negotiation text material for the 2023–2024 academic year. This will be done by measuring students' ability to write negotiation text material using class problem-based learning. This exploration technique is trial research. A scoring system for evaluating a person's capacity to write negotiation texts serves as the data collection method. The examination area is at SMA Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru. The information examination methods in this exploration are homogeneity test, ordinariness test and t test. Based on the calculations, this study came to the conclusion that, at the 95% significance level, or = 0.05, tcount is 38.39 and ttable is 1.66. The research alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted because tcount is greater than ttable (38.39 is greater than 1.66). Therefore, the ability of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru to write negotiation texts is influenced by the problem-based learning model.]]>

<![CDATA[Social media has become an inseparable part of people's lives, including in the world of education. Students can use social media for various purposes, including to support the learning process. This research aims to understand how the use of social media by Islamic Economics students at UIN SMH Banten influences their study habits. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to students to find out about the social media they use, duration of use, and purpose of use, as well as its influence on study habits. The research results show that social media has a positive and significant influence on student study habits. Simultaneously, the social media variable as a whole contributes 49.2% to the study habits variable.]]>

<![CDATA[Language serves as a medium for interpersonal communication. The acquisition of language in children commences during infancy and progresses through exposure and linguistic maturation. The enhancement of linguistic abilities in early childhood is geared towards acquainting and enhancing their linguistic repertoire, enabling effective verbal interaction with their surroundings. The realm of language proficiency encompasses four key components: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. A method employed to foster linguistic proficiency involves the utilization of flashcards. The approach employed in this study involves a review of existing literature. The findings revealed that the utilization of flashcard materials has the potential to enhance linguistic abilities among young children by incorporating visual elements such as images, alphabets, symbols, and colors. This, in turn, captures the attention of children, facilitates easier retention of new words, enables recognition of letter shapes and sounds, enhances listening skills, promotes critical thinking, and encourages verbal expression, as evidenced by their communication proficiency.]]>

<![CDATA[The role of appraisal orientation and work performance appraisal systems in human resource management is very important to motivate employees and achieve company goals. This article uses a qualitative approach with case studies to explore employee performance and working conditions. The research results show that integration between appraisal orientation and a work performance appraisal system that is tailored to the company's needs can support organizational growth and increase employee motivation. Appraisals and work performance appraisal systems are recognized as effective tools in creating excellence for companies by directing the achievement of organizational goals and improving employee performance. In this context, this research highlights the importance of using relevant and transparent evaluation methods to ensure fairness in employee appraisals. Therefore, implementing good work performance appraisals also involves open communication between management and employees, as well as providing constructive feedback. Thus, this article emphasizes that job performance appraisal is not only an evaluation tool, but also a strategic instrument for building a work culture that supports employee growth and development as well as overall organizational success.]]>

<![CDATA[IDN Times is an Indonesian digital media platform aimed at the younger generation. IDN Times is a journalistic company with two main offices in Jakarta and Surabaya. As a media outlet disseminating news to its readers, IDN Times is not free from language errors in creating and distributing news. The aim of this research is to explain the types of morphological language errors in news writing on IDN Times concerning corruption and the viral fake calculator in the film "In-laws Are Deadly." The researcher focuses the investigation on news published in June. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature. The method used in this research are reading and writing. The results of the study show the presence of language errors in the field of morphology, which include: 1) Errors in affixation omission, and 2) Errors in word writing. This analysis is expected to serve as an evaluation to be more careful in writing news, particularly in the aspect of morphology.]]>
