Abstract

A cross-border lease is a leasing or rental and financing transaction carried out outside the borders of a country where the lessor is domiciled in a different country from the lessee's country. This type of leasing transaction is sometimes referred to as cross-border leasing or international leasing transaction because it involves two different countries. An introduction to this type of leasing includes the advantages and risks of cross-border leasing businesses, an overview of taxes and laws, and implementation and development trends of cross-border leasing businesses. The research methodology used in this study includes a comprehensive analysis of existing literature, case studies of current cross-border lease practices, and interviews with industry experts to understand the practical implications and challenges. Additionally, statistical data on global leasing trends were analyzed to project future developments. It is estimated that cross-border leasing will become increasingly popular, driven by economic globalization and companies' need for financing flexibility. However, stringent regulations will continue to be a challenge for this practice.

Abstract

In the banking world there is a tendency for standard contracts, in the form of contracts that have previously been determined and determined unilaterally in terms of the content and form of the contract with the intention of being addressed to the public with the same clauses, are continuous and are usually printed and detailed and cannot be negotiated. Likewise, what applies to Bank Aceh Syariah, the contents of the contract are deliberately left blank to give the customer the opportunity to negotiate and are filled in after an agreement is reached. This kind of contract limits the customer and does not provide a balanced position for either party, who basically has the same opportunity to determine what is desired in the contract. The application of the principles of al-hurriyah, fairness and balance between parties in contracts has been limited in banking. For this reason, this writing aims to find out how the process of making a murâbahah contract/agreement is, the position of the customer and the Aceh Syariah bank in formulating the murâbahah contract and the application of the principle of freedom of contract in the process of making the murâbahah contract according to a review of Islamic law at PT. Bank Aceh Syariah Sub-Branch of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. This research is categorized as qualitative research based on data collection methods through Library Research and field research. Based on the studies that have been carried out, the results show that the process of making a murabahah contract/agreement at PT. Bank Aceh Syariah does not fully involve the customer, the customer only has the opportunity to read the contract which has been fully prepared by the bank, so that the position of the customer and the bank is not equal. The bank is in a stronger position and can unilaterally determine the contents of the contractual clauses agreed upon, while the customer is in a weak position and must accept all the contents of the clauses that have been determined by the bank. A position like this shows that the principles of freedom, justice and balance in contracts cannot be fully applied in the process of making murabahah contracts/agreements at PT. Bank Aceh Syariah Capem. UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh.

Abstract

White turmeric is an herbal plant that contains additives and has good potential, does not cause residues or is harmful when consumed by livestock. The main components of white turmeric rhizome which have medicinal properties are essential oils and curcuminoids. Curcuminoid compounds have antibacterial properties that can improve the digestive process by killing pathogenic bacteria and stimulating the walls of the gallbladder so that they can facilitate fat metabolism. Administration of white turmeric extract 0%, 2% and 4% had no significant effect on slaughter weight, carcass weight, giblet percentage and abdominal fat percentage of broiler chickens

Abstract

This article explores the concept of capital lease in accounting and its implications for a company's financial statements. A capital lease, also known as a finance lease, is recognized as both an asset and a liability on a company's balance sheet. This research discusses the differences between capital lease and operating lease, as well as their impacts on a company's financials. Through literature review and case study analysis, this article provides insights into the advantages and challenges companies face when implementing capital leases. The findings suggest that while capital leases strengthen balance sheets by recognizing assets and liabilities, they also affect profitability through higher interest and depreciation expenses. Proper understanding and management of these implications can help companies make more informed financing decisions.

Abstract

Negative externalities of carbon emissions are a global problem that requires government intervention to deal with. This research method uses a qualitative approach using the literature review method. The conclusion is that carbon finance is an important tool in global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change. With a combination of carbon markets, public funding, and private investment, there are many opportunities to support projects that have a positive impact on the environment. However, to achieve success, the challenges of regulation, transparency, and market stability must be overcome.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the distribution of chlorophyll-a in the waters of Bone Bay during high wave events based on the parameters of sea surface temperature, wind speed and ocean currents. The aim of this research is to analyze parameters related to high waves which influence chlorophyll-a concentrations in the waters of Bone Bay. Chlorophyll-a patterns in Bone Bay waters were studied based on Aqua MODIS satellite data for chlorophyll-a data and ECMWF for wind speed, sea surface temperature and ocean current data. The average value was determined using Aqua MODIS and ECMWF satellite data for 10 years from 2011 to 2020. These parameters were analyzed to determine the correlation with chlorophyll-a. The calculation results show that sea surface temperature and wind speed decreased after high waves, while ocean currents and chlorophyll-a increased after high waves in Bone Bay waters. The correlation between chlorophyll-a and wind speed is 0.15, with sea surface temperature -0.44, and with ocean currents -0.26. Spatially, high concentrations of chlorophyll-a are found in the coastal waters of the South Sulawesi region with chlorophyll-a concentrations reaching 0.4-5 mg/m3. Temporally, high chlorophyll-a concentrations occur after high wave events with an average chlorophyll-a concentration of 0.32 mg/m3.
