Abstract

The current availability of land to meet the needs of educational unit support infrastructure is one of the problems that often arises amidst the difficulty of land availability in accordance with its designation. Cibeunying Kidul District is one of the sub-districts in the city of Bandung which has a fairly large population with housing that is in the high density category. The purpose of this research is to find out the existing condition of fulfilling the scale of education facility services and fulfilling the standard infrastructure that must be provided in basic education units as well as adjustments to future conditions in the implementation of education in Cibeunying Kidul District in 2023 and the achievement of each student from home to school in accordance with the implementation of the zoning system. the method used is to conduct a literature study by including case studies as a measuring tool in finding answers to the problems found. The results showed that of the 16 elementary schools in Cibeunying Kidul District, 53% of the availability of classroom infrastructure was still insufficient compared to the number of students in each school, 47% were sufficient. If you look at the development of the population in the next 6 or 7 to 12 years, a large enough additional land is needed to provide classroom infrastructure in the future. Other infrastructure such as the teacher's room, principal's room, library, toilets, prayer room, and ceremonial and sports fields which were seen in one of the case study schools showed that even though the achievements were in accordance with the stipulated zoning system, the fulfillment of other infrastructure was no longer possible to develop. in accordance with the number of existing students, so that in addition to providing new land, setting the time for learning, the new solution is to change the learning method to a blended learning system with digital learning media which will not require a large enough space requirement as currently determined standards.

Abstract

Garbage is produced from various types of human activities and is one of the environmental problems that have an impact not only on the environment but also on human health, such as environmental pollution, death of animals or plants, and the emergence of diseases caused by vectors. One of the efforts to reduce is by sorting waste based on its type so that it is easier to determine the next processing method and implementing 3R (reuse, reduce, and recycle) to prevent and reduce waste generation. Palakali Creative Art Space already has trash cans based on type (organic, non-organic and Hazardous Toxic/B3), but the practice of sorting waste according to these criteria has not been carried out.

Abstract

The Cikendi Spring Protection Building is listed in the list of Cultural Heritage sites. From a historical perspective, this building holds a number of stories and memories for the city of Bandung. However, it seems as if Cikendi's struggle is being ignored, the community is less concerned about the existence of the Cultural Heritage Building. In fact, if examined more deeply, the Cultural Heritage Building has so many meanings to be explored. The purpose of this research is to make us aware that the Cikendi Cultural Heritage Site is not just a Dutch heritage building, but it holds history and real evidence that springs are useful for us today, maybe tomorrow, or in the future. This research is qualitative in nature, where the data is obtained based on existing theoretical studies. The existence of the Cikendi Spring Protection Fort is a silent witness to the struggles of our ancestors as well as a tangible result of the work of civilization in the past. The success of our ancestors in utilizing the surrounding environment so that the benefits of Cikendi Springs can still be felt today

Abstract

Natural daylighting comes from sunlight that is reflected from outside into the building and plays an important role for the building. One of the buildings that must have good natural lighting is the Church. Natural lighting is needed to support religious activities in the Church from a functional and architectural point of view by giving a certain meaning or aesthetic value. Based on the applicable standards, the church as a place of worship has a minimum requirement of 200 lux lighting (SNI) 03-6197-2000. This study aims to determine the suitability level of natural lighting in the church with applicable standards. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with data acquisition through direct observation and simulated using DIALux Evo 10.1 software. Simulation results data in the form of lux calculations and lighting distribution. Based on the simulation results, it was found that natural lighting at GPIB Bethel Bandung did not meet the applicable standards for two effective times. Therefore, a response is needed to overcome this by increasing the number and width of window openings.
