Abstract

This research aims to improve thematic learning outcomes by using the Application of Scientific Methods to Improve Student Learning Outcomes with Poster Media at UPTD SDN 66 Kanjitongan. This research is classroom-based Class Action Research. The subjects of this research were class IV students at UPTD SDN 66 Kanjitongan, totaling 28 students. The research data was obtained from quantitative data in the form of learning results tests in cycle I and cycle II, as well as data from student observations. The results of this research show that: 1) the learning outcomes of cycle I are in the low category with an average score of 67.67%. 2) Science learning outcomes in class IV, cycle II are in the high category with an average score of 86.42%. 3) a scientific approach using poster media can improve the thematic learning outcomes of UPTD SDN 66 Kanjitongan students. The results of observations show that there has been a change in students' attitudes, including: students become more active and motivated in the learning process, more confident and brave enough to ask questions about subject matter that they do not yet understand. This shows that there was an increase in learning outcomes after applying scientific methods to improve student learning outcomes using poster media.

Abstract

Persons with disabilities are everyone who has physical and/or mental disorders that can interfere or constitute obstacles and obstacles for him to carry out activities properly. The condition in which a person is physically or mentally imperfect is often referred to as disabled or persons with disabilities. The objectives of preparing Assistive Technology for Students with Special Needs are: Encouraging the University of Subang to expand access to education for individuals with special needs. The benefit of this program is to help students with special needs in carrying out the learning process, as well as assisting lecturers in providing lecture services to students with special needs during the learning process. Other resources/parties involved are students, lecturers, quality assurance institutions (LPM), athletes with disabilities who are members of the Subang Regency NPCI. This wheelchair assistive technology was developed using the 4D method (define, design, develop, and disseminate).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational activeness and learning motivation on the learning achievement of students who are active in organizations at the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, class of 2021. The method used in this research is a quantitative survey method with a descriptive approach. The population in this study amounted to 152 students. The respondent selection technique used random sampling using the slovin formula so that a sample of 110 students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta was obtained. Data collection was carried out through distributing closed questionnaires using a Likert scale of 1-5. The data analysis technique used in this study consists of measurement model analysis, structural model analysis, and direct effect hypothesis testing using the SmartPLS program. Based on the results of the research conducted, the results show that organizational activeness (X1) has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement (Y) with a t-count of 3.943> t-table 1.98 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, learning motivation (X2) has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement (Y) with a t-count of 5.677> t-table 1.98 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, learning motivation (X3) has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement (Y) with a t-count of 677> t-table 1.98. 677 > t-table 1.98 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and organizational activeness (X1) and learning motivation (X2) together have a positive and significant effect on learning achievement (Y) of 49.3% can be seen through R Square and the remaining 50.7% is explained by other factors or variables.

Abstract

Writing is an important skill that everyone must master. Good writing will make it easier for readers to understand the meaning of the article. However, there are still many people who make mistakes in writing, including middle school and high school/vocational school students. This research aims to analyze writing errors in student study tour reports at SMP Negeri 1 Semarang and SMK Cor Jesu Malang. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the research show that there are several writing errors that often occur in study tour reports for middle school and high school/vocational school students, namely errors in the use of capital letters, errors in the use of non-standard words, errors in the use of punctuation marks, and errors in the use of inappropriate words. Abstract

The research aims to analyze the listening skills of elementary school (SD) children in comprehending dialogue in news and instructions. It covers the ability to understand and respond to messages conveyed, including news dialogues and instructions for elementary school children. The research approach used is "Library Study,"one of the qualitative research methods, where the study is conducted in the library through the collection of books, documents, archives, and other materials. The article writing technique utilizes the IMRAD method. The research results indicate the importance of understanding the Indonesian language. In comprehending dialogue, the focus is on understanding vocabulary, context, and emotional nuances. In listening to news, children need to recognize the main information, understand facts, and the structure of the news. Comprehending instructions requires language understanding, time sequence, and instruction processing. Both extensive and intensive listening play a role in developing the listening skills of elementary school children. A holistic learning approach involving direct interaction and practical exercises helps children develop listening skills. The role of teachers, parents, and the learning environment supports the effective formation of language understanding in elementary school children.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of professional pedagogical training on teachers’ teaching skills in schools. In an effort to improve the quality of education, many educational institutions have provided pedagogical training to their teachers. This study aims to measure whether such training has a positive impact on teachers’ teaching skills. The results showed that teachers who took pedagogical training had significant improvements in teaching skills compared to the control group. They are better able to plan effective learning, manage the class well, and interact with students positively. Apart from that, they also have a higher level of motivation in teaching. These findings suggest that pedagogical professional training can have a significant positive impact on teachers’ teaching skills. Therefore, it is recommended that educational institutions continue to encourage and provide relevant and useful pedagogical training for their teachers. This can contribute to improving the quality of education and student learning experiences.

Abstract

Hospital nurses are a workforce that has enormous responsibilities and almost no time for holidays. The difficulty for these female nurses is managing time for both roles, giving rise to role conflict within the nurses which has an effect on stress at work, especially for people who have neuroticism personalities. This research aims to gain knowledge about the effect of multiple role conflict on work stress and neuroticism personality as a moderator variable. The research sample was 200 samples with the characteristics that would be used as samples determined by the researcher. Based on the analysis in this study, it was found that the results of simple linear regression (t= 24.24, p = 0.000 (p < 0.01) and R2 were 0.748, namely 74.8% was influenced by role conflict and 25.3% was influenced by other factors and for the MRA test the results were (t= 2.07, p = 0.040 (p < 0.05) and R2 were 0.764%, namely 76.4% was influenced by neuroticism personality as a moderator and 23.6% is influenced by other factors. It can be concluded that there is an influence of dual role conflict on work stress and the neuroticism variable can moderate or strengthen the influence of dual role conflict on the job stress of female nurses at RSU Padang.

Abstract

The use of media that is less interesting, unpleasant and not easy for students to understand makes it difficult for students to understand the material and often feels bored and lacks motivation to learn. The aim of this research is to create interesting, adaptive YouTube video learning media that pays attention to student interests. As a Civics Teacher, you can build students' moral knowledge in YouTube videos. YouTube has the advantage of being very popular with all levels of Indonesian society, because of the presence of creators with varied content. YouTube contains audio-visual video content so that the messages contained in this content are very easily accepted by users or viewers. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of YouTube in supporting PPKn learning so that students' moral knowledge is formed. This research uses a questionnaire and quantitative methods. The answers of research respondents show that YouTube is effective as a PPKn learning medium.

Abstract

His research aims to describe the implementation of school partnerships with stakeholders, knowing the benefits of these school partnerships. As well as knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors of MIS AL QUBA school. this research uses a qualitative description method. In addition, researchers also used a literature study research strategy. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The subjects of this research involved the principal, teaching staff, student affairs, facilities and infrastructure, and students. The object of this research is MIS AL QUBA school. The results of the study show that the success of educational goals in a school institution besides depending on internal factors referred to as school residents, namely those consisting of principals, educators and education personnel, internal stakeholders are expected to carry out the teaching cycle and external stakeholders are needed as assistance to work on the nature of education, both of which are interrelated. And the inhibiting factor so far in the school's relationship with the local community. Stakeholders are the path to effective administration of an educational institution or school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the understanding of mathematical concepts of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Cibitung on rational number material. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Cibitung involving 20 students as research subjects. Data collection using a description test related to rational number material. The results of the research obtained by the ability to understand mathematical concepts of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Cibitung are low. This can be proven by based on research data. The percentage frequency distribution of students' overall mathematical concept understanding ability is obtained by a total score with very low criteria as many as 1 student, a total score with low criteria as many as 11 students, a total score with sufficient criteria as many as 2 students and a total score with good criteria as many as 3 students and a total score with very good criteria as many as 3 students. It can be concluded that the success of learning has not been achieved because concept understanding has not met the standards.
