ANDIL Mulawarman Journal of Community Engagement (ANDIL Mulawarman J Comm Engag) merupakan jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) Universitas Mulawarman. Jurnal ini berisi tentang penerapan dan hilirisasi hasil-hasil penelitian melalui kegiatan PkM dalam berbagai bidang multidisiplin seperti pendidikan, teknosains dan komputer, agrokompleks, kesehatan, dan sosbudkum (sosial, budaya, dan hukum), serta Kewirausahaan dan ekonomi. Selain itu, ANDIL Mulawarman J Comm Engag memuat berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam menangani dan mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi di Masyarakat dengan menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang kemudian dapat bermanfaat bagi peningkatan kesejahteraan Masyarakat. Artikel-artikel dalam jurnal ini diterbitkan empat kali dalam setahun yaitu periode terbit Januari-Maret, April-Juni, Juli-September, dan Oktober-Desember.

Abstract

Kota Bangun III Village, Kota Bangun Darat District, Kutai Kertanegara Regency, is a village that has the potential for tourism development, namely Kumbara Lake. Kumbara Lake is hte result of post-mining land which was developed into a tourist destination for local communities. The lack of facilities at Kumbara Lake has caused the community’s attractiveness to decrease. Apart from that, the lack information regarding Kumbara lake tourism is one of the factors that causes people not to visit Kumbara Lake. Therefore, the 49th KKN of Universitas Mulawarman has designed several prorams, namely, digital promotion and development of Kumbara Lake tourism. The method implemented is by developing facilities and promotions that are distributed through social media. The results of some of these work programs have been carried out well. The public can see the promotions through social media and the output of the work programs implemented is in form of photo spots and promotions video.

Abstract

Abstrak: Mangrove forests play a crucial role in the context of international relations, particularly concerning global environmental issues such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, and natural resource management. In Maridan Sub-district, Penajam Paser Utara, the mangrove ecosystem holds significant ecological value as a coastal protector, carbon absorber, and habitat for various species. However, its existence faces serious threats due to infrastructure development and environmental changes. To address these challenges, the authors conducted a mangrove planting and awareness campaign with the hashtag #SaveTheCoast. The event involved representatives from the local community, government institutions, and high school students as an initial step toward mangrove preservation and environmental consciousness. This effort is crucial as Maridan Sub-district is slated to be part of the National Capital (IKN), necessitating land expansion that could endanger the mangrove ecosystem. The activity reflects the cooperation between the local community, regional government, and educational institutions in safeguarding and preserving mangroves as a precious natural treasure. Through education, conservation, and shared awareness, it is hoped that the mangrove forests in Maridan Sub-district will continue to thrive for future generations while promoting sustainable coastal preservation and ecosystem management.

Abstract

Pekerjaan Mebel adalah membuat berbagai produk mebel, salah satunya fasilitas belajar. Produk fasilitas belajar perlu memiliki desain yang melibatkan pengguna sehingga lebih user friendly. Untuk dapat memfasilitasi faktor emosi konsumen maka dapat digunakan metode kansei. Penggunaan rancangan yang sesuai dengan konsumen ini diharapkan menjadikan produk yang dihasilkan mempunyai daya saing terhadap produk serupa dari luar. Tim pengabdian masyarakat sebelumnya telah melakukan penelitian perancangan produk fasilias belajar dengan metode Kansei. Dan kegiatan pelatihan dari tim ini diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan para industri kecil mebel di Samarinda cara memproduksi mebel yang melibatkan persepsi konsumen dan mempunyai daya saing

Abstract

One of the efforts to prevent sexual abuse and violence in children is to provide sex education from an early age. Sexual harassment occurs because of a lack of sex education for children. By providing appropriate and age-appropriate sex education outreach, children can learn to recognize signs of inappropriate behavior and know how to report acts of sexual harassment to a trusted adult. The purpose of this community service activity is to build efforts to increase understanding, awareness, and provide information related to sexuality issues from an early age to students of SDN 010 Kelurahan Manggar Baru, so as to avoid sexual harassment and violence and create tourist attractions that have safe spaces for children -child. This work program activity is in the form of socializing "Early Age Sex Education" to students of SDN 010 Manggar Baru Village using the Service-Learning method. The results obtained were that the subjects were able to describe in illustrations what parts of the body that other people should not see and touch. The subject can also mention and demonstrate what to do when someone else wants to see and touch a part of the body that is not allowed to be touched by other people.

Abstract

Chemistry is part of science which studies the changes that occur in matter and these properties. Where the application of chemistry or science can be found in everyday life. One of them is the manufacture of lava lamps which are used as a method of applying chemistry by studying the reactions that occur. Therefore, in the Real Work Lecture 49 program of Mulawarman University, individual work program activities are carried out, namely making lava lamps by utilizing tools and materials that can be found in everyday life as a simple application of chemistry. Collection of tools and materials to be used, preparing gifts for students as a form of appreciation, preparing materials and adding insight to students which will be displayed in the form of Power Point, carrying out individual work programs in grade 5 of State Elementary School 001 Samboja and delivering materials. The entire series of individual work programs went well and in accordance with the plans and needs of the students at Sekolah SD Negeri 001 Samboja.
