Abstract

Domestic wastewater is wastewater originating from businesses and/or residential activities (real estate), restaurants, offices, commerce, apartments and dormitories. Based on its characteristics, there are 2 types of domestic wastewater, namely black water comes from toilets and is generally collected in septic tanks, while gray water comes from washing, bathing and cooking activities, which is generally discharged directly into drainage channels or public waters without undergoing prior processing. One alternative recommended to overcome this problem is the vertical sub-surface flow artificial wetland method. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the vertical sub-surface flow artificial wetland method in treating gray water wastewater with apu wood plants (Pistia Stratoites) in reducing pollutant levels. Artificial wetlands are created using gravel and sand on a laboratory scale. Data analysis was carried out based on the results obtained from analysis of pH, BOD, COD and Ammonia parameters before and after processing. Detention times 3, 6, and 9 as treatment days. The main parameters are Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), and ammonia. Supporting parameters pH and temperature. Artificial wetlands have proven to be very effective in treating gray water wastewater with apu wood plants (Pistia Stratoites) as a reducing medium. The research results showed that efficiency occurred at a detention time of 3 days by reducing BOD levels by 98.33%, COD by 98.42% and ammonia by 92.22%. The results of this research have met the requirements set by the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No: P. 68/Menlhk/Setjen/Kum.1/8/2016 concerning Domestic Wastewater Quality Standards.

Abstract

Tanaman bidara (Zhizipus Mauritiana L) merupakan tanaman yang dapat ditemui di berbagai penjuru dunia. Tanaman ini biasanya tumbuh di tempat beriklim tropis seperti di Kawasan Asia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profl krmatogram pada tanaman bidara arab yang telah diekstraksi menggunakan etanol 96%. Identifikasi kromatogram pada lempeng KLT. Alkaloid menggunakan mayer, Glikosida menggunakan Liberman boucardad, Flavonoid menggunakan Wilstater, Tanin menggunakan FeCl3, Antrakuinon menggunakan brontager. Fase diam yang digunakan adalah silika gel dengan penampak noda dengan masing masing perekasi. Pelarut yang digunakan n-heksan : etil asetat (7:3) dan n heksan : kloroform (9:1) hasil analisis kromatografi lapis tipis yang dibaca dibawah lampu uv senyawa alkaloid dengan pereaksi mayer memiliki nilai rf sebesar 0,4. Senyawa glikosida dengan pereaksi Liberman boucardad memiliki nilai rf sebesar 0,3. Senyawa flavonoid dengan pereaksi wilstater memiliki nilai rf sebesar 0,1. Senyawa antrakuinon dengan pereaksi brontager memiliki nilai rf 0,7. Senyawa tanin dengan pereaksi FeCl3 0,7.

Abstract

This study investigated bioactive compounds from Loranthaceae as antihypertension drug candidates through in silico approach. Coriatin and coriamyrtin structure as a targeted ligand was carried out from PubChem NCBI, lisinopril as a native ligand for control was used in this study. Targeted protein that chose for hypertension was angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), which retrieved from protein data bank. Ligands and protein were docked by Molegro virtual docker version 5.0 and analyzed by PyMol 2.3 and Discovery studio version 21.1.1. docking results showed that coriatin and coriamyrtin posed interaction at the same sites of ACE protein as well as lisinopril. Some active residues of lisinopril that identified on coriatin were GLN281, HIS383, and TYR520, while residues of coriamyrtin that were same as lisinopril were GLU384, GLU411, HIS513, and HIS387. The same binding sites of coriatin and coriamyrtin with lisinopril indicated that both of compounds have potential activity as well as lisinopril. In conclusion, coriatin and coriamyrtin were potentially as antihypertension drug candidates. Further in vivo and in vitro should be conducted for future investigation.

Abstract

Hypnotherapy is a very effective method to overcome problems and problems to students who are currently continuing hypnotherapy education is a very easy way so that feelings, thoughts, actions and behaviors can synchronize thoughts. The goal of Hypnotherapy is to hold Kendari to human beings, especially in the human subconscious and hypnotherapy plays a very important role in fostering a sense of self-confidence, a sense of security and comfort in a student at the Faculty of Health Sciences The problem in this study: How is the effectiveness of hypnotherapy in increasing self-confidence in FIK Ibrahimy students so that they are able to be confident and able to speak in public without any nervousness and anxiety. The purpose of this study is how to understand hypnotherapy therapy to foster self-confidence in FIK Ibrahimy studentsand how to know the effectiveness of the results of hypnotherapy lecturers in teachers in increasing self-confidence in FIK Ibrahimy students. This type of research is qualitative research. Qualitative method is field research, which is a research conducted in the actual field. With data types and sources using primary and secondary data. The data analysis that the author uses is analysis Qualitative is inductive, namely an analysis based on the data obtained, then a certain pattern of relationships is developed. The method in conducting respondents was 30 FIK Ibrahimy students who lacked self-confidence and 4 homeroom teachers for the Pharmacy study program and 4 homeroom teachers for the midwifery study program. The conclusion of this study is that hypnotherapy is done well, gradually from discussion, dialogue, comprehension tests, relaxation and active reactions of students Fik Ibrahimy, as well as a good evaluation by the executive lecturer and 4 homeroom teachers in assisting. The results of the calculation with the effectiveness formula showed effectiveness 5 as evidenced by the target of 30 Fik Ibrahimy students who lacked confidence in successfully ouputing 30 Fik Ibrahimy students who dared to be confident in appearing in front of the class or appearing on the public surface.
