Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Wordwall learning media in improving learning outcomes in economics subjects for class X students at SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. The subjects of this research were 72 students consisting of 36 students from class XE and 36 students from XF. This research is an experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design. The analysis techniques used are reliability tests, normality tests and effect size tests. Based on the results of the effect size test analysis on the pretest and posttest data for the experimental group, it shows a value of 0.97, which is included in the large classification. The results of the independent sample t-test have a significance value of 0.001 0.05. This can show that there are differences in learning outcomes between before the wordwall learning media was applied and after the wordwall learning media was applied. It can be concluded that the Wordwall learning media has significant effectiveness on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the leading economic sectors in East Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This research uses secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of East Kolaka Regency with a time span of 2018 to 2022. The data was analyzed using Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and Klassen typology. The results showed that the Basic Sector consists of four categories: (1) Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries; (2) Wholesale and Retail Trade, Rep. Cars and Motorcycles; (3) Adm. Government, Defense, and Compulsory Social Security; and (4) Other Services. In addition, the Klassen Typology Analysis identifies certain economic sectors as advanced. (1) Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Sector; (2) Government Administration, Defense, and Compulsory Social Security; and (3) Other Services.

Abstract

The target of this research is to find information on the process of processing empty oil palm bunch waste, the impact of processing empty palm fruit bunch waste which creates a comfortable working environment, the impact of a comfortable working environment on work productivity. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving 5 employees of PT Cipta Usaha Sejati. Data was collected through interviews, observation, documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, and the validity of the data was checked using triangulation techniques and using reference materials. The research results show that there is the availability of empty palm oil bunch waste and the processing of empty palm oil bunch waste carried out by PT Cipta Usaha Sejati produces products in the form of chopped tangkos and ash which is used as compost fertilizer. The waste processing carried out can affect the employee's work environment in 3 aspects, namely: (1) Layout of empty oil palm fruit bunch waste (2) Cleanliness of the work environment (3) Air circulation, which means that with this waste processing, the work environment around the waste disposal site be neat and orderly. Because a work environment that is neat and organized also has a positive impact on employee work productivity with 4 aspects: (1) Ability to motivate oneself (2) Build self-confidence (3) be responsible at work (4) make a positive contribution.

Abstract

The concept of assessment for learning is usually used to provide feedback, monitor progress, and determine students' future learning progress. The Kahoot games application is an online-based test platform that can be used as an assessment medium for learning. This research aims to evaluate the use of the Kahoot games application as an assessment medium for learning. This research is descriptive quantitative research. Purposive sampling technique was used to take a sample of 93 students. An evaluation questionnaire consisting of product quality instruments, usability instruments and effectiveness instruments was used to collect data. The instrument was tested for content validity through expert judgment using the Aiken V formula. Construct validity testing using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was also carried out to see the validity of the questionnaire instrument. The instrument reliability test was carried out by looking at the value of Cronbach Alpha. The results of the analysis show that the evaluation questionnaire instrument meets this validity with a value of 0.81-1.00. The construct validity results show the KMO and Bartlett test value is 0.675 and the reliability value is 0.857, which means the instrument is valid and reliable. The evaluation results show that the product quality of the Kahoot games application is stated at 85.36%, which means very good, the application usability level is stated at 87.73%, which means very good, and the application effectiveness level is stated at 90.53%, which means very good. With these excellent evaluation results, it can be concluded that the Kahoot games application can be used as an assessment medium for learning for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs of learning media that support learning objectives by using interactive media based on bot Telegram on basic accounting equations in learning economics. The subjects in this study consisted of one economics teacher who taught in class XII IPS 1 and five students from the same class at SMA Negeri 11 Pontianak. The method used was descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The results showed that (1) basic accounting equation material is one of the basic materials that are difficult for students to understand; (2) students need interactive learning media that adopts technology, is interesting and innovative; (3) The use of Telegram bot-based learning media is considered the right solution to help achieve learning objectives on basic accounting equation material. Thus it is concluded that Telegram bot-based interactive learning media is needed in learning economics class XII SMA to facilitate teachers and students in the teaching and learning process.
