Maddah: Journal of Advanced Dawah Management Research adalah jurnal ilmiah yang dikelola oleh Program Studi Manajemen Dakwah, Fakultas Dakwah, UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. Jurnal ini berfokus pada pengembangan teori, konsep, dan praktik manajemen dalam konteks dakwah Islam. Jurnal ini memfasilitasi publikasi penelitian berkualitas yang berkontribusi pada kemajuan ilmu manajemen dakwah, dengan mengangkat isu-isu strategis yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat muslim saat ini. Skop penelitian yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal ini mencakup berbagai aspek manajemen dakwah, termasuk manajemen organisasi dakwah, teknologi dalam dakwah, ekonomi Islam dan dakwah, serta manajemen komunikasi dakwah. Selain itu, jurnal ini juga mencakup topik pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui dakwah, kebijakan publik yang berkaitan dengan dakwah, kajian gender dalam dakwah, serta pengembangan kepemimpinan dakwah. Dengan skop yang luas ini, Maddah berupaya menjadi wadah untuk inovasi dan pengembangan ilmu di bidang manajemen dakwah, serta memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi penguatan dakwah Islam di tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

The problem of juvenile delinquency that occurs in Siliragung District in particular causes concern for parents or the community. This requires da'wah to build good morals in the process of adolescent growth and development. The focus of research in this thesis is: 1) What are the cases of juvenile delinquency in Siliragung District, Banyuwangi Regency? 2) What is the da'wah strategy of PAC IPNU – IPPNU in preventing juvenile delinquency in Siliragung District, Banyuwangi Regency? 3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the PAC IPNU – IPPNU da'wah strategy in preventing juvenile delinquency in Siliragung District, Banyuwangi Regency? The aim of this research is to describe cases of juvenile delinquency in Siliragung District, to find out the da'wah strategies used by the IPNU-IPPNU PAC in preventing juvenile delinquency, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors experienced by the IPNU-IPPNU PAC. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. This research came to the conclusion that: 1) Juvenile delinquency cases are grouped into three, namely ordinary delinquency, delinquency that leads to violations, and special delinquency. 2) The da'wah strategies used, namely sentimental strategies and rational strategies. 3) There are supporting and inhibiting factors from internal and external to the organization.

Abstract

Every company needs a good marketing mix strategy to introduce its products to the public. That way, the target that has been determined by the company in selling its products will be achieved. This research has a research focus and objectives, namely: (1) To describe the marketing mix strategy used at PT Ebad Group Jember in marketing Hajj and Umrah products (2) To describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of sales at PT Ebad Group Jember. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentaries. Data is analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Data validity using method triangulation and source triangulation. The results of the research obtained are: Hajj and Umrah product marketing mix strategies in achieving sales targer at PT Ebad Group Jember using online and offline marketing mix strategies. On online media via Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, WhatsApp. While offline through the distribution of brochures and visiting people's homes or door to door. Marketing mix guidelines in the form of 7P, namely : product, price, place, promotion, process, people and physical evidence. Supporting factors in achieving sales targets at PT Ebad Group Jember are: The spirit of the leadership and the PT Ebad Group Jember in their duties. And also the existence of an online marketing mix strategy. While the inhibiting factor in achieving sales targets at PT Ebad Group Jember is the obstacle in online promotion activities, limited knowledge about the media. In addition, there are many scams today, especially about Hajj and Umrah fraud.

Abstract

Islam is a minority religion on the island of Bali, with a population comprising only 10% of the overall Balinese society. In its existence as a minority religion, the Muslim community must certainly adapt to Bali's indigenous culture in religious activities to maintain religious tolerance. This is related to the religious values of Muslims in Bali, which are questioned whether they are increasing or decreasing. The purpose of this research is: a) to identify and describe the propagation strategies of the Ibnu Batutah Grand Mosque in enhancing the religious values of Muslims in the Puja Mandala area; b) to identify and describe the increase in religious values of Muslims at the Ibnu Batutah Grand Mosque. In this study, the author employs a qualitative approach with descriptive research. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that: a) the propagation strategy in enhancing the religious values of Muslims, especially in Puja Mandala, involves creating programs consisting of educational activities, worship activities, community social activities, and socio-economic activities. These activities are further divided into several fields implemented on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. b) the religious values of Muslims at the Ibnu Batutah Grand Mosque have increased, as each propagation program contains indicators for increasing values, namely creed, Sharia, and morality.

Abstract

Service strategy entails a series of intangible activities occurring through interactions between customers, employees, or other elements provided by a company's service provider, aiming to address customer problems or needs. This study aims to comprehend the service strategy of Shafira Tour & Travel Branch in Jember to increase customer numbers and the challenges it faces. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. Findings reveal the utilization of the "welcoming attitude" strategy, extending beyond verbal greetings to involve actions aligned with staff directives. The strategy process comprises formulation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The main challenges faced by Shafira Tour & Travel Branch in Jember include competitor rivalry and digital technology advancement, presenting both opportunities and threats. The opportunity lies in leveraging technology to ease marketing efforts, while the threat manifests in price competition with similar competitors in the pilgrimage and umrah travel industry.

Abstract

Hasby Tour and Travel, as a travel agency committed to providing unforgettable travel experiences, adopts an innovative approach in its marketing strategy. The marketing strategy is guided by Hasby Tour and Travel’s policy, which sets a minimum quota for specific tour groups. Consequently, the agency not only caters to individual travel needs but also offers tailored opportunities for groups to enjoy customized offerings based on their participation scale. The purpose of this research is to understand the marketing strategy employed by Hasby Tour and Travel in the village of Sumberbaru, Sumberbaru District, Jember Regency. Additionally, the study aims to identify the supporting factors and obstacles in its implementation. The researcher utilized a qualitative descriptive research method. Research subjects were selected based on predefined criteria to enhance the research process’s success. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The study concludes that during the pandemic, Hasby Tour and Travel’s marketing strategy utilizes the STP approach (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning). Furthermore, the SWOT analysis reveals the following: Strengths: Adherence to customer agreements regarding pricing and discounts. Weaknesses: Lack of physical office space and promotional efforts. Opportunities: Exploration of new locations and addressing minimal competition. Threats: Considerations related to organizational structure.

Abstract

In the realm of preaching, there is undoubtedly a need for specific strategies to ensure that the preaching partners can effectively embrace the preaching process. Since converts are newly embracing Islam, and their faith is still considered fragile, intensive guidance is essential to lead and assist them. The Islamic religious educators have a noble duty to enhance the faith of converts through the employed preaching strategies, aiming to motivate, guide, and instruct them to understand the teachings of their newly adopted religion. The objectives of this research are: 1) To comprehend the preaching strategies of Islamic religious educators in enhancing the faith of converts. 2) To identify the supporting and hindering factors of the preaching strategies employed by Islamic religious educators in enhancing the faith of converts. This research adopts a qualitative research method with a descriptive study design. The findings of this research include: 1) Islamic religious educators employ three preaching strategies, namely establishing the Al-Muhajirin Study Group specifically for converts, providing virtual counseling guidance, and implementing SALAMAH (Joyful Home Services). 2) Three supporting factors are identified, including the widespread lack of awareness among converts about Islam, interfaith marriages, and environmental factors. On the other hand, three hindering factors include the lack of awareness among converts to learn and practice Islamic teachings, the susceptibility of converts to revert to their previous religions, and the influence of peer factors.

Abstract

The background to the implementation of the Islamic work ethic by the kiai to employees at the Darut Thalabah Foundation Sumber Kalong Bondowoso is a good start to instilling in teachers the spirit of work, that ethos is related to the spirit of work. And teachers not only carry out knowledge transformation but must have a reflection of life's struggles by working to meet the economic needs of life and improve their quality while working and have the ability to compete to achieve the goals of the foundation. The focus of the research is: 1) What is the kiai's leadership strategy for applying the Islamic work ethic to employees at the Darut Thalabah foundation? 2) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors for the kiai's leadership strategy in applying the Islamic work ethic to employees at the Darut Thalabah foundation? This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research type. Research subjects used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity uses data triangulation, sources and techniques. The results of this research are as follows: Kiai in applying the Islamic work ethic to employees has three strategies, 1) Exemplary Strategy. 2) Habituation Strategy. 3) Pesantren Activation Strategy (preparing the curriculum) to plan and determine activities for teachers regarding employee rights and leader responsibilities to subordinates.
