Karakter : Jurnal Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Islam, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia, adalah sebuah publikasi akademik yang meneliti beragam aspek pendidikan Islam dengan fokus pada pembentukan karakter. Jurnal ini menyajikan kajian-kajian yang mendalam mengenai bagaimana pendidikan Islam berkontribusi dalam membentuk karakter individu, masyarakat, dan bangsa secara luas. Melalui artikel-artikelnya, jurnal ini membahas berbagai topik penting dalam pendidikan Islam, mulai dari pengembangan kurikulum berbasis nilai-nilai Islam, metode-metode pengajaran yang efektif, hingga tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam sistem pendidikan modern. Jurnal ini terbit 1 tahun 4 kali (Februari, Mei, Agustus, dan November).

The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of formal leaders in formal Islamic educational institutions. Formal leaders in formal Islamic education institutions are individuals who give commands or influence subordinates to carry out activities in accordance with established procedures and methods in order to achieve common goals. The method used is library research and content analysis with a qualitative approach. Library research is research carried out by reviewing various journals, books and other relevant references. The research results show that formal leadership in formal Islamic education institutions has a very large role in improving institutional performance in various aspects. There are five dimensions of leadership which include (1) leadership goals, (2) individuals who influence the group (3) individuals who are influenced, (4) interaction processes, and (5) situations where leadership takes place. The most basic types or styles of leadership are authoritarian leadership, democratic leadership and laissez faire leadership. Formal institutions consist of institutions established by the government and non-governmental organizations. Leaders of these institutions are required to have 2 competencies, namely core competencies (soft skills) and technical-knowledge competencies (hard skills). These two competencies are described in levels of proficiency with the lowest level being level 1 and the highest being level 5.

This study explores the implementation of the peer feedback method in improving the learning outcomes of grade VIII students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMP Negeri 7 Kota Bangun Seberang. Using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, this study aims to improve student engagement and learning outcomes through active participation in providing feedback to others. This method was chosen to overcome student boredom with conventional learning methods such as lectures. The results of the study indicate that the application of peer feedback can improve students' understanding and motivation to learn. The research process involved two cycles of action including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collected through observation and testing were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings showed a significant increase in student learning activities and learning outcomes, indicating that the peer feedback method is effective in facilitating collaborative and supportive learning. This study concludes that peer feedback not only functions as an assessment tool, but also as a means of developing students' character and communication skills.

Character education is very important in this modern era, especially in creating children of the nation who have good attitudes. Therefore, the researcher wants to find out the extent of character education from Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's perspective and its relevance to contemporary educational theory. If we apply it in character education, according to Abdullah Nashih Ulwan, maybe I can apply it contemporary, adapted to the development of this contemporary education. The following are these articles: 1) Biography of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan, 2) Character education, 3) Purpose of character education, 4) Character education according to Abdullah Nasih Ulwan, and 5) Relevance of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's thoughts on character education in contemporary education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the data that has been collected and uses an isometric analysis method. Examples of this type of data processing techniques are document creation, data processing, analysis, and the process of drawing conclusions. Character education is a deliberate attempt to help a person or student to understand and act on core ethical values based on research results. The purpose of character education is a unique system for assessing a person's character based on the concept of composition, consciousness, or will, and is used to assess a person's character in the context of God Almighty. According to Abdullah Nashih Ulwan, a character school is also called a moral school. This requires the study of moral principles as well as attitudes and character. Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's relevance to contemporary higher education in terms of character education is moral and moral education.

Implementing school culture is crucial to creating a positive and effective learning environment. SMP IT Daarul Muttaqien is known to have a school culture program. However, no further research has been conducted on how the school culture program is implemented at SMP IT Daarul Muttaqien. This study aims to determine the strategy for implementing school culture and its principles in developing it. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Because it wants to describe the implementation of the school culture program based on interviews with the school (principal, committee, and teachers), observations, and school documentation. The principal, committee, and teachers were selected as sources to obtain information related to the implementation of the school culture program as it has been carried out at the school. Observations were made to observe how the school culture program is run by the school. Documentation was carried out to visualize the objects of the school being studied. Information data was analyzed using the Miles method and triangulation. The results of the study showed that the strategy for implementing school culture was carried out by involving all stakeholders in the school. The implementation of school culture in principle has been implemented by the school which took place in stages, namely the development of school culture, innovation, performance, evaluation, involvement in decisions, and reward systems.

The purpose of this service is to explore the local wisdom of Gusjigang towards Santri. The method used in this study is a case study aimed at revealing the reality of Gusjigang to Santri, hoping to reveal the benefits of Gusjigang to Santri and increase Santri's economic independence. Gusjigang, as an example of Santri's entrepreneurial spirit, must overcome the characteristics of capitalism that always pursue profits but sacrifice social ethics. The spiritual strength of the Santri community with the spirit of Gusjigang can enhance positive business ethics. Gusjigang local content has not been included in the curriculum of Al-Azhar Islamic Boarding School, Sukoharjo, Central Java. One of the major challenges for the service team was to begin communicating the importance of the gusjigang spirit to students at Al-Azhar Islamic Boarding School in Sukoharjo, Central Java.

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Festival Anak Sholeh at Yayasan Perguruan Ar Rahman Misriadi, which focuses on increasing students' creativity and self-confidence in the religious field. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, which involves observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of religious teachers who acted as trainers and students from Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) levels. The results showed that the festival succeeded in increasing the spirit of learning religion, developing students' interests and talents in religion, and strengthening their self-confidence. Students were very enthusiastic in participating in various competitions, such as adhan and short verse recitation competitions, which were carried out in a structured manner with full support from the school. Nevertheless, this study also identified some constraints, such as limited space, lack of teacher participation in guiding students, and technical problems related to equipment. These constraints indicate the need for improvement in the implementation of the festival in the future so that it can be more optimal in achieving its goals. Thus, the Festival Anak Sholeh is not only a competition event, but also a means of strengthening character and Islamic values among students. This research provides recommendations for improvements in various aspects of the implementation of the festival so that it can be more effective in supporting the development of students' potential in the religious field.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of translanguaging and its impact in the context of education, especially in teaching Arabic as a foreign language in the Special Program for Arabic Language Development (PKPBA) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The methods used are literature study and observation to observe translanguaging (Indonesian, local language, and Arabic) that occurs in PKPBA. The results of the literature study revealed that translanguaging affects the performance of students with multilingual backgrounds (Indonesian, local languages, and Arabic). The result of the discussion in this article is that translanguaging always occurs in learning Arabic as a foreign language. Translanguaging is considered effective in learning at PKPBA, this is because translaguaging can increase student participation and activeness in learning. Recommendations for improvement include the development of multilingual learning materials, training for teachers, recognition of students' language diversity, further research on the impact of translanguaging, and the development of a more inclusive curriculum.

The purpose of this research is to find out how Abu Bakar As-Siddiq, the fifth grade winner of MIN 04 Trimo Rejo creates interactive learning multimedia on SKI subjects by using video. Learning media must complement other learning components as part of the system. The aim is to facilitate learning activities as efficiently as possible. Abu Bakar As-Shiddiq, the fifth grade winner of MIN 04 Trimo Rejo, explains video-based interactive learning on SKI material in this post. The ADDIE model is used in this research. According to ADDIE, learning design creates learning through analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. Learning system design development methodology is used to explain the research and development design process. Primary data collected through distributing questionnaires is the required data source. Participants in this study include media experts, material experts, and students. Nurul Huda University Sukaraja PGMI 6B students participated in this study. The interactive video is suitable for the application of learning, and the results of learning validation are rated as good.

Determining a monodisciplinary strategy for the advancement of science and its use in scientific integration is the aim of this research. This research uses a certain type of library research. To conduct descriptive research, researchers use words and not lists of data. These words can basically provide a general overview or explain current problems and their solutions. Content analysis is the data analysis method used, and places high priority on explaining the content of various existing propositions that arise from various theories and previous analyzes carried out by other researchers. The research findings show that a monodisciplinary approach is an approach whose foundation is solely on the scientific subject in question, without merging or combining it with other scientific fields. All sciences operate under monodisciplinary supervision, support, and motivation. Monodisciplinarity itself regulates scientific research and theoretical conclusions. A narrowly focused approach to science will result in a narrow view of religion and an interpretation of religion that has nothing to do with the research environment. The urgency of this interdisciplinary study is achieved by creating a paradigm that needs to be implanted in society by: Switching from a format based on formalism to a substantive format, changing universalism from exclusivism, research, study, and improvements both internal and external (inside and outside).

This study explores the contribution of Shaykh Al-Zaytun in shaping Mahad Al-Zaytun as a school that promotes pluralism and diversity. The aim is to provide a better understanding of how Islamic education can adapt to modern society without the need for esoteric evidence. This study also uses Pustaka methodology to identify theories related to tolerance and tolerance, as well as literature relevant to developing a culture of tolerance through education at Mahad Al-Zaytun. This study also uses a case study approach to examine the influence of Shaykh Al-Zaytun on the modern Islamic education system. This study focuses on the school's vision and the committee's commitment to tolerance. This study also highlights the potential for collaboration with other institutions, both local and international, to strengthen tolerance education. This study concludes by highlighting the importance of Shaykh Al-Zaytun's transformational leadership in promoting tolerance in everyday life.
