Karakter : Jurnal Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Islam, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia, adalah sebuah publikasi akademik yang meneliti beragam aspek pendidikan Islam dengan fokus pada pembentukan karakter. Jurnal ini menyajikan kajian-kajian yang mendalam mengenai bagaimana pendidikan Islam berkontribusi dalam membentuk karakter individu, masyarakat, dan bangsa secara luas. Melalui artikel-artikelnya, jurnal ini membahas berbagai topik penting dalam pendidikan Islam, mulai dari pengembangan kurikulum berbasis nilai-nilai Islam, metode-metode pengajaran yang efektif, hingga tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam sistem pendidikan modern. Jurnal ini terbit 1 tahun 4 kali (Februari, Mei, Agustus, dan November).

<![CDATA[Administration and management are fundamental concepts in human activity, dating back to creation in Islamic perspective. The Qur'an contains various management principles that emphasize not only efficiency and effectiveness but also the ethical and spiritual values underlying every action. This study aims to explore the concepts of administration and management from the Qur'anic perspective and to apply Qur'anic management principles in everyday life. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, this research identifies managerial values such as consultation (shura), optimal hard work (itqan), and honesty as guidance for Muslims to achieve a balance between worldly and spiritual goals. In conclusion, Qur'anic-based management not only directs operational success but also yields broad spiritual and social impacts.]]>

<![CDATA[Self-confidence is an important element in achieving success and happiness, and has a significant positive relationship with motivation to learn. However, many individuals face challenges in building their self-confidence due to social pressure and negative experiences. In this context, this study explores sources of motivation from a Quranic perspective, specifically through Surah At-Thaha verses 25-28, which describe Prophet Moses' plea to Allah for peace and ease in facing life's challenges. Tafsir Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab provides the insight that self-confidence should be built on faith in Allah and recognition of one's potential. This study also highlights the importance of social support, appreciation, and a supportive environment in building self-confidence. Using a qualitative approach and literature review, the results show that self-confidence can be strengthened through spiritual connection, internal reinforcement, and recognition of personal weaknesses, which ultimately encourages individuals to express themselves and reach their full potential. This research is expected to inspire readers to apply Quranic values in their daily lives, in order to increase self-confidence and freedom of expression.]]>

<![CDATA[Education aims to help students become more independent and critical in the process of discovering their own identity. Participatory education is a relevant approach that allows students to actively participate in the thinking process. The philosophy of educational progressivism pioneered by John Dewey reflects much of this approach. According to progressivism, education should be student-centered by emphasizing hands-on experience to teach and build critical thinking skills. Relevant works on progressivism and Dewey's concept of education are investigated in this qualitative research. The results show that the idea of progressivism is strongly related to Indonesia's national education goal, which is to create innovative, independent, and flexible students. A student-centered curriculum and a supportive education system are needed to implement this theory.]]>

<![CDATA[This study examines the effectiveness of three integration-interconnection models in Islamic Religious Education (PAI): the Tree of Knowledge Model, the Spider Web Model, and the Twin Towers Model. These models are designed to bridge religious knowledge and general sciences, enriching a holistic approach in Islamic education. The Tree of Knowledge Model positions religious values as the ethical foundation for all disciplines, integrating faith as the basis for understanding general knowledge. The Spider Web Model envisions education as an interconnected, interdisciplinary network, enhancing students' ability to perceive connections across various fields. The Twin Towers Model balances the roles of religious and general sciences, promoting moderation and openness among students. The study findings suggest that these models help reduce the dichotomy between religious and secular sciences and assist students in developing a comprehensive and relevant understanding of both disciplines. The study recommends adopting these models into the PAI curriculum, providing comprehensive teacher training, and developing integrated learning modules to prepare Islamic education students to face contemporary social and scientific challenges with critical thinking and a strong ethical foundation.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the areas worked on in school-based management is financing management. Good financing management is necessary because it is believed that with efficient and effective school financial management, errors, leakages, and variations in the use of funds from the original plan and goals will be avoided. Schools are empowered to assess their own needs through school-based financing management, which transfers control over budget allocation and use to schools. To completely reduce dependence on government funding, schools are also allowed to engage in income-generating activities. Financing management needs to be carried out carefully, diligently, and comply with relevant regulations when implementing school-based management. The preparation of school revenue and expenditure budget plans (RAPBS) as well as various forms and sources of school funding are all included in the idea of school-based financing management.]]>

<![CDATA[This study explores the integration of knowledge and religion within Islamic education, focusing on the development of models that connect both domains. Utilizing a qualitative-descriptive approach, the research analyzes various integration models, including the justification of knowledge through Quranic verses, collaboration between science and religion, and the reconstruction of knowledge within Islam. The findings indicate that the integration of knowledge and religion not only enhances students' academic understanding but also shapes their character and morals in alignment with Islamic values. The study also identifies challenges faced in implementing integration models and provides recommendations for developing a more comprehensive curriculum. Thus, this research contributes to the understanding of the significance of integrating knowledge and religion in fostering an educated and ethical generation.]]>

<![CDATA[Generation Z, known as the internet generation, has unique characteristics that influence the way they learn. Technology-based learning, such as the use of animated videos and interactive applications, can increase students' interest and understanding of complex SKI material. This article discusses the impact of technology on the scope of SKI learning in building historical awareness and cultural identity for Generation Z. This research method uses library research, namely searching for research sources by collecting several pieces of literature sourced from journals, books and other sources. The results of this research show that the rapid development of technology is currently having a significant impact on the field of education, including learning the History of Islamic Culture (SKI).]]>

<![CDATA[Conflict management is a crucial element in organizational management aimed at effectively improving performance. Poorly managed conflicts can lead to decreased productivity, interpersonal tension, and disruptions in achieving organizational goals. However, when managed with the right strategies, conflicts can act as catalysts for innovation, collaboration, and process improvement. This study uses a literature review method to analyze theories and empirical findings on the urgency of conflict management in organizations. The results show that strategies such as open communication, mediation, and routine evaluation play a significant role in transforming conflicts into opportunities. By implementing effective conflict management, organizations can create a harmonious work environment, enhance collaboration among members, and optimize goal achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[This research examines the influence of the role of parents on the learning motivation of fifth grade students at Al-Zaytun Private Madrasah Al-Zaytun School, Kita Indramayu. The family has a very important role in educational activities. So this is where the role of parents is needed to create a conducive environment so as to increase the potential, intelligence, and self-confidence of children. The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of the role of parents on students' learning motivation. This type of research is quantitative research. This research was conducted in Class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Zaytun Private School, Kita Indramayu, with a total of 16 students consisting of 11 boys and 5 girls as subjects. This research method uses a quantitative approach with prerequisite analysis test techniques and hypothesis proof techniques. The hypothesis testing technique that the authors took in this study was a simple linear regression analysis technique aimed at knowing the form of the relationship (influence) between variable x (role of parents) to variable y (learning motivation). The author uses the SPSS version 22 program in proving the hypothesis. The final analysis in this study is a simple linear regression test. The simple linear regression test value obtained is a significant value of 0.136 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that the parental role variable (X) has no effect on the learning motivation variable (Y) and the t value is 1.583 <t table 2.145, so it can be concluded that the Parental Role variable (X) has no effect on the Learning Motivation variable (Y). Then H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. Thus, the results of the final analysis in this study read "There is no influence of the role of parents on the learning motivation of fifth grade students of MIS Al-Zaytun Sekolah Kita Indramayu".]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to identify the influence of religiosity on customer decisions in choosing Islamic banks using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The SLR process includes the stages of identification, assessment, and interpretation of literature, which resulted in 18 articles from 18 journals published between 2015 and 2022, indexed by SINTA, and have E-ISSN. The results of the study indicate that the influence of customer religiosity still has opportunities and challenges to be improved. This can be seen from the low level of customer religiosity, which is indicated by the lack of religious calling that influences their attitudes and behavior, as well as limited understanding of the prohibition of usury and the use of Islamic banks only for profit. Indicators of religiosity that play a role in influencing customer decisions to choose Islamic banks include the quality of Islamic products, avoidance of usurious transactions, profit sharing principles, and Islamic features. There is a gap in results between the samples studied, which can be a research gap for further studies. Recommendations for improving customer decisions include increasing religiosity, fulfilling customer needs, and the effectiveness of Islamic financial literacy. This study can be used as a reference for further research on the role of religiosity in influencing customer decisions in choosing Islamic banks.]]>
