Karakter : Jurnal Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Islam, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia, adalah sebuah publikasi akademik yang meneliti beragam aspek pendidikan Islam dengan fokus pada pembentukan karakter. Jurnal ini menyajikan kajian-kajian yang mendalam mengenai bagaimana pendidikan Islam berkontribusi dalam membentuk karakter individu, masyarakat, dan bangsa secara luas. Melalui artikel-artikelnya, jurnal ini membahas berbagai topik penting dalam pendidikan Islam, mulai dari pengembangan kurikulum berbasis nilai-nilai Islam, metode-metode pengajaran yang efektif, hingga tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam sistem pendidikan modern. Jurnal ini terbit 1 tahun 4 kali (Februari, Mei, Agustus, dan November).

Conflict in organizations is an unavoidable phenomenon, especially in organizations that have dynamic and complex work environments. This study aims to identify and analyze effective conflict management strategies in modern organizations. Case studies were conducted in several organizations with different work structures and cultures. The approaches used in this study include negotiation, mediation, collaboration, and context. The results show that effective strategies depend on the characteristics of the conflict, the role of the leader, and open communication between the parties involved. Technology plays an important role in facilitating conflict resolution, especially in modern organizations that are increasingly digitally connected. These findings are expected to provide guidance for managers and organizational leaders in designing more effective conflict management strategies, increasing productivity, and creating a harmonious work environment.

This research aims to determine the benefits of assessing attitudes (affective) in Islamic religious education (PAI) lessons in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative method which aims to gain a deeper understanding of the use of attitude (affective) assessment in Islamic religious education (PAI) lessons in elementary schools. So, the data collection method used uses previous research data, then the data is analyzed using data obtained from relevant sources. After previous research has been analyzed, the conclusion of this research is that although behavioral assessment requires students to behave in accordance with Islamic values, their behavior often does not go well. Teachers tend to focus on skills assessment and face difficulties in creating clear and consistent assessment tools. To overcome this problem, more efforts need to be made to assess the importance of assessment by using assessment and testing tools. Additionally, behavioral assessments should be included in the report card and not just as a formality. In this way, it is hoped that the PAI learning process can be more meaningful and contribute to the formation of students' character as a whole.

Contemporary religious issues in the context of Islam and globalization reflect the challenges and opportunities facing Muslims in the modern era. Globalization, as a process that connects various countries through technology, economics and culture, influences religious dynamics in various aspects. On the one hand, globalization paves the way for the spread of Islamic information and values throughout the world, strengthening and how the Muslim community adapts to these dynamics through religious identity at the global level. On the other hand, globalization also raises concerns regarding the rise of secularism, individualism and consumerist culture which can threaten traditional Islamic values. Issues such as religious pluralism, human rights, feminism, and Islamic moderation are part of important discussions regarding Islamic responses to the challenges of globalization. Muslims are required to navigate between maintaining religious identity while engaging constructively in an increasingly connected world. This article aims to analyze various contemporary religious issues that have emerged in the midst of the globalization process, a contextual approach that prioritizes Islamic values that are relevant in this global era.

Thailand, a developing country in Southeast Asia, is striving to enhance its value and position on the world stage through the tourism industry. A country with a majority Buddhist population, Thailand is developing Halal Tourism as a new strategy to attract Muslim travelers.The development of halal tourism in Thailand is driven not only by economic motives but also non-economic considerations. Economically, the Thai government aims to open new destinations and expand the market to meet Muslim tourists' needs. A unique aspect is that Thailand has a minority Muslim population with a history of tension, especially in the Southern region. The government involves Southern Thai communities in halal tourism development, demonstrating efforts to create an inclusive society. This strategy is expected to ease political tensions that have existed due to economic disparities. By involving minority groups in tourism development, the Thai government hopes to achieve long-term peace and improve the country's positive image. The approach represents a strategic attempt to transform potential conflict zones into economic opportunities, using tourism as a tool for social integration and economic development.

This study explores the evolution of Islamic economic thought from its classical roots to contemporary interpretations, highlighting significant paradigm shifts and the contributions of influential figures throughout its history. During the classical era, Islamic economic thought drew heavily from the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith, as interpreted by scholars such as Abu Yusuf, al-Ghazali, and Ibn Khaldun. At the heart of this thinking are the principles of social justice, the prohibition of usury, and the need for a fair distribution of wealth. Recently, there have been important updates in Islamic economic thought, shaped by the global socio-economic context and the imperative to address modern economic problems. Key figures such as Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and Umar Chapra have played an important role in developing a more relevant Islamic economic theory, combining concepts such as Islamic banking, macroeconomics, and entrepreneurship based on Islamic ethics.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Kahoot media on student learning outcomes in Aqidah Akhlak learning in class X MAN 1 Padang Pariaman. The method used is quasi-experiment with Time Series Design and quantitative approach. The study population included 256 grade X students, with samples of class X.I as the control class and X.VI as the experimental class, each totaling 36 students, who were selected by simple randomization. Data were collected through an objective test with 25 questions. The results showed that the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class using Kahoot media reached 75.44%, higher than the control class of 67.89%. Hypothesis testing using SPSS 22.0 resulted in a significant value of 0.045 (α < 0.05), indicating that the use of Kahoot media significantly improved Aqidah Akhlak student learning outcomes. Thus, the research hypothesis is accepted.

Culture plays an important role in developing students' character and improving students' literacy, especially in the digital era that reflects the 21st century. This study aims to investigate the role of school culture in fostering student character and literary development through the study of literature. The data summary consists of several articles selected using a selection process of 20 articles selected using the Publish or Perish tool. The findings of the analysis show that a school culture based on religious values and literacy is able to create a conducive and inclusive learning environment. Programs such as congregational prayer, tadarus, library optimization and community-based activities provide significant support in improving students' discipline, responsibility and literacy skills. However, the research results are based on school leadership, community involvement and policy support. This highlights the importance of holistic education in creating a school culture that is in line with globalization and digitalization trends. The findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in building a school culture that is relevant to the challenges of globalization and digitalization. This research makes theoretical and practical contributions to designing educational strategies that focus on strengthening school culture.

To increase efficiency, productivity and wider access to information in teaching and learning activities, the use of technology in the learning process is currently a top priority. However, problems arise when schools lack sufficient technological devices to support technology-based learning. Therefore, there is a need for innovation in creating appropriate and useful learning media. The use of video-based learning media combined with a digital story approach is an alternative to overcome this problem. The question now is whether this learning method is successful in increasing students' interest and knowledge of arts and culture? What learning methods are used to teach using story-based digital media? This research was conducted at MTS Misbahul Khair. Data was collected through questionnaires and observations. The study results show: 1) Digital video-based learning design has been used well. 2) The questionnaire shows that this media is effective; 80% of students say that video-based digital stories increase their interest, focus and understanding. However, there are several obstacles, such as limited specifications for students' digital devices and the need for quite large storage space and internet quota.

This study, titled "Islamic Religious Education Teachers' Strategies in Teaching Sex Education at SMP Swasta Budisatrya Medan," is based on observations that many students at SMP Swasta Budisatrya Medan face challenges in understanding sex education content that is not explicitly stated in the curriculum. This research aims to analyze the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in delivering sex education to students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at SMP Swasta Budisatrya Medan in the 2023/2024 academic year. Primary data sources are derived from observations and interviews, while secondary data sources are from school documents and archives. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results show that the strategies used by PAI teachers in teaching sex education include integrating relevant content into appropriate lessons, using lecture and discussion methods, and developing materials based on the teachers' personal experiences. These strategies are effective in enhancing students' understanding of sex education, despite challenges such as the lack of specific references and supporting teaching media. It is recommended that teachers continue to develop culturally and socially sensitive teaching strategies to address challenges in sex education.

The role of the madrasa head as supervisor has been to try to support teacher professionalism through planning supervision programs, implementing and following up on the results of supervision evaluations, but up to now there are still teachers who do not understand the tasks that must be fulfilled by a teacher. This research aims (1) to determine the role of the madrasa head in improving the professionalism of teachers at MTSN 2 Medan, (2) to determine the implementation of the role of the madrasa head in improving the professionalism of teachers at MTSN 2 Medan. This research uses a qualitative approach with the case study method. There were 3 informants in this research, namely the Head of Madrasah, Deputy Head of Madrasah I, Head of Administration and also Teachers. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity techniques use triangulation. The research results in this study are the role of the Madrasah Head at MTsN 2, through a clear vision, inclusive approach, comprehensive professional development program, use of data in decision making, and prioritization of student welfare, has succeeded in creating a school environment that is conducive to improving quality. education and teacher professionalism. The innovations carried out by the Madrasa Head at MTsN 2 have succeeded in improving the professionalism of teachers and staff, as well as the overall quality of education.
