Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between customer satisfaction and self-concept with consumptive behavior in online shopping using E-Commerce Shopee among Psychology students at Universitas Tama Jagakarsa. The measurement tools used include a consumptive behavior scale modified based on the indicators proposed by Sumartono (2023), a customer satisfaction scale modified based on aspects proposed by Kotler and Keller (in Sajidah, 2023), and a self-concept scale adapted from the Personal Self Concept (PSC) Questionnaire created by Goni (2011). The population of this study consists of 125 Psychology students at Universitas Tama Jagakarsa. The sample was selected using Total Sampling technique. The results of the multi-correlation coefficient analysis on customer satisfaction and self-concept with consumptive behavior obtained an R value of 0.415 and an R Square of 0.172. The Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient analysis revealed that the correlation between customer satisfaction and consumptive behavior was r = 0.340 with a Sig value of 0.001 (<0.05), and the correlation between self-concept and consumptive behavior was r = -0.217 with a Sig value of 0.034 (<0.05). It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between customer satisfaction and self-concept with consumptive behavior. There is a positive relationship between customer satisfaction and consumptive behavior, and a negative relationship between self-concept and consumptive behavior.

Abstract

The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Indonesia’s legal processes offers opportunities to enhance efficiency and transparency. However, existing regulations do not specifically address critical aspects such as ethics, accountability, and security. This study examines the current legal framework, prospects, and challenges of AI implementation within the criminal justice system in the digital era. The study employs a normative juridical method, analyzing relevant laws and regulations alongside a comparative study of practices in other countries. The data is analyzed qualitatively to identify regulatory gaps. The findings reveal that AI holds significant potential in improving the efficiency of legal document management. Nonetheless, major challenges persist, including algorithmic bias, data protection concerns, and institutional resistance to technological adoption. Specific regulations, strengthened digital infrastructure, and capacity-building programs for legal practitioners are urgently needed to ensure a fair and sustainable application of AI in the justice system.

Abstract

Verbal sexual harassment, including catcalling, is an act that often occurs but is considered trivial or even normalized in society. This study aims to examine the legal regulation of catcalling in Indonesian laws and regulations as well as to find out its law enforcement in the perspective of criminal law. Using a normative juridical approach, this research analyses relevant legal regulations, such as the Law on Sexual Violence (UU TPKS), the Criminal Code (KUHP), and other related regulations. The research findings show that catcalling is an act that violates human rights and norms of decency and has been regulated in various regulations in Indonesia, including the 1945 Constitution, the Criminal Code, the Pornography Law, and the TPKS Law. Although the term catcalling is not explicitly mentioned in these regulations, this act has fulfilled the elements of a criminal offense of decency, non-physical sexual harassment, and violation of individuals rights. Despite this regulation, law enforcement is still constrained by a number of factors, including the lack of public awareness of the seriousness of this act, cultural barriers, and limitations in the law enforcement system. In addition, conflict resolution through a restorative justice approach is often applied, which although providing a peaceful solution, is considered to have less of a deterrent effect on perpetrators.

Abstract

The Effect of Yoga Gymnastics on Reducing Stress Scores in Master of Nursing Students at Gadjah Mada University. Stress can occur in every individual including students. Stress can cause negative impacts, namely psychological and physical impacts. Aims: This study aims to determine whether yoga exercises can reduce stress levels in Master of Nursing students at Gadjah Mada University. Method: Research design using Quasi experimental with pretest-posttest research design with control group design. Sampling using purposive sampling. There were 60 respondents who were divided into 2 groups, namely 30 respondents as the intervention group and 30 respondents as the control group. The instrument used in this study was the Perceived Stress Scale 10 (PSS-10). Bivariate analysis using Independent T-test, Paired Sample T Test and Saphiro-Wilk test. Results:  The stress score before the intervention group was 25.5 and after the intervention decreased to 12.9 with a significance of p=0.00 (p<0.05). The average stress score in the control group before was 23.9.  The average stress score in the control group after was 24.5 with a significance value of p=0.05. The intervention group stress decreased by 12.6 while the control group stress score increased by 0.6 with p value <0.05. Conclusion: Giving yoga exercises has a significant effect on reducing the stress level of nursing magaister students at Gadjah Mada University.

Abstract

Economic development aims to improve the quality of life in various aspects, yet economic growth in Sorong City has shown a declining trend in recent years. This study aims to examine the impact of the Human Development Index (HDI), poverty rate, and unemployment rate on economic growth in Sorong City, addressing the research gap as there have been few studies on this topic. A time series data set spanning 10 years (2010-2023) was analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 12. The findings indicate that HDI has a negative effect on economic growth, the unemployment rate has a positive effect, while the poverty rate does not significantly influence economic growth in Sorong City. These findings have important implications for designing more effective policies to promote sustainable economic growth in the region.

Abstract

Poverty remains a multidimensional challenge influenced by economic growth, unemployment, and population growth dynamics. While numerous studies have examined the relationship between economic growth and poverty, research that integrates unemployment and population growth variables at the district level, particularly in Eastern Indonesia, remains limited. This study aims to analyze the impact of economic growth, unemployment, and population growth on poverty levels in Manokwari Regency from 2009 to 2023. Utilizing time-series secondary data from 2009 to 2023 and multiple linear regression analysis, the findings indicate that economic growth and unemployment significantly reduce poverty, whereas population growth increases poverty levels. Collectively, these three variables demonstrate a significant influence on poverty dynamics. This study underscores the importance of district-level policies that not only prioritize economic growth but also emphasize job creation and human capital development as sustainable strategies for poverty alleviation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Firm Age, Firm Size, and Debt Ratio on firm value, with risk management as an intervening variable. The research population includes 95 companies in the food and beverage manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023. The analysis method used is path analysis with the Sobel test to examine mediation effects. The results indicate that GCG, Firm Age, and Firm Size have a significant positive effect on firm value, with coefficients of 1.720 (p=0.015), 0.060 (p=0.004), and 0.120 (p=0.003), respectively. Debt Ratio has a positive effect on firm value (B=0.025, p=0.007), contrary to the initial hypothesis. Risk management mediates the positive relationship between GCG (Sobel test=1.183, p=0.030), Firm Age (Sobel test=1.426, p=0.050), and Debt Ratio (Sobel test=1.178, p=0.000) on firm value, but does not mediate the relationship between Firm Size and firm value (Sobel test=0.325, p=0.683). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 7.9% indicates that the independent and intervening variables explain 7.9% of the variation in firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of solvency ratio, activity ratio, and profitability ratio on the stock prices of oil and gas industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 period. The research method used is quantitative with a purposive sampling technique, involving 20 companies as samples over five years. The independent variables used are Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) to measure solvency, Total Asset Turnover (TATO) to measure activity, and Return on Asset (ROA) to measure profitability, while the dependent variable is stock price. The results show that the activity ratio (TATO) has a significant effect on stock prices, whereas the solvency ratio (DAR) and profitability ratio (ROA) do not have a significant partial effect. However, simultaneously, these three ratios have a significant effect on stock prices. This study provides insights for investors in assessing the financial performance of companies and serves as a reference for companies to enhance their investment attractiveness.

Abstract

Economic growth refers to the increase in the production capacity of a country, measured by the rise in Gross Domestic Product (GDP). When the economy grows, people's purchasing power increases, which encourages further consumption and creates a positive multiplier effect. This study aims to analyze the impact of independent variables (Foreign Direct Investment, Domestic Investment, and Labor) both partially and simultaneously on the dependent variable (Economic Growth) in Indonesia from 2014 to 2023. This research uses time series data on Foreign Direct Investment, Domestic Investment, and Labor over 10 years. Additionally, this study employs multiple linear regression analysis as the analytical tool. The results of this study show that the variables (Foreign Direct Investment, Domestic Investment and Manpower have a positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia. The Foreign Investment variable has a significant effect while the Domestic Investment and Labor variables have no significant effect and simultaneously or together the foreign direct investment, domestic investment and labor variables have a significant effect on economic growth (GDP) in Indonesia for the 2014-2023 period.

Abstract

Legal protection for victims of sexual violence in Bekasi City after the enactment of the Law on Sexual Violence Crimes (UU TPKS) has become a crucial issue in Indonesia's legal system. Prior to UU TPKS, legal protection for victims was weak and inadequate, with regulations focusing more on the rights of perpetrators rather than victims. Therefore, this study aims to answer two main research questions: how legal protection is provided to victims of sexual violence under UU TPKS, and how its implementation is carried out in Bekasi City. This research employs a normative juridical method with a statutory and conceptual approach. The findings indicate that although UU TPKS has strengthened legal protection by granting victims the right to legal assistance, psychosocial recovery, and restitution, its implementation in Bekasi City still faces significant obstacles. These challenges include the lack of regulatory harmonization, weak inter-agency coordination, and limited protection facilities for victims. Therefore, concrete steps are needed, such as improving coordination between institutions, drafting clearer implementing regulations, and enhancing the capacity of law enforcement officers to ensure the effective protection of sexual violence victims
