Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the current employee evaluation system and recommend a more strategic approach model to enhance the competitiveness of PT Suryagita Nusantara Cargo Expedisi Banjarbaru. Based on in-depth interview findings with the HR Manager, Operational Supervisor, and High-Performing Employees, the current evaluation system is concluded to be partial and tactical. While effective for administrative purposes and enforcing basic discipline, the system fails to measure strategic competencies (such as innovation and technology adaptation) and does not explicitly link individual performance to the company's long-term strategic goals. This gap creates structural demotivation among high-performing employees.The main recommendation proposed is a shift to an adjusted Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework, complemented by the measurement of strategic behavioral competencies (Process Innovation and Cross-Functional Collaboration). This model is chosen for its transparent, forward-looking, and outcome-based nature, which directly promotes focus on ambitious and strategic results. Furthermore, it is suggested that evaluation be transformed from an annual process into a mechanism of real-time feedback and continuous coaching. Full integration of OKR results with talent management decisions (promotions and training) is key to making evaluation a strategic implementation instrument. By adopting this strategic approach, PT Suryagita Nusantara can transform its Human Resources from a controlled resource into the main driver of competitive advantage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the most effective form of Human Resource Management (HRM) evaluation strategy innovation and analyze its impact on apparatus productivity improvement at the Banjarmasin City Transportation Agency (Dishub). The study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the Head of Agency, Head of HRM Management Division, and Apparatus Implementers, and analyzed using an interactive model.The results indicate that the most effective form of evaluation innovation is a Hybrid and Continuous Development-Oriented Evaluation System. This innovation is based on three pillars: (1) Strategic Integration (linking assessment to innovative project contributions and using simple 360-degree feedback), (2) Development Focus (transforming feedback into coaching sessions based on agile individual KPIs), and (3) Fairness and Motivation (utilizing frequent non-financial rewards and self-assessment mechanisms).The implementation of this innovation significantly improves apparatus productivity. The productivity increase is achieved through enhanced strategic focus and alignment (shifting from routine output to service outcome), improved technical competence via a fast learning culture, and increased internal motivation and work morale resulting from fair and prompt recognition. Overall, the HRM evaluation innovation serves as a catalyst for realizing a High-Performance Culture within Dishub Kota Banjarmasin..

Abstract

Speech impairments in Children with Special Needs (CSN) necessitate professional, high-quality intervention. This study aims to analyze the service quality gap (SERVQUAL), identify the dominant factors determining parental satisfaction, and measure the overall satisfaction level with the speech therapy program.Method: This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using a cross-sectional survey design. The population consisted of parents with children actively undergoing speech therapy at Clinic X, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires measuring five service quality dimensions. Data analysis included gap analysis, descriptive statistics, and multiple regression analysis.Results: Gap analysis revealed that perceived service quality did not fully meet parental expectations, evidenced by a negative gap in almost all dimensions. The most severe gaps were found in the Empathy and Reliability dimensions. Multiple regression analysis confirmed that Reliability (administrative consistency) and Empathy (emotional support) were the two most dominant and significant factors influencing overall parental satisfaction ($\text{p} < 0.05$). However, the overall parental satisfaction level (aggregate) was categorized as High (90% Satisfied/Very Satisfied).Conclusion: The high overall satisfaction, despite process shortcomings, is explained by the Expectation Disconfirmation Theory, where the positive clinical outcomes observed in the child's development outweigh the deficiencies perceived in the service process. The main recommendation for the clinic is to prioritize improving Reliability through procedural standardization and strengthening Empathy via supportive communication training to achieve Service Quality Excellence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of employee evaluation in supporting strategic Human Resource (HR) planning at the Child Development Clinic in the digital era and to examine the implementation of digital-based evaluation systems in improving HR management effectiveness. As a therapy service provider for children with special needs, the clinic requires professional and consistent human resources capable of delivering services aligned with each child’s developmental needs. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach involving key informants such as the clinic director, therapy coordinator, therapists, HR administrative staff, and parents of patients. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that employee evaluation plays a crucial role in competency mapping, identifying training needs, and developing relevant HR strategies. Performance evaluation also enhances service quality, strengthens objectivity, and promotes therapist professionalism. Moreover, the implementation of a digital evaluation system is perceived to improve data management effectiveness, accelerate assessment processes, and enhance accuracy and transparency. Digital transformation in employee evaluation contributes significantly to long-term HR planning and the improvement of therapy service quality. Therefore, the digitalization of performance evaluation serves as a strategic measure for the clinic to establish a more adaptive, modern, and quality-oriented HR management system.

Abstract

ObjectiveThis study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the employee evaluation system as a strategic instrument in enhancing Human Resource (HR) productivity at Bank Indonesia, Central Kalimantan (BI Kalteng), and to formulate necessary improvement strategies.Method: This descriptive-evaluative research employed a qualitative approach. Primary data was collected through in-depth interviews with the Head of the HR Division, Unit Managers, and executing Employees, utilizing a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used an interactive model (data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing) supported by source triangulation.Findings and Discussion: The findings indicate that the performance evaluation system at BI Kalteng has significantly succeeded as a strategic instrument. This success is confirmed by three factors: Strategic Alignment through the implementation of Management by Objectives (MBO), which directs employee energy towards organizational goals; Increased Performance Focus due to the clarity of work objectives and proactive coaching practices; and a Motivational Mechanism that utilizes evaluation results to close competency gaps and design development programs. This success validates the relevance of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) in the context of a regional central bank.Conclusion and Recommendation: Although successful, the system faces operational constraints (limited managerial time for quality feedback) and objectivity challenges. Therefore, the improvement strategy must shift towards a Developmental Performance Management model. Crucial strategies include: Transition to Continuous Coaching, Enhancing Objectivity through Limited Multisource Feedback, and Explicit Integration of evaluation results with Career Paths and Mandatory Individual Development Plans (IDP). These improvements will make the evaluation system a more potent and sustainable accelerator of HR output.

Abstract

This study aims to deeply examine the intertextual relationship between the Qur'an and Nusantara regional literature, specifically within the cultural and literary context of Riau Malay, which adheres to the philosophy of “Adat Bersandikan Syarak, Syarak Bersandikan Kitabullah” (Customs based on Islamic Law, Islamic Law based on the Qur'an). The Qur'an, as the source of Islamic teachings, has a widespread transformative influence on Muslim civilization, including in language and literary aspects (in line with Surah Ibrahim [14]: 4), and the principle of diversity for mutual acquaintance (Surah Al-Hujurat [49]: 13). Employing a linguistic and intertextual analysis approach, this research reveals how Qur'anic values, linguistic structures, religious symbolism, and moral and spiritual concepts are absorbed, interpreted, and adapted into Riau Malay literary expressions. The findings indicate that the Islamization process in Riau was not merely theological and social but also strongly impacted the cultural transformation and aesthetics of its literature. Universal Islamic values underwent an assimilation process with local Malay wisdom (Surah Al-A‘rāf [7]: 199), resulting in harmonious literary works. Through Riau Malay pantun, gurindam, hikayat, and syair, it is evident how Qur'anic moral messages are subtly conveyed through characteristic stylistic language, narrative structures, and cultural symbols (Surah Al-Hijr [15]: 9). This study confirms the Qur'an's crucial role as the spiritual and aesthetic foundation that shapes the unique identity of Riau Malay literature.

Abstract

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has profoundly influenced multiple aspects of human life. This article explores AI applications across key sectors, including automotive, military, education, healthcare, food industry, and transportation. In the automotive field, AI enhances vehicle maintenance and fault diagnosis efficiency. Within the military, AI contributes to the development of autonomous defense systems such as combat robots and drones. In education, it supports adaptive learning and intelligent teaching robots. In both the food and healthcare industries, AI accelerates analytical processes, ensures quality control, and enables more accurate medical diagnoses. Furthermore, AI plays a crucial role in transportation by advancing autonomous vehicles and environmentally friendly mobility systems. The article concludes that AI has brought significant benefits and innovations to human civilization. However, ethical oversight remains essential to ensure that AI development aligns with human values and contributes positively to a sustainable and intelligent future.

Abstract

This article explores the role of Arabic calligraphy (khat) in supporting maharah al-kitabah as an essential aspect of Arabic language learning. This study employs a library research method by examining books, journals, and relevant literature on calligraphy and Arabic writing skills. The findings show that khat holds an important position in Islamic scholarly and cultural traditions and has developed through various historical periods, resulting in diverse calligraphic styles. In the context of writing skills, khat enhances the accuracy of letter forms, strengthens adherence to writing rules, and refines the aesthetic quality of written Arabic. Thus, khat contributes significantly to improving the quality of Arabic writing both linguistically and artistically, while also supporting the preservation of Islamic artistic heritage.

Abstract

School administration plays a very important role in carrying out the basic functions of Islamic educational institutions. . The purpose of this study is to identify the role of school administration in improving the operational effectiveness and quality of Islamic education. This study uses a library research method, which aims to collect, analyze, and compile information from various literature sources in order to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the topic being studied. The data analysis technique used is descriptive- qualitative. The results of the study show that the role of school administration is very important in improving the operational effectiveness and quality of Islamic education. Good administration is not only about technical management, but also about creating an environment that supports the development of students' morals and spirituality. With effective administration, schools are expected to be able to provide Islamic education that is not only academically qualified, but can also shape students' characters in accordance with Islamic values. It is hoped that this study can be a reference for policy makers and practitioners of Islamic education in formulating better management strategies, so that they can improve the quality of Islamic education as a whole.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in developing critical thinking and collaboration skills of fourth-grade students at MI Plus Al-Makmun Gemarang Madiun. The background of the study stems from the low level of active student involvement in conventional learning, which is still dominated by lecture methods. PBL was chosen because it provides a real-world problem-based learning experience that encourages thinking activities and social interaction. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The focus of the study was directed at the implementation of PBL syntax, including problem orientation, information exploration, group discussions, presentation of results, and reflection. The results showed that the implementation of PBL was able to improve students' critical thinking skills, as seen from their ability to identify problems, analyze data, put forward arguments, and determine solutions independently. In addition, collaboration skills developed through role allocation, open discussions, and mutual assistance activities in groups. The learning process became more meaningful, interactive, and suited to the characteristics of students. Overall, PBL has proven effective for science learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah because it not only strengthens cognitive aspects but also develops 21st-century skills, especially critical thinking, communication, and cooperation.
