Abstract

This study looks at implementation moderation in religion values in the use of loudspeakers at Amal Sholeh Mosque, located within a multicultural community. The primary focus is on the responses and perceptions of both Muslim and non- Muslim residents regarding the use of loudspeakers, as well as the extent to which the principles of religious moderation are reflected in interreligious social relations. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews and field observations. The findings indicate that although the term “Religious Moderation” is not widely recognized by the local community, its core values such as tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence are evident in their daily practices. Nevertheless, complaints persist regarding the direction and volume of the loudspeakers, which are perceived as disturbing. Therefore, it is necessary to disseminate the technical regulations issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and to enhance collective awareness in order to foster a harmonious worship environment without compromising the comfort of surrounding residents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the behavior of fear of missing out in culinary tourism, related to anxiety or fear of missing out on something that is popular. As a result, Tourism Industry Study Program students tend to follow trends, buy goods that are not really needed, or do activities that are actually undesirable, so as not to feel left behind. The qualitative method with a phenomenological approach is used to focus on a deep understanding of the individual's subjective experience of a phenomenon. The data analysis technique used is Interpretative phenomenological analysis, which is a method that focuses on an in-depth exploration of how participants understand their personal experiences. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with informants. Data collected from key informants is more accurate and valid because it is in accordance with the phenomenon experienced directly. The results of the study show a change in fear of missing out behavior towards consumptive behavior, shown by the existence of social media promotions and consumption trends that encourage impulsive behavior and social anxiety. Thus, it is hoped that Tourism Industry Study Program students can face challenges in balancing modern social pressure and social media with values to prioritize life balance and build healthy relationships without relying on social media.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of group counseling services using the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) technique to improve students’ physical self-acceptance. The research employed a Quasi-Experimental approach with a Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. The participants consisted of 16 eighth-grade students of SMP Imelda Medan, divided into two groups: 8 students in the experimental group and 8 students in the control group, selected using purposive sampling. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates that group counseling using the ACT technique is effective in improving students' physical self-acceptance. The average pre-test score in the experimental group was 79.13, which increased to 102.75 in the post-test. Meanwhile, the control group’s pre-test average was 78.25 and post-test average was 85.75. The increase in post-test scores indicates a significant improvement in physical self-acceptance
