Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of School Based Manajement (SBM) in effort to increase student achievement at Unggulan 'Aisyiyah Bantul, Yoggyakarta and the type of study is qualitative. The data collection technique used observation, documenttation and indeep interview. The respondents of the interview were the shcool principal, vice-principals, teacher, and representatives of parents. Data analysis technique was conducted by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusion. The validity of the data was obtained by doing triangulation, discussion, and checking members. The result of this study showes that the implementation of SBM at SD Unggulan 'Aisyiyah Bantul is effective through the implementation of six management components, that is self-evaluation, formulating vision/mission/goal, planning, application, evaluation and reporting. It is also appropriate to the essence of SBM, that is otonomy, flexibility, participation, transparancy, and accountability.

Abstract

The research is about Teaching English with cooperative learning of Picture and Picture model which the goal is to increase the writing ability of grammar Past Tense and Present Perfect. The subject of this research are 33 students of class X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Bantul. The research was done from December 2018 to March 2019. The procedure of this research was done with two cycles. The steps of this research are planning, action and reflection. The data was gotten from observation, questionnaire, interview and writing practice of Past Tense and Present Perfect. The result of this research show that students writing increase from 73% to 97%. Based on questionnaire of students' response of the cooperative learning model of type Picture and Picture, the result increase from 92% to 93%. They do agree and strongly agree with this model because they can understand and remember the lesson easily, interact and discuss with their friend in group, the learning process becomes fun, interesting and not boring. Cooperative learning of Picture and Picture model can improve the writing ability of grammar, particularly for Past Tense and Present Perfect. This model is beneficial for students so that students will be interested to study grammar. This kind of teaching is very suitable to be used for teacher to teach grammar Past Tense and Present Perfect.

Abstract

To decrease the number of drug abuse which is getting more uncontrolled in Yogyakarta, all parties need to participate to cope with this problem. Board of National Narcotics has attempted to stop the growing of drug abuse by doing various efforts but the efforts are still the passive ones. Therefore, teachers need a suitable strategy to help avoid drug abuse among students.This paper will reveal the method Window Shopping through the task of making a poster to avoid the spread of narcotics and to build characters among students in teaching and learning activity of sociology. This method is used because it can arouse the active participation of students in class with the lesson material of avoiding the spread of narcotics in school. The Poster is made by the students so that they will be active to search for various sources, and this activity will produce products of posters that will be attached to the school walls. This method can also build and grow character values (creative, collaborate, communication and critical thinking).This kind of character education is very important to do in society to improve the quality of our nation and country

Abstract

The concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0 has been applied by several tourist destinations in the world to attract tourist visits. The indicators used are technology change, political legal change, economic change, socio-culture change and Market change. The number of tourist attractions popping up in Yogyakarta encourage managers to set the right strategies and plans so that the tourist attraction of the Mangunan Orchard is increasingly in demand. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0 on the tourist attraction of the Mangunan Orchard, in order to attract tourist visits. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach combined with the concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0 analysis. Data collection in this study used in-depth interviews, observation, documentary methods, visual material methods, and literature study. The subjects of this study were several people who came from the Department of Agriculture, Food, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the Department of Tourism, Managers in the field, as well as several tourists who visited the Tourist attraction of Mangunan Orchard. The stage of data processing and analysis in this study use an interactive analysis model, including data transcription, data reduction, data coding and categorization, as well as drawing conclusions.Based on research that has been done, the results obtained that the tourist attraction of the Mangunan Orchard is not in accordance with the concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0. This is because the attributes used: technology change, political legal change, economic change, socio-culture change and Market change have not been fully applied. With these results, the right strategies and programs are needed in applying the concept to attract tourist visits.

Abstract

For more than decade, agriculutre lands in the Kasihan Subdistrict were affected by the development of Yogyakarta City. Those trends are mainly caused by their location which are directly facing thecity and the function of Kasihan Subdistrict as a Yogyakarta Urban Area (Kawasan Perkotaan Yogyakarta). Besides, the farmers of Kasihan Subdistrict are in their old age, making them more vulnerable to the landuse change it self. Hence it is important to understand the trend of the landuse changeand its impact to the agriculture land in the Kasihan Subdistrict.This research used deductive approach which its variables are formulated from the recent studies. In addition,overlay analysis was used for the landsat and bingmap multi temporal imagery data. The results of the overlay then were being compared to the social economic data of the Kasihan Subdistrict such as gross domestic regional bruto, farmer data, local borderline map, and any relevant data for further analysis.The results of the analysis show that landuse change grow faster in the rural area rather than in the cities. Bangunjiwo village are the most affected to the changes even tough in spacial zoning regulation, it isn't stated as an urban area. As the changes took place in productive land, local government need to make an affirmative program for the farmers so that the farmers have reasons and motivation to continue their farming within the city. Such programs will prevent the landuse changes to grow wide
