Abstract

Teak (Tectona grandis) is one type of plant that has the ability to adapt in dry climates such as in NTT. The availability of nutrients in the soil, especially under teak stands in forest areas is strongly influenced by the amount of organic matter in the form of litter that falls to the forest floor and the rate of decomposition of this type of litter. The research, which was conducted in Amabi Oefeto sub-district, Kupang Regency, which is under the management of KPH Kupang Regency, aims to determine the rate of decomposition and the content of macronutrients under teak stands. The results showed that the rate of decomposition of litter under teak stands on the 30th day of sampling was 0.072 gram/day. As for the content of macro nutrients based on the criteria for assessing the chemical properties of soil (1983), C organic under Teak (Tectona grandis) stands was included in the low criteria, which is worth 1.135%, total N was included in the medium criteria, which was 0.5%, total P was included in the criteria. very high, which is 90.326 mg/100 g of soil, available P is included in the very high criteria, which is worth 35.872 ppm and K-dd is included in the high criteria, which is 0.92 me/100 g of soil.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Oematnunu Village, West Kupang District, Kupang Regency. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of rice straw mulch dose on the growth and yield of mustard (Brassica juncea L. ) and to get the right dose of rice straw mulch that can provide the best growth and yield of mustard plants. This study is a single factor experiment designed in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments in the form of doses of rice straw mulch. Each treatment combination was repeated 6 (six) times so that a total of 30 experimental units were obtained. The results showed that 1). The dose of rice straw mulch treatment had a very significant effect on the height of the mustard plant, the increase in the number of leaves, the fresh gross weight of the mustard plant and the net weight of the mustard plant. Single factor treatment separately for each single factor treatment level of rice straw mulch dosage had a significant and very significant effect on most of the observation variables, in the form of increase in plant height, increase in number of leaves, fresh gross weight of mustard plants and net weight of mustard plants. 2). The interaction treatment level of dose of rice straw mulch of 20 tons/ha or equivalent to 200 grams/polybag is the best interaction treatment on plant height, number of leaves, total fresh gross weight of mustard plant and total net weight of mustard plant, each of which is plant height. 40.62 cm, the number of leaves 8.67 strands, the total plant fresh weight was 474.78 grams and the total plant net weight was 422.45 grams.

Abstract

This research was carried out in Oematnunu Village, West Kupang District, Kupang Regency and the study was carried out from February to April 2022. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the dose of cow dung manure and inorganic NPK on the growth and yield of mustard plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the dose combination of cow dung manure and inorganic NPK fertilizer that could provide the best growth and yield of mustard plants. This study is a single factor experiment designed in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments in the form of doses of rice straw mulch. Each treatment combination was repeated 6 (six) times so that a total of 30 experimental units were obtained. The results showed that 1). The combination of cow dung manure and inorganic NPK had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, total fresh weight, and total net weight of mustard plants. 2). The combination treatment of manure dose of 5 tons/ha and NPK 300 kg/ha, combination dose of 10 tons/ha and NPK 200 kg/ha, and 400 kg/ha NPK fertilizer gave the best results on plant height, number of leaves, total fresh gross weight of mustard plant, and total net weight of mustard plant.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the biophysical aspects and their impact on the community around the planned area of the Rotiklot dam in Fatuketi Village, Kakuluk Mesak District, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative methods with the data sources used in this study. The study data is divided into two types of data, namely, primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained directly from the field through measurements, observations, calculations, notes and interviews with related parties related to the object being studied. Primary data obtained include stand data (diameter and height), area based on sample plots made and socio-economic data and community perceptions obtained through interviews. The results of the field study show that the location of the planned Rotiklot dam construction in Fatuketi Village, Kakuluk Mesak District, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province which is indicated to be included in the Indicative Map of Delaying the Granting of New Permits for forest use. The potential of natural resources available in the area of the planned Rotiklot dam construction area is generally not too large, considering that the condition of the land around the planned dam construction area is classified as unfavorable for agricultural development, the rice fields around the upstream area of the Rotiklot Dam development plan only utilize rainfed rice fields, very dry conditions during the dry season make the rice fields unusable due to a lack of water supply. Vegetation/coverage in the area of the Rotiklot Dam construction in Fatuketi Village, Kakuluk Mesak District, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, is dominated by forest Bamboo Bambusa sp), Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus deglupta), Red wood (Pterocarpus cortexs), Tamarind (Tamarindus Sp), Schleichera (Schleichera oleosa), Sea poison tree (Barringtonia asiatica), Cassod tree (Cassia siamea), Kuteera-Gum (Acasia leucophloeae), Indian jujube (Zyzyphus mauritiana), Leucaena leucocephala, Gebang palm (Corypha utan Lam), Bauhinia trees (Bauhinia purpure)
