Abstract

This study was conducted to determine how the quality of service at PT Pos Indonesia branch of South Barito and what efforts are conducted by PT Pos Indonesia branch of South Barito to improve the quality of service to the community . Based on these problems ,the purpose of the study was to describe and analyze the quality of service at PT Pos Indonesia branch of South Barito and the efforts of PT Pos Indonesia to maximize service to the community. The focus of research on the quality of financial services is measured based on five dimensions of service quality that is reability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangibles and the efforts undertaken by PT Pos Indonesia South Barito branch in maximizing service to the community. This type of research is qualitative research and data collection techniques performed by the method of observation , interviews , and documentation. Subjects of this study were employees of PT Pos Indonesia branch of South Barito and public users of financial services branch of PT Pos Indonesia South Barito . Mechanical analysis of data from this study is data collection , data reduction , data presentation , and conclusion and verification Conclusions drawn or obtained from this study indicate that the quality of service of PT Pos Indonesia Branch South Barito still not up to optimum . It can be inferred from the existence of public complaints as users of services provided related services and facilities are incomplete and inadequate .

Abstract

The objective of the research was to describe and to analyze the evaluation on the Regional Regulation No. 07/2003 on Handling and Forestalling Forest and Land Fire in Palangka Raya, based on the Evaluation Theory on Policy of William Dunn, viewed from effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equality, responsiveness, and accuracy, along with reinforcing and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the policy. Forest and land fire has become one of the disasters occurred in Palangka Raya. It usually occurs in every dry season because in this season the people in Palangka Raya have an opportunity to clear new land. In clearing new land, people usually burn the land in order to save money and energy. They do it without getting permission from the government; therefore the government issues the Regional Regulation No. 07/2003 on Forestalling and Handling Forest and Land Fire. The implementation of this Regulation is handed down to the Forestry and Plantation Service of Palangka Raya and collaborates with villages in Palangka Raya. The research used descriptive qualitative method. It was conducted at the Forestry and Plantation Service Office of Palangka Raya. Primary data were obtained from the Forestry and Plantation Service Office of Palangka Raya (now it is the Environment and Forestry Service Office) of Palangka Raya and Kelurahan Bukit Tunggal. Secondary data were RT 04 RW 14 at Kelurahan Bukit Tunggal. The gathered data were analyzed by using Miles Huberman model based on data reduction, display data, and conclusion drawing/verification.The result of the research showed that the implementation of the Regional Regulation No. 07/2003 on Forestalling and Handling Forest and Land Fire in Pakangka Raya was not only performed by the Provincial Government, in this case the Forestry and Plantation Service Office of Palangka Raya, but also by collaborating with Villages in Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The problem in Murung Subdistrict is seen from the facilities and infrastructure, which will cause service to the community to be hampered and not maximal, so that the service in the sub-district is still complained by the community. For this reason, the purpose of service can truly be achieved as expected by the village community, so what must be considered is the presence of government officials who have adequate quality. The problem formula in this study is: "efforts to increase the ability of the sub-district apparatus in carrying out the tasks of murung sub-district administration in murung raya" The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of sub-district officials to serve their communities, and primary data obtained from interviewees by conducting interviews and direct observation. The resource persons meant were: (1). Head of sub-district head (2). Secretary of camat (3). District officials 3 people (4). Some people. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type or method. The technique of data collection is done by interviewing, documenting, and observing, in addition to the data analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the performance of employees in the sub-district in serving the community in the office of the subdistrict of Muruk, the district of Murung Raya, had not yet run optimally. So that the quality of services still needs to be improved more carefully so this will further improve their performance in serving the community, so that they can complete their tasks on time.

Abstract

Empowerment is a strategy in improving one's abilities and capacity to improve their lives to achieve prosperity through various potentials they have. Especially in the process of women's empowerment which is a strategy to increase the potential of women and increase the role of women in both the public and domestic domains. The existence of this Home Industry is one way for women to be directly involved in the empowerment process. The theory used is the theory of empowerment according to Nurshabani Katjasangkana with indicators namely access, participation, control and benefits. The research was conducted at the Home Industry souvenirs from processed African catfish in Sigi Village, Kahayan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. And test the validity of the data using triangulation.The results of this study are that women's empowerment through the Home Industry group in increasing the income of the family economy study of processing of souvenirs from African catfish has been able to become a means for the Sigi Village community to carry out empowerment activities, so that this can improve family welfare. Then the supporting factors in the Home Industry activities consist of the existence of human resources, the existence of capital owned, the existence of good cooperation and the existence of facilities and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factor is marketing products that are still on a small scale.

Abstract

Pembangunan mula-mula dipakai dalam arti pertumbuhan ekonomi. Sebuah masyarakat dinilai berhasil melaksanakan pembangunan, bila pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat tersebut cukup tinggi. Dengan demikian, yang diukur adalah produktivitas masyarakat atau produktivitas negara setiap tahunnya. Dalam setiap pembangunan itu terdapat campur tangan politik atau strategi-strategi/aliran tertentu yang digunakan dalam konteks pembangunan mencapai sasarannya dapat juga disebut Politik Pembangunan. Smart city adalah konsep kota masa depan yang ingin diwujudkan secara nasional agar terwujud kota keberlanjutan yang didukung oleh kapasitas daya saing yang memadai. Kota Palangka Raya adalah salah satu dari provinsi di Indonesia yang melaksanakan pembangunan daerah yang salah satunya memiliki tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam pembangunan yaitu Kota dan Pemukiman yang Berkelanjutan. Dari latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan bagaimana peran Politik Pembangunan di Kota Palangka Raya menuju Smart City Kota Palangka Raya. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan atau bahan pustaka. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan peran Politik Pembangunan di Kota Palangka Raya menuju Smart City Kota Palangka Raya.
