Abstract

The Israel-Palestine conflict is a longstanding issue, deeply rooted in decades of history, religion, politics, and resource disputes. This conflict has resulted in numerous military confrontations, with over 35,000 Palestinians losing their lives since October 7, 2023. Despite peace efforts such as the Oslo Accords, achieving lasting peace requires a significant political commitment. In response, Palestinian solidarity movements—through protests, humanitarian aid, and economic boycotts targeting Israel—seek justice and the restoration of land rights. This study examines boycotting Israeli-related products and services as a global solidarity action in opposition to Israel’s war crimes and oppression of Palestinians. Drawing on Social Identity Theory (SIT) by Henri Tajfel and John Turner, it illustrates how individual identities are shaped not only by personal traits but also by belonging to social groups with shared values and objectives. The boycott fosters a collective identity committed to justice. Furthermore, social media amplifies global awareness, mobilizing individuals and organizations to apply economic pressure on Israel to end its Zionist atrocities

The rapid advancement of Information Technology (IT) has presented challenges and opportunities for higher education institutions in managing academic administrative processes. Academic portals have become essential in supporting various activities, such as enrollment, grade submission, and student communication. However, without proper optimization, these portals often face issues like slow response times, user difficulties, and inadequate features. This study aims to explore how IT can be optimized to enhance the operational efficiency of academic portals, focusing on higher education institutions in South Tangerang. Using a qualitative approach, this research involves interviews with portal administrators, students, and lecturers, as well as case studies at several universities in the region. The findings indicate that integrating advanced IT solutions significantly improves the speed, usability, and overall efficiency of academic portals. Key factors include enhanced server performance, automated processes, and improved user interface design. Optimizing IT in academic portals can lead to substantial gains in operational efficiency, reduce administrative workload, and improve user satisfaction. Abstract

The number of the world's population continues to increase every year in line with the increasing rate of economic growth, the rate of population growth, and the rapid development of the industrial sector. So that an increase in energy demand is inevitable. Human energy needs are obtained from the conversion of fossil energy sources, either directly or indirectly, which can have a negative impact on the environment and the health of living things and inefficiencies. The burning of fossil energy sources causes air pollution (acid rain, smog and global warming) where acid rain causes soil and waters (lakes and rivers) to become acidic. For agriculture and forests, the acidity of the soil will affect the growth of crop production. In the waters, acid rain will cause disturbances for living things in it. So that the number of human activities in increasing economic growth becomes more and has an impact on the environment, especially in the use of energy sources for the needs of households, industries and so on with the increasing use of fossil energy causing various problems, especially for the environment which uses a lot of fossil energy. This study generally aims to (1) Determine the form of implementation of sustainable development policies (2) Factors that inhibit and support the implementation of sustainable development policies. This research was conducted with descriptive qualitative research. Where in this study using triangulation using an inductive method, the results of qualitative research emphasize more on meaning than generalization. With the results of the study, fossil energy consumption has a big impact on the environment, especially through greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Sustainable economics emphasizes the importance of meeting today's needs without sacrificing the capabilities of future generations. And with public awareness of the impact of fossil energy consumption is critical in the transition to a sustainable economy. And although there are many opportunities, there are several challenges that need to be faced in implementing a sustainable economy on fossil energy consumption. So the researcher suggested increasing education and awareness and bureaucratic reform.

Abstract

Competition between tahfizh schools in Indonesia is getting tighter, especially with the emergence of various tahfizh institutions for toddlers and children. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy used by Markaz Tahfizh Toddlers and Children (MATABA) Daarul Huffazh in Serang Banten in increasing the number of students. The purpose of this research is to analyze MATABA's marketing strategy, how segmentation and positioning are carried out, as well as the obstacles faced in the marketing process. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document review. The results of the research by analyzing the ongoing marketing strategy, namely direct and indirect marketing strategies, STP and 7P marketing mix show that MATABA's marketing strategy is unique through the Tabarak and Tahsin Tilawati tahfidz methods with learning program innovations designed by the curriculum team which is a differentiation so that it has its own attractiveness, even though there is no special marketing team that is an obstacle in expanding Promotional reach. Customers are generally satisfied with the services and programs offered by MATABA, but a more structured marketing strategy is needed to increase the number of students on a sustainable basis.
