<![CDATA[Impaired cognitive function is a deterioration of ability to remember and memory that can affect the elderly routine activities. Reminiscence is one method of expressing feelings that will trigger the emergence of self-confidence and feelings of respect of the elderly which has an impact on the emergence of positive coping that affects the perception and emotions of the elderly in facing a problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reminiscence therapy on cognitive level of the elderly at Wisma Lansia Taman Bodhi Asri. The type of research is quasy experiment with pretest-postest research design with control group design in which only the intervented group was given treatment. The population of this study were 65 elderly people. The sample of this study were 39 elderly people. The Sampling Technique used purposive sampling technique. The Data from the results of the study used the Paired sample T test. The results showed that the elderly who got intervene by reminiscence therapy group increased significantly (P value = 0.000). This shows that Ho was rejected, which means that there was an effect of reminiscence therapy on the cognitive level of the elderly at Wisma Lansia Taman Bodhi Asri. While there was no change in the control group used an independent t test with (P value = 0.753). This therapy was recommended as one of the therapies that can be done in an effort to maintain cognitive levels in the elderly.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to develop the literacy skills of elementary school students through Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning based on puzzle games. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to analyze and describe the improvement in students' literacy skills after the implementation of puzzle-based learning media. The subjects of the study were fifth-grade students at an elementary school in Medan. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the use of puzzle games in IPAS learning can improve students' literacy skills, particularly in reading, understanding concepts, and problem-solving. Students demonstrated increased interest and motivation in learning, as well as the ability to think critically and creatively. Additionally, interactions among students during the puzzle games also contributed to the development of social skills and cooperation. The conclusion of this study is that IPAS learning based on puzzle games is an effective method to enhance elementary school students' literacy skills. It is hoped that the results of this study can serve as a reference for teachers and educators in developing innovative and enjoyable learning strategies.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to improve Children Moral Development Aged 5 - 6 Years through Storytelling Method at Bakti Private Kindergarten, Medan Petisah. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a quantitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were children group B aged 5 - 6 years, totaling 9 children. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study it was found that there was an increase in children's moral development through the storytelling method of children group B at Bakti Private Kindergarten Medan Petisah in Academic Years of 2022/2023. This can be proven from the moral development of children in the pre-cycle was 27.6%, then in the first cycle was 48.78% and increased to 89.56% in the second cycle. So it can be concluded that the Storytelling Method Improving Children Moral Development Aged 5 - 6 Years in Bakti Private Kindergarten Medan Petisah.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the effect of marketing costs and salaries on company profits, both partially and simultaneously on capital structure. The research design used is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were employees and consumers of PT. Aeon Delight Indonesia as many as 127 respondents. The sample in this study was 96 respondents. Data analysis used instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression statistical tests, hypothesis tests, correlation and determination tests. The research results show that marketing costs influence company profits, employee salaries influence company profits and company costs and employee salaries simultaneously influence company profits.]]>

<![CDATA[Accounting information is a system that is generally computer-based and a method for tracking accounting activities in relation to information technology resources. Based on data published by UMKM Medan Belawan. Accounting information affects the development of UMKM for micro, small and medium enterprises that use accounting information. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of information technology, accounting knowledge, educational background, business age, and business scale on the use of accounting information in micro, small and medium enterprises in Medan Belawan 2019-2023. The research method uses quantitative descriptive. Data was taken from 96 UMKM in Medan Belawan sub-district that met the sample assessment criteria. The results of this study state that the use of information technology, accounting knowledge, educational background, business age, and business scale affect the use of accounting information.]]>

<![CDATA[Parking tax compliance is a taxpayer's activity in implementing applicable tax provisions. Compliant Taxpayers are Taxpayers who comply with their tax obligations in accordance with the provisions of the Legislative Regulations (Siti Kurnia Rahayau, 2017). Based on data published by the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency Office, the higher the level of parking tax compliance, the higher the level of parking tax revenue which is supported by the information technology system and modernization of the parking tax revenue system. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of information technology, modernization of the parking tax revenue system on parking tax compliance at the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses quantitative methods with primary data from the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency. The sampling method in this research uses the Probability Sampling method for the period 2017 to 2022, and has met the sample fulfillment criteria. The research results show that information technology and modernization of the parking tax revenue system have an influence on parking tax compliance.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of pop up book media on students’ reading comprehension ability of third grade students at State Elementary School 060838 Medan Petisah in academic year of 2023/2024. This research is quantitative with experimental methods. The population in this study were third grade students, with a total of 26 students. The data collection techniques were carried out through tests, observations and documentation. The data were analyzed using t-test formula. Based on the t-test table, the results of the Sig (2-tailed) value for the PreTest and Post Test values are 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of pop up book media on students’ reading comprehension ability of third grade students at State Elementary School 060838 Medan Petisah in academic year of 2023/2024.]]>

<![CDATA[Childbirth is a series of processes that end with the expulsion of the product of conception by the mother. If the pushing technique is not done correctly, perineal rupture occurs. Perineal rupture is an incident of tearing of the perineal muscles during the labor process. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about pushing techniques and perineal rupture during labor at the Hamparan Perak Health Center. The design of this study was an analytical survey with a cross-sectional study approach. The research process was carried out in June-August 2024 at the Hamparan Perak Health Center, with a population of 33 mothers giving birth with normal delivery and a sample of total sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria with a sample size of 33 respondents. The results showed that the level of knowledge was poor with perineal rupture as many as 21 respondents (63.6%) and good knowledge with perineal rupture as many as 12 respondents (36.4%). The results of the Chi-Square test obtained a p value = 0.001 which means p is smaller than the value of α = 0.05 so that Ha is accepted which means there is a relationship between maternal knowledge about the technique of pushing and perineal rupture during childbirth at the Hamparan Perak Health Center. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between maternal knowledge about the technique of pushing and perineal rupture during childbirth so that it is expected that every health worker, especially midwives, continue to improve their knowledge of the technique of pushing during childbirth.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract Patient non-compliance with the provisions and duration of regular treatment to achieve healing as a result of low levels of community knowledge. The healing process of tuberculosis patients is quickly realized, if there is cooperation between patients and their families with health service providers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance with taking anti-tuberculosis drugs in TB patients at the Buhit Health Center, Samosir District. The population in this study were all pulmonary TB patients and the sample was a total population of 56 respondents. The data obtained using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire were then processed and analyzed using the chi-square statistical test. Based on the results of the study, it showed that 1) the level of knowledge of tuberculosis patients was mostly good knowledge at 57.1%, 2) Compliance with taking medication in tuberculosis patients was 50% each, 3) there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance with taking anti-tuberculosis drugs. From the results of this study, it is hoped that patients will be quick and avoid complications from the disease they suffer from, so pulmonary TB patients are expected to always comply with the recommendations given by doctors or other officers and also maintain a healthy lifestyle.]]>

<![CDATA[Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that can cause various complications, one of which is anemia. Anemia is charaterized by a decrease in hemoglobin levels, a protein in red blood cells thet gives blood its red color. This decrease in hemoglobin levels in tuberculosis patients can be caused by poor nutrional status. The aim of this study was to determine the hemoglobin levels in pulmonary tuberculosis patients at the UPTD Special Paru Hospital of North Sumatera Province. This descriptive study aimed to describe the hemoglobin levels in pulmonary tuberculosis patients who met the petermined sample criteria. A total of 20 pulmonary tuberculosis patients who underwent hemoglobin examination were random selected. Hemoglobin examination was performed using a hematology analyzer. The result showed that 9 patients (45%) had hemoglobin levels below normal values, while 11 patiens (55%) had normal hemoglobin levels. As for the conclusion of this study,most new TB sufferers are found with normal HB levels. The advice is that all those with lung Tuberculosis should do a complete examination so that the sufferer can know his body health and maintain a healthy pattern of life.]]>
