Abstract

The ability to recognize number symbols is one of the abilities that early childhood needs to possess. the ability to recognize number symbols can be improved through learning media, one of which is using number card media. Number card media used in number symbol recognition activities. This study aims to describe and see the influence of number card media on the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4-5 years. The type of research used is a quantitative descriptive survey with a technique that accommodates data through distribution via google forms. The analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. Based on result of the calculation of the survey data, 66% of the 30 respondents indicated that number card media is suitable for use as a medium to improve the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4-5 years. Based on data processing, it can be concluded that number card media can stimulate the ability to recognize number symbols 1-10 in children aged 4-5 years.   Keywords: Number Cards, Number Symbols, Early Childhood

Abstract

The demonstration method is a teaching method using demonstrations to clarify an understanding or to show how a particular formation process works. This research is descriptive qualitative research. This case study descriptive research method aims to learn more and describe the conditions that occur in the field. This research is conduct at Permata Bunda Kindergarten in Surabaya. This research aims to describe the results of applying the demonstration method to the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years at Permata Bunda Kindergarten Surabaya. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the reduction in the application of the riot method can create a learning atmosphere that is not conducive, so it greatly affects children's skills. The impact of the method on children can be seen from the results of learning activities. The results of the study stated that the application of the demonstration method provided by the teacher which included planning, processes, and activities to train fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years at Permata Bunda Kindergarten Surabaya requires a bonded unity between the various elements.   Keywords: Demonstration Method; Fine Motor

Abstract

Language skills are one of the abilities developed in early childhood education. This research is motivated by the low language skills of children at the school. This study aims to determine the effect of learning media with picture books on children's language skills. This research used a quantitative approach with the type of pre-experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data technique used a non-parametric statistical level test using Wilcoxon with the formula t count <t table. If tcount <ttable, this research is significant. The results of the Wilcoxon test analysis obtained tcount = 0 <ttable = 35. If the tcount <ttable with a significant level of 5%, namely 0 <35, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be denied that the picture book media has an effect on the language of group B children at TK Tadika Puri Surabaya.   Keywords: Picture Book Media; Language Skills; Early Childhood

Abstract

atriarchal culture is a culture that is still closely held by the Indonesian people, society in a patriarchal culture see the position of men as higher than women with all the domination and stigma of masculinity attached. However, the existence of a patriarchal culture does not always benefit men and harm women. With all the stigma of masculinity that exists, men receive a heavy burden because men tend not to have gaps. A case of sexual violence and bullying emerged to the public at the end of 2021 after the story went viral on social media. Victims share stories of harassment and bullying perpetrated by fellow male perpetrators who also worked at the central KPI office in 2015. In this study, the researchers aimed to analyze how large the violence number against men is and to reveal the emotional, physical, and mental burdens possessed by men. Men for the stigma they receive. the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with interview data collection techniques conducted on 9 male respondents aged 19-22 years. This study also uses the theory of social solidarity by Emile Durkheim. Additional data is also needed and obtained from literature sources in national journals, international journals, and local news articles. The data analysis technique uses analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman, namely interactive data analysis techniques through 4 stages: 1) data collection stages, 2)reduction stages, 3) data presentation stage, and 4) conclusion drawing stage. The result of the study prove that very few men who experience domestic violence or sexual violence report out of shame, victim of violence and bullying from the central KPI also feel the same way. The victim receives a lot of burdens, especially having to bear the stereotype as a man, husband, and father where he has to be a strong individual. Interviews prove that men feel pressured by the stigma of masculinity in the community, so they feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their immediate environment, such as family or close friends.     Keywords: Sexual Violence; Bullying; Masculinity Stigma

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap penanganan korban kekerasan seksual, karena kekerasan seksual terhadap anak saat ini menunjukkan angka kejadian yang terus meningkat, salah satunya terjadi di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, kekerasan seksual tersebut meliputi tindakan pencabulan, pemerkosaan dan persetubuhan yang sebagian besar dilakukan oleh orang orang terdekat korban, dampak kekerasan seksual tersebut tidak hanya dialami oleh korban namun juga keluarganya. Metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah studi kasus dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam dan observasi, sehingga menghasilkan satu temuan bahwa penanganan yang dilakukan pada anak korban kekerasan seksual haruslah komprehensif dengan tetap memperhatikan hak-hak anak yang meliputi pendampingan hukum, pendampingan psikologis, pendampingan medis dan pendampingan sosial jika dibutuhkan, dengan adanya pendampingan tersebut diharapkan anak korban kekerasan seksual dapat mengatasi berbagai persoalan yang dihadapinya dan tetap mendapatkan hak haknya sebagai anak- anak.
