Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the largest group of economic actors in Indonesia's economy and have proven to be a safety valve for the national economy during crises. Besides being the sector with the greatest contribution to national development, MSMEs also create significant job opportunities for the domestic workforce, thus helping to reduce unemployment. This study aims to determine how service quality, facilities, and price influence customer satisfaction at Estetica Belle Salon, both simultaneously and partially. The sampling method used in this research is Slovin's formula, resulting in 100 respondents. The data analysis technique employed in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, including instrument testing and classical assumption tests beforehand. This research data uses quantitative data by collecting data questionnaires. This research shows that facility service quality and price have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction simultaneously. This shows that Quality has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Facilities have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Abstract

Margoluwih Village is a village located in Seyegan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta which has 14 hamlets and has potential in the form of agriculture, culture, culinary, and tourism potential. This village is known for its agricultural tourism with a method of combining rice and fish cultivation called Mina Padi, which has been recognized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) since 2015 and has been used as a model for agricultural management in the Asia Pacific. However, since 2019, the intensity and appeal of mina padi tourism have decreased. This is due to the lack of knowledge and skills of the community in Margoluwih Village in managing the potential of mina padi tourism, as well as the lack of regeneration of mina padi tourism village managers, then the minimal use of digital technology for branding and marketing of tourist villages through social media, the absence of expansion of partnerships with other parties for the development and sustainability of tourism programs, and the absence of regeneration of mina padi tourism managers in Margoluwih Village. Based on the results of environmental observations and interviews, therefore UKM KPM UMY, the Margoluwih Village Government, and the local community collaborated to optimize the potential of rice-fish cultivation in order to strengthen the branding of rice-fish tourism by using the Sustainable Tourism method, namely developing a tourism concept that can provide long-term impacts, both on the environment, social, culture, and economy for the present and future for all local communities and tourists who visit.

Abstract

This research aims to design a regenerative tourism model in Brastagi District by integrating local wisdom values, agroecotourism practices, and community-based conservation approaches. The main problem raised is the lack of a tourism governance model that is able to answer the need to comprehensively improve socio- ecological conditions in mountainous agroecological areas. This research uses an exploratory qualitative method with a participatory case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, focus group discussions, and document studies analyzed using grounded theory techniques. The results of the study show that local values such as customary deliberation and mutual cooperation play a role as the foundation of inclusive governance, while agroecological practices and customary forest conservation can be used as educational and ecological tourism attractions. The conceptual model built reflects the integration of social, agricultural, and natural systems that support each other in creating tourist destinations that are not only sustainable but also able to regenerate the environment and improve the welfare of local communities. The conclusion of the study states that regenerative tourism can be a strategic approach in designing a more equitable and resilient tourism future in rural areas. These findings open up space for the replication of the model in other regional contexts with similar characteristics and serve as the basis for policy advocacy and the development of locally-based regenerative tourism success indicators.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the main pillars of economic growth in various countries, including Indonesia. To improve the competitiveness and sustainability of tourism destinations, effective management is a crucial aspect to consider. One of the key elements that can support this effectiveness is the optimal application of accounting. Accounting plays a role not only as a tool for recording financial transactions but also as a provider of relevant information for planning, controlling, and evaluating the performance of tourist destinations. This study aims to investigate how optimizing the role of accounting can enhance the effectiveness of tourism destination management. The method used in this study is a literature review, which involves examining various sources of literature, including scientific journals, books, and related research reports. The study's results demonstrate that integrating financial accounting, managerial accounting, and cost accounting can enhance the management of tourism destinations, improve resource utilization efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. Thus, optimizing the role of accounting significantly contributes to increasing the effectiveness of tourism destination management and is recommended as the primary focus in developing a sustainable tourism sector.

Abstract

Ubud, Bali, is known as one of the leading tourist destinations in Indonesia that implements the principle of sustainability in its development. In addition to its natural beauty, which includes terraced rice fields and tropical forests, Ubud is also the centre of Balinese art, culture, and spirituality. This uniqueness is reinforced by the active involvement of local communities in tourism management and a commitment to preserving culture and the environment. The principles of sustainable tourism in Ubud align with the local philosophy of Tri Hita Karana and can be evaluated against international standards, such as those set by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). GSTC has developed criteria that cover four main pillars: destination management, socio-economic impact, cultural preservation, and environmental protection. This article aims to analyze tourism management in Ubud based on the GSTC criteria, utilizing a SWOT analysis approach. Through this analysis, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by Ubud in implementing sustainable tourism can be identified, as well as strategic recommendations for future destination development.
