Abstract

Physical motor development is an important factor in the overall development of an individual, therefore teachers are able to improve children's gross motor skills by doing various activities that can stimulate and develop gross motor skills. This study aims to reveal the role of traditional games to improve children's gross motor skills. The subjects of this study were 14 students aged 5-6 years consisting of 7 boys and 7 girls. The methodology in this study used classroom action research which included four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection carried out in two cycles. The results of this study concluded that the gross motor skills of early childhood can be developed through traditional rubber jump rope games by fulfilling several indicators, namely children are able to maintain body balance, can maintain body strength while playing, and can play agilely.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to find out if there is an improvement in cognitive abilities through color media in children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Bunda Pertiwi Prefecture of Tanara. (2) To find out how the color media can enhance cognitive abilities in kids aged 4 - 5 years in Paud Bunda Partiwi prefecture.This research is Class Action Research. The classroom action research (PTK) in English is often called Classroom Action Research. The study was conducted in May 2024 with children aged 4-5 years of age, consisting of 15 children, 9 boys, 5 girls. The study of class action is carried out over two cycles namely cycle I and cycle II. Data collection methods are performed by oral tests, observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawings.The improvement in the cognitive ability of the child can be seen from the initial condition (pre-cycle), cycle and cycle II. In the early condition the presentation of the improvement of the cognitive ability of a child with the category developing according to expectation (BSH) and developing very well (BSB) was at a presentation of 6.67% or 1 child. In cycle I, the increase in the cognitive capacity of the kid was increased to 46.67%, or 7 children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in storytelling ability in children aged 5-6 years at Al  Muhajirin Kindergarten, Tunjung Teja Subdistrict through the use of puppet stages and to find out how the use of  puppet stages in an effort to improve storytelling ability in children aged 5-6 years at Al Muhajirin Kindergarten,  Tunjung Teja Subdistrict. The population in this study included all students aged 5-6 years at Al Muhajirin  Kindergarten as many as 13 students. With data collection techniques using oral tests and interviews. The results of this  study indicate that the storytelling ability of children aged 5-6 years at Al Muhajirin Kindergarten, Tunjung Teja  District has increased after using puppet stage media. In Cycle I, learning outcomes showed a number of children in the  developing category, with total achievement increasing from before the action. However, these results have not met the  specified criteria, so improvements are needed in Cycle II. In Cycle II, the observation results showed further  improvement, with a good achievement category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan berhitung anak di Paud Permata Bunda Kec,Tanara Kab, Serang. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berhitung Anak Melalui Permainan Congklak Usia 5-6 Tahun di Paud Permata Bunda. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berhitung Anak Melalui Permainan Congklak Usia 5-6 Tahun di Paud Permata Bunda. Adapun pendekatan dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berhitung anak dan permainan tradisional congklak. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan anak didik kelompok Usia 5-6 Tahun dengan jumlah 10 Siswa Laki-laki dan Prempuan. Adapun prosedur penelitian yaitu: perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengelompokkan data aktivitas guru dan aktivitas anak. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat anak yang berada dalamkategorimulai berkembang dan belum berkembang, hal ini menunjukkan hasil pencapaian anak belum maksimal dan perlu dilanjutkan pada siklus kedua. Hasil penelitian pada siklus II menunjukkan bahwa banyak anak yang masuk dalam kategori berkembang sangat baik dan berkembang sesuai harapan , hasil pencapaian sudah dianggap maksimal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketehui bahwa terjadi peningkatan dan perkembangan kemampuan berhitung anak didik melalui permainan tradisional congklak dari siklus I dan siklus II.

Abstract

This study aims (1). To improve children's speaking ability through storytelling method using hand puppet media  (2). To analyze the improvement of children's speaking ability through storytelling method using hand puppet media.  First supervisor: Dr. Eneng Sri Susilawati M.Pd. Supervisor II: H.Subhan, M.Pd. Setia Budhi University (USB)  Rangkasbitung 2024.  This research was conducted at PAUD Al Fajar, Tanara District, Serang Regency. This study uses a type of  Classroom Action Research (PTK) research. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation,  and children's worksheets. The research subjects were children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Al Fajar, Tanara District,  Serang Regency. The results showed that learning through pop up media can improve the speaking ability of children aged 4-5 years  at PAUD Al Fajar, Tanara District, Serang Regency. The success rate in children increased. In pre-cycle activities  from an average of 38.61% increased 23.63% in cycle I to 62.24% then increased again 17.44% in cycle II to  79.68%.
