Nosipakabelo Journal: Islamic Guidance and Counseling is a scientific publication that disseminates research findings, theoretical studies, and field studies in the fields of counseling, guidance, and educational psychology, from both Islamic and general perspectives. Abstract

This article will look at the extent to which the Basic Technical Skill (BTS) program has contribut-ed to the spread of admin competence at PT. HAP. By using qualitative research methods. Re-trieval and data collection is done through observation techniques. Observations were made on several employees. The goal is to find out whether the subject has occupied a position that fits the competence or not. Testing is done by selecting subjects who have participated in the Basic Tech-nical Skill (BTS) program. By looking at the change in attitude before joining the program and af-ter participating in the Basic Technical Skill (BTS) program. The results show that basic technical skills have contributed quite effectively to employee competencies, especially for the admin profes-sion, but on the one hand, basic technical skills have not contributed effectively to conflict man-agement in the company.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the inferiority that exists in junior high school students in Ternate Island. Inferiority is due to feeling that there is a deficiency in yourself or an imperfection in an individual's life. This feeling will encourage someone to be insecure and tend to feel fail. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach. The sample that will be involved in this research is around 648 students of SMP / MTs at Ternate city. This sample size was obtained by dividing the sample size of 24 students per school, 8 students per batch (grades 1-3), consisting of 4 boys and 4 girls. The variables will be measured using an inferiority scale instrument compiled by researchers based on the inferiority dimensions proposed by Adler, namely, Feeling of being below, Feeling of feminity, and Feeling of insecurity (feeling insecure). This scale consists of 48 items, with 24 favorable items and 24 unfavorable items. The results showed that there were 36 respondents (8%) who had an inferiority score in the very high category, 98 respondents (22%) were in the high category, 161 respondents (37%) were in the medium category, 123 respondents (28%) were in the low category, and 24 respondents (5%) are in the very low category. These results indicate that inferiority is a situation faced by students but can still be overcome with various approaches

Abstract

PT.X is a service business-oriented company in Indonesia, namely in the port service sector. In order to increase HR competency, PT.X regularly conducts potential reviews on several classes of positions including senior analysts, senior assistant managers, and senior managers. The research objective was to determine the actual condition of the employees' competencies. Data collection methods used were psychological tests, observation, interviews, and LGD. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The subject in this study was a 44 year old woman who was an employee at PT. X in the supporting facilities subdivision (FP) who has a structural position as Assistant Senior Manager (ASM). The results showed that from the entire series of assessments carried out to Ms.Y, it showed that there were 10 competencies that met the standards, 3 competencies in the category above the standard, and 1 competency below the standard. This means that generally Ms.Y meets the standards of her current position. The conclusion from this potential review assessment shows that Ms. Y meets the competency standards in her position as ASM in the supporting facilities subdivision, however, further development is needed regarding substandard competencies using counseling training so that Ms.Y can implement it to subordinates.

Abstract

Anak dengan keterbatasan intelektual memiliki kemampuan intelektual dan sosial yang terbatas sehingga memerlukan afeksi atau kelekatan dengan orang terdekat (significant others). Kurangnya afeksi dapat membuat anak dengan keterbatasan intelektual dapat menunjukkan perilaku bermasalah. Significant others terkadang belum memahami bagaimana memberikan afeksi kepada anak dengan keterbatasan intelektual. Konseling dapat memberikan pemahaman dan insight bagaimana significant others dapat memberikan afeksi kepada anak dengan keterbatasan intelektual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat efektifitas konseling dalam mengatasi permasalahan afeksi antara anak keterbatasan intelektual dengan significant others. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus untuk menguji efektifitas konseling yang digunakan. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang anak berusia 16 tahun dengan ciri-ciri fisik ras mongolia dan memiliki keterbatasan intelektual berdasarkan asesmen psikologi yang dilakukan. Subjek memiliki perilaku bermasalah seperti selalu datang terlambat ke sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling mampu memberikan insight kepada significant others untuk memberikan afeksi kepada subjek penelitian sehingga perilaku bermasalah subjek seperti datang terlambat ke sekolah menurun.

Abstract

This study aims to describe in full and in depth the social reality and various phenomena that occur in the society which is the subject of research so that the characteristics, characters, traits, and models of these phenomena are described. The main issues in this study are 1. How is the welfare of scavengers and beggars in Palu City 2. What factors affect the welfare, psychological and financial of scavengers and beggars. 3 What is the strategy of the Palu City Social Service Family Welfare Consultation Institute in motivating the welfare of scavengers and beggars. This research is classified as qualitative with the research approach used is a normative and sociological approach, namely environmental interactions that are in accordance with social units, individuals, groups, institutions, or communities. The data source of this research is the people of scavengers and beggars. Furthermore, the data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This study was carried out by checking the validity of the data with trigulation techniques. In an effort to improve people's welfare, these efforts cannot be separated from the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD). Based on this basis, the Palu City Social Service has adopted various policies to improve the welfare of the community, especially scavengers and beggars. In the study, it was found that the welfare of scavengers and beggars in Palu City by the Family Welfare Consultation Institute (LK3) is an increase in human and economic resources, by providing assistance in the form of rehabilitation and knowledge development to provide abilities to beggars and scavengers in Palu City. There are many factors behind the emergence of scavengers and beggars in people's lives. Based on the author's observations, the factors in the emergence of beggars and scavengers can be caused by 1. Poverty problems (Financial). 2 Educational problems. 3 Work skills problems. 4 Psychic Problems
