ABSTRACT Based on the observation in SLB Dharma Wanita Ujung Pangkah Gresik there were children with autism who had difficulty in counting ability. To enhance counting ability of children with autism could use quantum learning. This research had purpose to analyze whether there was influence of quantum learning toward counting ability to children with autism in SLB Dharma Wanita Ujung Pangkah Gresik. The learning used in this research was quantum learning. The kind of research was pre experiment. The design used the one group pre test and post test. The method used to collect the data was test method. For data analysis this research used analysis technique of statistic non parametric with the subject 6 children with autism. The research result after giving pre test indicated that the children’s average value was 32 and they were then given intervention 8 times with time allocation 2x30 minutes for each meeting and then they were given post test which indicated that there was change, the children’s value was better with the average value 7,66. From the research result it was analyzed using sign test formula (Zh) with Z table 5% two sides test 1,96. The value obtained in counting was ZH = 2,04 so that it could be concluded that “there was significant influence of learning quantum toward counting ability to autism children in SLB Dharma Wanita Ujung Pangkah Gresik”, with the value Zh = 2,04 > Z table 5% = 1,96. ABSTRACT The learning outcomes in science are the score obtained by students in studying the theory based on observations and experiments. In the deaf students, these conditions may create problems in learning the next lesson if there is no proper treatment. Deaf students are students who experience lack or loss of hearing ability due to damage or malfunction in a part or all of the hearing instruments, therefore there is a bottleneck in developing language skills and special education services are required to earn a decent living. The study aims to examine whether there is any effect of direct learning model using video as interactive media based on learning outcomes of science especially on human digestive system in deaf students SMPLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya. The results of the study referred to the student interest, student activeness in answering questions of the media, the student attitudes, and the student’s academic ability. This study uses a pre-experimental type of research, conducting in 10 meetings with 8 treatments. This study applied one group pretest posttest design with the subject of 6 students. Data collection method is conducted by testing and observation. The data analysis using non-parametric statistical analysis by the sign test. Based on the research result with has been analyzed by using sign test, Z count (ZH) is 2,05, Z tabel in the significant of 5% for one tail test (Zt=1,64) and for two tail test (Zt=1,96), it causes Ho be rejected and Ha be accepted (1,64<2,05>1.96). based on those descriptions, it can be concluded that Direct Learning Model By Video as Interactive Media to the Learning Outcomes of Science in Human Digestive System of Deaf Student in Class VIII SMPLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya. ABSTRACT Learning science was a process to give experience to learners about natural phenomenon or natural symptoms. Mentally retardation children had intellectual disorder which affected to the learning problem such as they were hard to think abstractly, anything to learn should be concrete. Therefore, to solve the learning problem of mentally retardation children about learning science it had been applied outdoor study method with pop-up book media. This research had purpose to analyze whether there was influence of outdoor study method with pop-up book media in learning science to mentally retardation children in SDLBN Sambirejo Nganjuk. . The research kind used was pre-experiment. The design used: one group pre test and post test. The method used to collect the data was test method. For the research data analysis it used analysis technique of statistic non parametric with sign test. From the result of data analysis it indicated that the pre test average value was 58,83 and the post test average value was 84,16. The research result after applying outdoor study method with pop-up book media indicated that zh = 2,05 > Zt = 1,96. It meant that “there was significant influence of outdoor study method with pop-up media in learning science to mentally retardation children in SDLBN Sambirejo Nganjuk. ABSTRACT The introduction of color in children has several benefits namely, develop intelligence, hone the ability to remember, imagination, artistic, understanding space, cognitive skills, and creative thinking pattern is simple. While autistic children experiencing developmental delays that affect several aspects of children in a familiar environment and learning experiences, which lead to children experiencing barriers to recognize colors as happened in students with autism in SLB AL FALAH Sembayat Gresik. The purpose of this research is to study about the basic skills of autistic children recognize colors before and after intervention using direct learning model. This study uses a pre-experimental type of research. The time used is 10 times with 1 times pretest, posttest 1 times and 8 times of intervention. In the implementation of pretest and posttest child is given a test sheet in the form of children's ability to recognize colors before and after the intervention, in the form match the image, count the number of images with the same basic color, and color the picture as instructed are written. And on the implementation of the intervention recognize the child is given treatment in the form of basic colors, simple flat wake, and the numbers 6 through 9. The design study is one group pretest posttest design with a sample of 7 children. Methods of data collection is done by testing and observation. Analysis of the data is non-parametric statistical analysis using unmarked rank test (Wilcoxon). From the analysis of data acquired Z count 2,368 results with a significant proportion of testing the value of one side (critical value = 5% Z table = 1.64) and test 2 sides (critical value = 5% Ztabel = 1.96) and of hypothesis testing above, it can be concluded that the learning model directly affect the ability to recognize colors basic skills of autistic students in class II SLB AL FALAH Sembayat Gresik. ABSTRACT Language skills are important aspect in child development. To improve child language is through addition of vocabulary. Learning method applied in additional child vocabulary in this research is floor time metode. The method of floor time is a way to build interaction based on child interest for connecting emotion, behaviour and language without any force, a child has an active role in language development. The purpose of the research is prove an influence in floor time method to addition of vocabulary for children with disability in SLB (School Special Ecuation) PurnaYuda Bhakti Surabaya. The research method is quantitative approach and research design “the one group, pre test – post test design”, the data was collected by using partipants's observation and documentation. The observation is applied to gain additional vocabulary of child with autism prior to treatment and afterwards. Meanwhile, the documentation data is to be made as supporting data or evidence that the research has been performed. The research result shows that before floor time method has been gived, the obtained average is 45 and after that the obtained average 73. This shows that there is a significant increase. Value Zh = 2,05 higher than crisis value 5% Zt=+1,96 which means that Ho is rejected an Ha is accepted. Therefore, it is concluded that there is an influence of floor time method to addition of vocabulary for child with autism in SLB (School for Special Education) purnayuda bhakti Surabaya. ABSTRACT Every individual always requires others and it will form a social interaction among those who influence one another. Children with autism have three problems in their development namely behavior, communication, and social interaction. This study aims to describe a social interaction among the students with autism in inclusive elementary shcool of YBPK Semampir Kediri. This study used a qualitative research approach. It used interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection techniques. The result of this study indicated that the social interaction that existed among the students with autism including passive interaction was only being able to accept the approach of others and not being able to interact on a reciprocal basis. Judging from the factors that support the formation of social interaction (imitation, suggestion, identification, and sympathy) on the subject of the study, it suggested that social of research subject was still limited and not able to perform mutual communication. It can be said that social interaction among students with autism has been formed, but it was still in the passive or minimal category. Keywords : Social Interaction

ABSTRACT The music recited from the instrument could influence the concentration even the children’s intellectual. Therefore, diatonic instrument could be applied to develop the concentration of mild mentally retardation children. In doing observation on 5th February, 2015 in SDLB-C AKW II Surabaya it indicated that the children’s concentrating ability did not fully develop well yet and the range of concentration was relatively short. As the learning ran the children seemed musing and did not care to their teacher. The mild mentally retardation children seemed to have disturbance in concentrating and very often they failed in learning. This research had purpose to analyze the influence of diatonic instrument to develop the concentration level of mild mentally retardation children in SDLB-C AKW II Surabaya. The kind of this research was experiment with Single Subject Research arrangement and A-B design. The subject of this research was mild mentally retardation children in SDLB-C AKW II Surabaya experiencing the concentration disturbance. Based on the analysis done it indicated that baseline phase (A) was done in 5 sessions for 5 minutes meeting. And intervention phase (B) was done in 10 sessions for 10 minutes meeting. Appropriate with the data analysis and the discussion it could be concluded that there was enhancement concentration which was done by the mild mentally retardation children after giving the activity of playing diatonic instrument. One of the ways to help solving the problem was that the researcher used Picture Exchange Communication System approach toward speech and communication ability of special need program to autism students in SLB Autism Mutiara Hati Mojokerto. The purpose of this research was to prove whether there was influence of Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) approach toward speech and communication ability of special need program to autism students. This research was implemented by using quantitative approach, pre-experimental arrangement, and one group pretest-posttest design. The sample used numbered 6 autism students in SLB Autism Mutiara Hati Mojokerto. The data collection was done by test and documentation techniques. After the data had been collected, it was then processed by statistic non parametric and then the data was analyzed by sign test formula. The research result indicated that there was enhancement of pretest average value i.e. 48,7 and posttest 70,2 while the result of data analysis indicated that Zh value was 2,05 and Z table 5% was 1,96 so the interpretation was Zh > Zt. Abstract Mid mentally retardation children in SLBC Dharma Wanita Lebo Sidoarjo had obstacle in handling, holding, getting a pinch, tearing, and sticking, they required to be led in order that their fine motoric ability enhanced by doing sticking simple kolase activity. The purpose of this research was to prove the influence of sticking simple kolase activity toward fine motoric ability of mid mentally retardation in SLBC Dharma Wanita Lebo Sidoarjo. This research method used quantitative approach of pre experiment kind with “pre-experimental design (non design)” , “one group pretest – posttest design”, the data was collected by using test method (action test), observation, and documentation. Observation was used to obtain the data of fine motoric ability to mid mentally retardation children before and after giving treatment while the data of documentation was as the support or proof data that the research was really done. The research result indicated that to the initial observation / the average pretest obtained was 55,53 and after giving treatment, the final observation / the average observation obtained was 90,48. It indicated that there was significant enhancement. Zh value = 2,20 was greater than critic value 5% Zt = +1,96 which meant that Ho was refused and Ha was accepted. So it could be concluded that there was influence of sticiking simple kolase activity toward fine motoric ability of mid mentally retardation children in SLBC Dharma Wanita Lebo Sidoarjo.
