Abstract

The format of the balance sheet and income statement since the Indonesian IFRS convergence has changed with the addition of attribution of equity and comprehensive income. This change became the idea to develop the Return On Equity (ROE) formula. The purpose of this study is to empirically prove whether additional attribution information adds relevance value or is surprising, through analysis of the effect of ROE modification based on attribution of stock returns as a proxy for relevance value, with data on 504 companies listed on the IDX in 2016 2020. The results show that attribution equity and comprehensive income have value relevance for users. The novelty of this research is the modification of ROE with attribution of equity and comprehensive income, and the use of modified ROE to measure the value of relevance.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of financial literacy and sociodemographic factors on stock investment decisions through behavioral bias as a variable intervention. By using purposive sampling technique, so that the number of research samples obtained was 109 members of investment galleries at State Islamic University Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Brawijaya University, and State University of Malang. The results showed that financial literacy affects stock investment decisions and behavioral bias, while sociodemographic factors do not affect them. Behavioral bias influences stock investment decisions and it can mediate the effect of financial literacy on stock investment decisions but it is unable to mediate sociodemographic factors towards stock members' investment decisions in State Islamic University Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Brawijaya University, and State University of Malang.

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) during the current covid-19 pandemic must be carried out optimally. Maximum management can have a positive effect for the realization of the goal of reaching the peak of expectations in line with the current period. Therefore, the urgency of research on human resource management is needed. The purpose of this study is to determine the superior, creative, and innovative HRM in the education and organizational sector. This research method uses a qualitative approach, with the type of literature review research. The data sources used are secondary data sources by reviewing articles in journals and secondary data from books to support this research, all of which are in accordance with the research objectives or research relevance. The result of the research is that HRM can be carried out in a superior, creative, and innovative way, so that management objectives can be achieved and are effective in the activities carried out. Excellent in managing human resources, creative in activating activities, and innovative in finding ideas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Consumer Brand Switching Behavior Model in Purchasing Automotive Products in Medan City. This research is basic research. The population in this study were consumers of car owners in Medan City. The sampling technique is a non-probability sampling technique. The criteria used in the sampling are that the respondents of this study are consumers who own cars, have changed car brands in the last 3 years, and reside in Medan, while the sample is set at 145 people. Data collection techniques used were interviews (Interview) and a list of questions (Questionaire). The data analysis method used in this research is the Structural Equation Model method. The results showed that Brand Image has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Brand Image has a negative and significant effect on Brand Switching. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Product quality has a negative and significant effect on Brand Switching. Satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on Brand Switching. Satisfaction can negatively mediate the effect of Brand Image on Brand Switching and Satisfaction can negatively mediate the effect of Product Quality on Brand Switching.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of nurses which is influenced by workload and motivation through job satisfaction. This research was conducted on nurses at Primaya Hospital, Bekasi Utara, where 152 nurses were used as respondents. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire with measurement of the likert scale and interval scale. The analytical method used is Partial Least Square (PLS) using software WarpPLS 7.0. The results of this study indicate that motivation has a positive and significant effect on nurse performance. Meanwhile workload has no effect on performance. Satisfaction has no effect on performance. This result is expected to be taken into consideration for related parties in maintaining nurse performance

Abstract

ABSTRACT.This study aims to explore how the role of job crafting on teacher performance during the Covid pandemic through burnout and work life balance. The responden was 211 high school teachers in the West Java. Model Data collection using an online questionnaire with the method of Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis. The results of this research show that job crafting has a positive effect on performance and work life balance while burnout has negative effect. Teacher performance is negatively affected by burnout and positively influenced by work life balance. Burnout and work life balance have been shown to partially mediate the relationship between job crafting and teacher performance, but the effect of job crafting on teacher performance is better directly without going through burnout and work life balance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to review and analyze the factors that influence the profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The approach method used in this research is a quantitative approach. The data needed for this research is secondary data which is a report from the Annual Sharia Banking Statistics for the period 2018-2020 obtained and obtained from the Financial Services Authority. Using multiple linear regression analysis techniques (multiple linear regression method). The results show CAR, NPF, FDR and BOPO have a simultaneous influence on the profitability (ROA) of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia for the 2018-2020 period, and CAR, NPF, and FDR partially have no effect on the profitability (ROA) of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia for the 2018-2020 period and BOPO partially has a significant negative effect on the profitability (ROA) of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia for the 2018-2020 period. This research is limited by internal factors that affect the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of product quality and price on purchasing decisions through buying interest. This study uses a quantitative approach. The analytical model used in this study is path analysis using SPSS 16. The data used are primary data through questionnaires. Samples were taken as many as 100 respondents who were determined by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that Product Quality had an effect on Purchase Decisions with a significance of 0.016 0.05. Price has an effect on Purchase Decision with a significance value of 0.000 0.05. Buying Interest has an effect on Purchase Decision with a significance value of 0.002 0.05. This study also shows that Purchase Interest is able to be a mediating variable between Product Quality on Purchase Decisions and Price on Purchase Intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the marketing approach during the Covid-19 pandemic on the performance of MSMEs with technology as a moderating variable with the research subject in the Medan City Court Street workshop. This thesis uses an associative and quantitative analysis approach. The population of this research is all workshop entrepreneurs who are on the street of Medan Court. Saturated sample is the entire population of 100 respondents as the sample of this study. The data collection approach has been tested for validity and reliability by reporting, interviews, and questionnaires. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) method with the alternative method of Partial Least Square (PLS) is an analysis of the data used in this study. The results showed that: (1) With a value of 0.767 and a P-value of 0.0033, the effect of production on the performance of MSMEs is positive and significant. (2) With a result of 0.000 (0.05), technology moderates the impact of production on MSME performance positively and significantly. (3) production on the performance of MSMEs is positive and significant with a value of 0.468 and a P-Value of 0.042 (4). direct marketing to the performance of MSMEs with a value of -0.265 and a P-Value of 0.000. (6) the positive and significant effect of direct marketing on the performance of MSMEs, which is moderated by technology, shows the result of 0.000 (0.05).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a model for student financial literacy at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Private University in Medan. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto causal associative research design. This research was conducted at University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, Islamic University of North Sumatra, Pancabudi University, Dharmawangsa University, Al Azhar University, University of Muslim Nusantara, Al Washliyah University, Prima Indonesia University, HKBP Nomensen University, University of Prima Indonesia, and Sari Mutiara University. The study population was all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Private Universities in Medan City from semester IV to semester VIII. Data collection techniques using a list of questions (questionnaire), interviews and documentation studies. To test the dimensions of the financial literacy construct using structural equational modeling (SEM). The results showed that financial knowledge had a positive and significant effect on financial behavior, financial attitude had a positive and significant effect on financial behavior, and there was a significant reciprocal relationship between financial knowledge and financial attitude.
