<![CDATA[Surabaya is the second largest city in Indonesia with high density population which can cause many living problem such as dengue fever. Dengue fever outbreak is caused by Aedes aegepty and spread fast in high density population. Many researches about dengue fever had been done in other city and country in order to decrease the spread of this outbreak. This research’s aim is to predict external factor that can caused dengue fever outbreak in Surabaya. Method that is used in this paper is Geospatial Weighted Regression (GWR) which focus on local coefficient estimates at each health centres in Surabaya. Health centres that have high local coefficient estimates have strong correlation of spreading dengue fever in Surabaya. This research’s only focused 3 external factor in which consist of family poverty percentage, precipitation, and levels of education. Levels of education is the only factor that have high local coefficient estimates and have strong correlation of spreading dengue fever in Surabaya compared to the other factors.]]>

<![CDATA[PT. X is a cigarette company that applies the principle of Continuous Improvement. The Continuous Improvement Program has been implemented in one of the departments in the HRD Division, namely the HR Project. The program is still not running optimally due to a lack of understanding from the employees of PT. X deals with analytical tools for quality control as well as project management. The solution given to overcome the problem is to prepare training modules from 7 QC Tools and Project Management which are made simple and attractive so that they are easy to understand. The Project HR Supervisor has tested the module through trial and inspection activities. The HR Project and the Training Team have evaluated by comparing the old and new modules. The overall average for the old module is 2.08, and the new module is 3.50. The 7 QC Tools training module is also implemented in one of the programs, namely HR Survey 2021 on Suggestion Comment data processing using Pareto Diagrams.]]>

<![CDATA[PT X is a global No. 1 in the world. To remain the best, companies need to maintain and increase productivity. This is because productivity is a measure of the success of a process. The purpose of this study is to find out the causes of low productivity and make efforts to reduce the gap between planning and actual. The approach used in this research is DMAIC. It was found that the factors causing the productivity target not to be achieved were due to the gap in working time/machines running and the number of workers who did not match the plan with the actual. This gap is caused by the efficiency of the production process which is still not on target. This causes the output of the production process is not as planned. This impact resulted in the amount of time and labor needed to be not in accordance with what was planned to achieve the desired productivity. The suggestions for improvement are the visual control display design, plan of action, and control plan sheet. This proposal is considered to be able to assist planning and production to control the productivity of the production process.]]>

<![CDATA[Modules and videos are materials that can be used for training, which allows participants to learn independently. PT. X desires to design training modules and videos about communication styles so that supervisors can learn independently and mitigate offline training. The purpose of this study is to design modules and videos about communication styles for supervisor. These training modules and videos are designed based on analysis of communication style of supervisor and Heffner’s main communication styles theories. The main communication styles consist of passive, aggressive, and assertive. The ideal communication style is assertive, whereas passive and aggressive communication style are usable in certain situations. The analysis was conducted based on viewpoints of the leader and staff. The analysis results shows that supervisor have an assertive communication style, so it’s ideal and must be maintained consistently. The modules and videos designed are in accordance with the characteristics of training modules and videos, and have been validated by the company.]]>

<![CDATA[PT X is a coachbuilder company that was founded in 1973. PT X produces two types of vehicle bodies, namely: minibusses and buses. In order to meet consumer demand, the company uses a make to order strategy. The production department plays an important role, and the warehouse department as a supporter of the production department, therefore a good relationship is needed between the two departments, one of which is ordering and shipping components. The system for ordering and delivery of components now, there is no planning for ordering components, which causes a delay in the production process. Improvements were made by creating an ordering and delivery information system for components, also make a support information system for the Microsoft Dynamics GP program that is already used in the company. Support Information system using Microsoft Macro Excel program. The improvements that have been made can accelerate the component ordering process.]]>

<![CDATA[Purchasing department is one of the most important departments because the company relies on the raw goods purchased by the purchasing department. The company also has suppliers or vendors of the raw products that the company needs. Vendor selection is an important task for every company, especially the purchasing department itself. Each vendor that has been selected requires a vendor evaluation to determine the assessment for each vendor that the company has used before. The vendor's assessment has several criteria that must be assessed in the vendor's assessment. Some of these criteria are the quality of the products they provide, the quantity or quantity of each item they send, the accuracy of the delivery by the vendor, the service provided by the vendor, and the last is the comparison of the price of the selected vendor with other vendors. The weighting assessment for each of these criteria was carried out using the AHP paired weighting method. The AHP method will be used to obtain a weighted value for each predetermined criterion. This weighting will later be used to assess each vendor in the company. The results of calculations using AHP state that these data are consistent and can be weighted.]]>

<![CDATA[In starting a new business or becoming an entrepreneur, one can face many obstacles. This study aims to see what obstacles are experienced by S-1 graduates of the Faculty of Industrial Technology in entrepreneurship. Constraints faced can be seen from what factors influence in starting a new business. At the beginning of the study, the constraint factors in entrepreneurship were collected through previous research. The constraint factors that have a relationship with building a new business are as follows: entrepreneurship planning, Internal, leadership, environment. The method used to collect data in this research is by distributing questionnaires to graduates of the Faculty of Industrial Technology. The number of respondents obtained is 98 people who come from 4 study programs. Analysis of the results of the questionnaire using Structural Equetion Modeling with SmartPLS 3.0. shows that entrepreneurship planning has no significant effect on entrepreneurship constraints. Meanwhile, Internal, leadership, and environmental factors significantly influence or have an impact on the obstacles that may be faced in entrepreneurship.]]>

<![CDATA[PT. Intidaya Dinamika Sejati is a company engaged in design, engineering and service in the industrial and general business sectors in Indonesia. The services offered are for various products such as vacuum pumps, air-end compressors, control panels, roots blowers, and air locks. The two main products produced at PT. Intidaya Dinamika Sejati, namely the medical system and root blower. Waste is any form of activity that does not add value to the product (Ridwan et al. [1]). The results of observations and interviews with companies show that waste of time and energy caused by several factors occurs at PT. Intidaya Dinamika Sejati. Observations were made to obtain cycle time, value stream mapping and waste analysis. The results of the analysis show that there is waste waiting, motion, transportation and defects. Waste analysis is carried out with the help of the value stream mapping tool. Proposals are given to reduce the waste that occurs. The proposal is expected to reduce defects, unnecessary movement of workers and waiting time.]]>

<![CDATA[PT. X started a business process to introduce solar power generation devices as an alternative energy source. Currently, Key Performance Indicators of PT. X was not designed according to the company's business model and values. The company also does not have a dashboard to monitor the performance of each department and its achievements. Companies find it difficult to monitor their performance. The purpose of this final project is to design Key Performance Indicators based on the company's business model, values, and quality objectives. Database is also needed to record and store supporting data for calculating Key Performance Indicators. Data and calculation results are visualized in a dashboard to make it easier for companies to monitor the performance of each department. With this dashboard, companies also get information and insights related to the performance of solar projects. Companies can take advantage of information and insights to formulate strategies so that companies can improve the achievement of the company's Key Performance Indicators better.]]>

<![CDATA[PT. Solusi Duka Indonesia, which was established in 2018, have helped many people with their service to accompany the moment of grief. PT. Solusi Duka Indonesia innovates to provide mourning services because of their emphaty for people who feel lost and then hindered by space and time to attend mourning events. Currently the sales target is not enough, for that it is necessary to improve the quality of service. The goal is that more of them use the Solusi Duka Indonesia so that the company can survive. The method used in this research is design thinking. Design thinking is a creative process that focused on human needs and provides impetus for creating creative solutions. In this method there are activities to interview respondents and conduct surveys to respondents who have experienced grief. Based on the result of the research that has been carried out, several problems were found that can be used as suggestions for developing the quality of service for the Solusi Duka Indonesia. One of the result of the proposal given is the addition of a death file management feature as many as 31 respondents chose.]]>
