Abstract

The Class IIA Tembilahan Correctional Institution plays a role in determining the treatment of perpetrators of crimes from the prison system to the 1964 penitentiary system. The implementation employs two development programs, namely personality development and independence development. Class IIA Tembilahan Prison has various activities to promote self-sufficiency, from chicken farms and cattle farms to fish ponds, prison workshops and laundry provided for prison inmates so that inmates have the skills and experience to do things that are useful when they leave prison. Regarding the market to be targeted, a marketing strategy is needed that can increase the selling power of the products produced. Improvements ranging from product quality, product selling prices, product distribution, and product promotion. This paper seeks to draw conclusions about the right marketing strategy in an effort to increase the sales value of production from convicts. Marketing Optimization Efforts to Achieve Industry Results for the Development of Prisoners' Independence in Class IIA Tembilahan Correctional Institutions, which aims to reintegrate prisoners into society by optimizing marketing for the development of prisoners' independence. The results at the Tembilahan Class IIA prison can be a good first step and have a significant impact on the lives of inmates.

Abstract

The assimilation program at prisons in the midst of a pandemic is not running optimally. Many problems were encountered in the midst of the Minister's decision to carry out the home assimilation program. Prisoners who are supposed to undergo an integration program, one of which is assimilation, do not fully receive guidance outside the Institution. Therefore the existence of SAE needs to be maximized in the implementation of the assimilation program. In this study, researchers were interested in using a descriptive qualitative approach. Descriptive research is carried out by describing an event that is happening at this time by focusing more on actual problems according to the events at the time the research was carried out. Selong prison has effective assimilation and education facilities for inmates for inmates to channel the skills and talents of inmates in the fields available in the program. With a platform for the activities of various kinds of program clusters provided, this activity can become an opportunity to socialize to the community regarding the prisoner development program and minimize the social stigma of ex-convicts. Correctional officers who are involved in the assimilation program at SAE should be able to provide serious and measurable guidance to convicts who take part in the program so that they can carry out the program with enthusiasm and responsibility and conduct outreach to inmates both directly and online regarding the program being implemented.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine, firstly, whether the task executive's leadership style has a significant effect on the performance of correctional officers. Second, whether the influence of leadership style on performance is based on the motivation of the leader. In connection with this problem, the following hypothesis is proposed, Leadership style has a significant influence on the performance of correctional officers. Second, the motivation of correctional officers is based on the influence of leadership style on correctional performance. The purpose of the study was to determine yes or not there was an influence of the executive's leadership style in leading and motivating correctional officers. This research is aimed at the performance problems of correctional officers who have not met expectations. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative method, and obtains data through interviews, results from previous studies, and observations.

Abstract

The leadership style is said to be good if the leadership style can be properly applied by a leader and can be accepted by employees in the organization, so that the employee's performance can be improved. This study aims to determine and explain the direct influence of leadership style on employee performance in Class IIB Bengkulu prisons. The research method used is the quantitative research method. The population in this study were all employees in class IIB Bengkulu prisons with a total of 66 respondents. The data collection technique in this study was to use a questionnaire. The variable in this study is the independent variable, namely leadership style and the dependent variable, namely performance. Testing the effect of leadership style on employee performance in class IIB Bengkulu detention centers was carried out using validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests and simple regression tests. The results of this study are instrument X producing 14 valid and reliable statements, instrument Y producing 7 valid and reliable statements, based on a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that the leadership style variable affects the performance variable.

Abstract

Prostitution is an activity that has taken place during the royal era in Java by using women as objects to fulfill the needs of sexual desire. Prostitution is also considered a social problem considering that this problem is the oldest civilizational phenomenon that is still ongoing today in Indonesian society. Prostitution itself comes from the Latin word prottuere which means openly submitting oneself to adultery. Meanwhile, etymologically it comes from the word prostare which means to sell, peddle. The research method is a way of doing something carefully to achieve a goal by searching, recording, formulating and analyzing to compile a report. In this study using empirical research types, in this case the authors use several methods of research that are appropriate in this research method used to obtain maximum results. The causes of online prostitution in the city of Semarang are caused by several factors, including economic, environmental, internet abuse, and others. The legal policy in dealing with online prostitution crimes refers to Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions which explains that every person who intentionally and without rights distributes or transmits or makes it accessible Electronic Information and Electronic Documents that contain content2 that violates decency as referred to in Article 27 paragraph (1) shall be subject to imprisonment for a maximum of 6 (six) years and a maximum fine of Rp. 1,000,000,000.00 (one billion Rupiah). Prostitution is a form of sexual activity that is usually carried out in tandem with other people to achieve a higher level of intimacy or a unique level of cooperation between the two parties to engage in sexual activity.

Abstract

Overcrowded penitentiary housing has an impact on the health conditions of inmates. the occupancy rate of prisoners which tends to increase every year is not proportional to the number of Correctional Institutions. The problem of this research is how to grant the right to health services to convicts and what obstacles are faced in granting the right to health services to overcrowded convicts in correctional institutions. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach using primary and secondary data sources. This research shows that granting the right to health services for convicts who are overcrowded in Correctional Institutions is an effort to improve the health status of prisoners through health services and environmental health service efforts by increasing human resources for health services, health service facilities, health service financing, availability of drugs and equipment. -medical devices. Obstacles faced in granting the right to health services to prisoners in a state of overcrowding in Correctional Institutions include limited Human Resources for Health Service Officers, Health Service facilities, Health Service Financing, availability of Medicines and Medical Devices and low awareness of prisoners in carrying out efforts to maintain health.

Abstract

The study aimed to examine the effect of compensation and transformational leadership on performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. The sampling method used is a saturated sampling technique that is, taking samples as a whole or all members of the population are used as samples. Respondents in this study were civil servants of Lapas Class IIB Payakumbuh amounting to 23 civil servants. This study used descriptive and statistical analysis methods conducted validity tests, rehabilitation tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroskedestity tests, normality tests, correlation tests, determination coefficients, t tests, path analysis, and sobel tests. The tests in the t test showed that compensation had a positive and significant effect on work motivation in employees of Class IIB Payakumbuh Prison, transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on work motivation, compensation had a positive and significant effect on performance, transformational leadership had no effect on performance, Transformational leadership has no effect on performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance, work motivation can mediate between compensation and performance, and work motivation can mediate between transformational leadership and performance.

Abstract

In society and in organizational environments, both formal and informal, there is always someone who is considered more than others, such a person is generally referred to as a leader. The existence of a leader is absolutely necessary in needing a leader figure. A leader needs to appear on behalf of his group as a place to take risks when there is pressure on a group and as a place to put power. The leader will also coordinate the group in carrying out every activity that will be made or a product. In the figure, a leader must also apply the principles and style of good leadership, because a leader not only brings personality but a group that certainly has different characters from one another. So in an association between individuals who form a group and stay in one place or move, it must have a leader figure who is able to bring them to a mutually agreed goal. For this reason, in order for a leader to be able to bring the group he leads, he must be trained and know the values of leadership and apply them to the group.

Abstract

Performance is the result of work produced by employees in accordance with their role in the organization. Employee performance is one of the most important things in an organization to achieve goals so that various efforts must be made by the organization to improve it. This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership and employee empowerment on work motivation and employee performance. The data and sources used are the results of previous research. Furthermore, the data that has been collected was analyzed using descriptive methods. The results of this study conclude that leadership has a significant effect on work motivation

Abstract

This study aims to identify and determine the role of Ieaders in improving the performance of organizations in Iapas KeIas IIB kotaagung. The research uses quaIitative research methods where data coIIection is done through depth interviews, observations, and documentation that are better abIe to expIore the roIe of the Ieader in Lapas Kelas IIB Kotaagung. Validity of the data used is to impIement member checking. This study took pIace at the Lapas Kotaagung and retrieve objects members and leaders who served Lapas Kotaagung. In this study revealed that the role of leaders in Lapas Kelas IIB Kotaagung empower existing members to the fulIest. Leaders put members of the right to occupy a position taiIored to vocationaI education has been foIIowed. In addition, the Ieaders aIso held coaching which aims to provide training to members on the subject of prison offenses and how to resoIve the problem, and to motivate members to get the better performance provided. Leadership roIe to foster or strengthen motivation to members by giving awards if the performance of a given good and proud member of the institution. WhiIe in the process of decision-making and probIem-soIving, Ieadership invoIves its members in accordance with the issues invoIved, the Ievel of confidentiality, duty and authority so that not aII of them are invoIved in any decision making. Besides aIways received an opinion Ieader for the betterment and improvement of the performance of Lapas Kelas IIB Kotaagung.
