Abstract

The use of instructional media is an urgent necessity, especially with the widespread utilization of educational technology and the increasing number of users. This requires effective integration of such media into the learning process within educational institutions. This aligns with what was stated by Asriyliyya and her colleagues, that ineffective implementation of the teaching and learning process results in low effectiveness, reaching only 48%. However, this issue can be addressed by identifying appropriate instructional media for students. Ats-Tsamina Lil Ummah Institute is one of the institutions striving to utilize instructional media, particularly in its Arabic language course programs. Therefore, this study aims to measure the effectiveness of the "Istami’" application as a listening instructional tool for beginners in the Arabic language course at Ats-Tsamina Lil Ummah Institute in Bogor. The researcher employed an experimental research method with a quantitative approach. The effectiveness of the "Istami’" application was measured using a pretest-posttest design, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest design method. A t-test was used to compare students' pretest and posttest results to determine the application’s effectiveness in teaching listening skills. The research findings show that the "Istami’" application is effective in teaching listening skills. After being implemented in the beginner-level Arabic course at Ats-Tsamina Lil Ummah Institute, statistical analysis revealed that the probability value was lower than the level of significance (0.05 ≥ 0.00). The conclusion of this study emphasizes that technology-based instructional media have a positive impact on the learning process, enhance students’ language proficiency, and improve their academic performance.

Abstract

Sociocultural theory is a theory in sociology and psychology that addresses the importance of culture and society in the development and formation of individuals. One of the main components in the sociocultural theory proposed by Lev Vygotsky is the concept of scaffolding which refers to the form of support or assistance provided by more competent individuals, such as adults, teachers, or even peers, to learners who are trying to understand a concept or complete a particular task The purpose of the research is to observe how the concept of scaffolding in Vygotsky's sociocultural theory in learning maharah kalam in the Arabic takhosus program of Darul Fattah Bandar Lampung Qur'anic Junior High School. Data were collected through observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques are by summarizing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The result of this study is that the concept of scaffolding in this program is through two main sources, namely teachers and peers. It is hoped that this research can be a reference for similar research and further research can further develop similar research.

Abstract

Teaching competence include the ability to prepare learning plans, implement learning, and evaluate learning outcomes. In microeducation, these competencies include systematic planning of learning, selection of appropriate methods, effective classroom management, and providing constructive feedback. Mastering educational technology is also an important aspect of supporting the application of modern learning methods. Microteaching is an educational simulator that aims to train students to apply the theory of learning in real practice.This research aims to find out the extent of the impact of educational competencies on the success of mini-education for fourth grade B students at the Department of Arabic language education, Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Islamic State University Jember. Using quantitative methods based on survey, observation and documentation, the results of regression analysis showed a significant impact between educational competencies and microeducation.Based on the fact that the calculated value of t (4.678) exceeds the tabular value of t (2.14479), with a significance level of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05.It shows a statistically significant relationship. The main factor of success include the preparation of a good educational plan, mastering educational material, the use of diverse methods, effective communication skill. Students are advised to engage in intensive training, receive teacher assistance and carry out continuous training to improve efficiency. It is hoped that these results will become a reference in the development of curricula for the production of professional and competent teachers.

Abstract

Availability of appropriate books and in accordance with the rules of preparation of teaching materials (textbooks) will certainly help the successful implementation of the latest curriculum. Moreover, the learning process and Arabic language textbooks published by the latest Ministry of Religion have presented a Genre Based Approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Genre Based Approach in the Arabic language textbook material for the ninth grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature study. The qualitative data was obtained through documentation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of genre pedagogy was not perfect. There are still some patterns that have not been presented in this textbook. Among them, the discussion of the type of text, the structure of the text, and the social purpose of the text and the inappropriate placement of exercises.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh ciri-ciri kepribadian siswa pengguna AI terhadap pengembangan diri dalam konteks pembelajaran. Dengan meningkatnya penggunaan alat berbasis AI seperti ChatGPT dan Bard, penting untuk memahami bagaimana ciri-ciri kepribadian siswa berinteraksi dengan teknologi ini dan memengaruhi lintasan pengembangan diri mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dan melibatkan 131 siswa yang secara aktif menggunakan AI dalam proses pembelajaran mereka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ciri-ciri kepribadian ( X 1 ) memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan diri (Y) dengan koefisien β = 0,267 dan p 0,05. Selain itu, pemanfaatan AI ( X 2 ) berdampak signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran dengan koefisien β = 0,639 dan p 0,05. Model penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan prediktif yang kuat dengan nilai R² sebesar 0,792 untuk pengembangan diri dan 0,738 untuk Teori Perilaku Terencana ( Z). Penelitian ini juga membahas implikasi etis penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan tinggi dan mengidentifikasi strategi intervensi pedagogis yang dapat disesuaikan dengan beragam ciri kepribadian siswa untuk memaksimalkan manfaat teknologi AI dalam pengembangan diri.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the process of developing comics as a medium for learning maharah qiro'ah, and to test the effectiveness of comics as a medium for learning maharah qiro'ah in class XI of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sumenep. This study is a research and development (Research and Development) using the 4D model, which includes four stages: define, design, development, and disseminate. The data sources in this study were students of class XI and one Arabic language subject teacher. The results of this study are learning media in the form of Arabic comics that have been validated showing that: validation from material experts got a score of 100% in the "very valid" category, validation from design experts got a score of 95.2% in the "very valid" category, validation from language experts with a score of 100% in the "very valid" category. The results of the field trial showed that the trial in small groups got a score of 86% in the "effective" category, while the trial in large groups got a score of 81% in the "effective" category. The Arabic subject teacher response questionnaire obtained a score of 87.60% in the "very practical" category, the student response questionnaire in the small group trial obtained a score of 89.5% in the "very practical" category, and the student response questionnaire in the large group trial obtained a score of 81.9% in the "very practical" category.

Abstract

The Qur’an exemplifies extraordinary rhetorical excellence, particularly through its application of balaghah (Arabic rhetoric), including features such as tasybih (simile) that demonstrate its linguistic inimitability. However, traditional Islamic education often relies heavily on classical Arabic poetry to teach balaghah, which may present challenges for intermediate learners. This study aims to enhance students’ comprehension and engagement in balaghah by integrating familiar and spiritually resonant Qur’anic verses into instruction. Employing a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, the study was conducted over two cycles with Grade II Wustho students at Madrasah Diniyah Unggulan Bustanul Ulum Mlokorejo. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, interviews, document analysis, and classroom observation. Results revealed notable improvements in student achievement, with average scores increasing from 56.75 (pre-cycle) to 72.3 (Cycle I) and 77.6 (Cycle II). The percentage of students achieving basic competency rose from 40% to 80%. In addition, students exhibited deeper contextual understanding and improved ability to identify key rhetorical elements such as musyabbah, musyabbah bih, and wajh syibh. This research underscores the pedagogical value of integrating Qur’anic content in rhetoric instruction, offering a contextually relevant and spiritually meaningful strategy to enrich Arabic language education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of MAN 1 Bone's curriculum as a Madrasah Plus Skills program. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a phenomenological method, and incorporates data collection techniques that include interviews, observation, and documentation. The key informants in this study included the head of madrasah, deputy head of madrasah, vocational teachers, and vocational students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that: 1) Curriculum planning includes preparing program objectives, flexibility in teaching materials, integrating theory and practice in learning strategies, and designing holistic evaluations. 2) Curriculum Organization includes a clear division of tasks, integration of skills material in local content and special classes, and optimization of resources to support learning strategies. 3) Curriculum Implementation includes Fashion styling is taught in intracurricular and special classes with teaching modules, while welding is only through special afternoon classes with lesson plans with learning strategies, and evaluations covering student theory and practice. 4) Evaluation of the Curriculum shows tangible benefits in the mastery of vocational skills, despite challenges such as time constraints, low interest, and a lack of instructors. This study contributes practical insights for developing vocational-oriented curriculum management in Islamic educational institutions, especially madrasahs.

Abstract

AbstractArabic language learning often faces various challenges in school institutions, especially at MTS Muhammadiyah 6 Beton which is not pesantren-based, one of which is the lack of basic understanding of vocabulary. This condition causes students with low understanding to feel left behind compared to students who are already proficient. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of differentiated learning methods on mastery of Arabic vocabulary so that students' understanding increases. The research method used quantitative with experimental type involving all sevent grade students as the object of research at MTs Muhammadiyah 6 Beton Siman Ponorogo, with a population of 20 students. Data collection techniques were carried out with tests and documentation of learning outcomes, then analyzed with normality tests and t-tests. The results showed that the use of differentiated learning methods can improve the mastery of Arabic vocabulary of 7th grade students at MTs Muhammadiyah 6 Beton Siman Ponorogo, so that students are able to understand the material taught. Based on the results of the One sample t-test test, the sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.000 0.05. Thu it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that the differentiated learning method is effective in improving students' vocabulary mastery so that students' understanding and learning outcomes of Arabic language at MTs Muhammadiyah 6 Beton Siman Ponorogo increase. Keywords:Differentiated Learning, Vocabulary, Learning Outcomes, Arabic Language

Abstract

The growing use of language is a result of the rapid development of technology and social media. In the modern context, what is meant is information and communication technology. Through communication using language aims to reach an agreement and understanding. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Arabic through social media as a universal communication tool. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a library research approach. The study area includes the fields of business economics, information dissemination, and plotik diplomacy. Data collection techniques are relevant documents and journals. Data analysis by reading, marking, and summarizing. The results prove that Arabic plays an important role in the field of business economics, this is supported by the existence of giant economic projects in Arab countries, and its geographical location is very strategic and supports the creative economy in Indonesia. Arabic is also a medium for disseminating global information. This is evidenced by the Arabic website Al-Jazeera, as well as international Arabic seminars. Technological advances also provide benefits in the field of Arabic language learning. Furthermore, the role of Arabic in the field of culture, with the holding of Al-Arabiyah Lil Funnun activities is evidence of the role of Arabic in the field of culture. While in the field of diplomacy, it certainly includes relations between countries and in the political field as evidenced by the existence of political movements such as the Arab Spring.
