Abstract

Objectives: Toll roads are vital transportation infrastructure in improving connectivity between regions in Indonesia. Apart from being a means of transportation, toll roads also contribute to state revenue through non-tax state revenue (PNBP). However, there are still limitations in understanding the extent to which toll road length and traffic volume affect PNBP.Methodology: This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The data used is time series data from 2013 to 2023 which includes toll road length, traffic volume, and PNBP managed by PT Hutama Karya (Persero). The analysis was carried out using linear regression to test the relationship between these variables.Finding: The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the length of toll roads and traffic volume to PNBP. The increase in toll road length and traffic volume simultaneously contributes to the increase in PNBP. In addition, toll road construction also has a positive impact on local economic growth and economic diversification of communities around toll roads. Conclusion: Toll roads not only serve as a means of transportation, but also a significant source of state revenue. Therefore, this study recommends strategies to improve the efficiency of toll road infrastructure management to optimize PNBP revenue and encourage broader economic growth.

Abstract

The telecommunications industry has been undergoing a wave of transformation due to fundamental shifts in consumer behavior, rapid technological innovation, and increasing market competition. For PT Telkom Indonesia, these changes have posed significant challenges, particularly in the Enterprise segment, where performance has declined in recent years. Objectives: This paper analyzes the relationship between business portfolio configuration, B2B IT digital strategy, and business performance at PT Telkom Indonesia, emphasizing the intermediary role that digital innovation plays in linking strategic initiatives to performance achievements.Methodology: Employing a quantitative design, data were drawn from 136 respondents occupying managerial positions in Telkom Indonesia’s business units. The research model was tested using PLS-SEM facilitated by SmartPLS 4.0, aiming to capture both direct linkages and the mediating impact of digital innovation across variables.Finding: The analysis shows that while the structuring of the business portfolio does not significantly enhance business performance, the deployment of B2B IT digital strategy has a notable positive effect. Furthermore, digital innovation critically shapes organizational outcomes by serving as both a direct contributor and a mediator, reinforcing its strategic importance in converting planned initiatives into measurable value. Conclusion: The study reveals that innovation is fundamental to strategic success. Rather than being determined solely by the formulation of business portfolios or digital strategies, Telkom Indonesia’s performance is significantly influenced by the firm's capability to operationalize these strategies through continuous innovation. These insights reinforce the critical need for digital transformation initiatives to fully integrate innovation into strategic execution frameworks.

Abstract

Objectives: This study examines the adoption of sustainability reporting in Public Sector Organizations (PSOs), focusing on (1) stakeholder expectations, (2) implementation challenges, and (3) the impact on accountability and value creation. It also identifies existing gaps in sustainability reporting frameworks and provides strategic recommendations to enhance transparency and effectiveness in public sector sustainability disclosures.Methodology: A Structured Literature Review (SLR) was conducted on 97 articles from Scopus (1990–2024), selected using keywords such as "sustainability reporting," "public sector," "GRI framework," and "public sector organizations." Inclusion criteria ensured relevance to the public sector and methodological diversity. The articles were categorized by sustainability focus, country, research methods, and theoretical frameworks. This approach enabled the identification of research trends, key gaps, and best practices to support policy improvements in sustainability reporting.Findings: The review reveals that (1) research on sustainability reporting in PSOs is still limited and predominantly conducted in developed countries, (2) there is an increasing trend in sustainability reporting driven by demands for greater transparency and accountability, (3) major challenges include inconsistencies in reporting frameworks, varied stakeholder expectations, and difficulties integrating sustainability metrics, and (4) adoption is influenced by regulatory environments, political commitment, and resource availability. Although digital reporting tools are emerging, standardization and performance measurement issues remain unresolved. Conclusion: Despite progress, sustainability reporting in PSOs suffers from a lack of consistency, comparability, and stakeholder engagement. To improve credibility and effectiveness, harmonized standards, stronger regulatory oversight, and capacity-building initiatives are essential. Addressing these gaps will enhance accountability and foster long-term value creation in the public sector.
