Abstract

The learning process VIIIC Civics in the Junior High School 31 Banjarmasin tend not achieve the expected results . Poor condition courage students to express opinions affects the quality of learning in the classroom . Learning that takes place in a class of students who are good looks alone were active when expressed opinion, this situation results in students who are still not familiar with the material described teachers feel embarrassed to ask and express their opinions because they feel unappreciated . Lack of courage students to express opinions can be seen from the low courage students to express opinions in the group discussions . Students pay less attention to the teacher explaining and self-absorbed , only a few students were able to catch the teacher explained the material. This resulted in poor learning outcomes. The purpose of the study was : (1) To determine the activity of teachers in applying the cognitive model of moral learning in the classroom VIIIC SMP 31 Banjarmasin (2) To improve siswaq courage to express opinions on civics lesson in the application of moral cognitive model of learning in the classroom VIIIC SMP 31 Banjarmasin (3) to improve student learning outcomes in applying the model of learning in the classroom CognitiveMoral VIIIC SMP 31 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques used in action research (PTK) is the observation , documentation and test results of study conducted through several cycles , the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this study indicate (1) Teaching teachers to implement cognitive learning model of moral place smoothly . In the first cycle of learning in teacher qualifications good enough and the second cycle has increased very well with good qualifications . (2) Courage students increased expression very well with good qualifications . (3) applying the learning process can improve the cognitive model of moral courage to express opinions .

Counselor(I) Sarbaini, (II) Mariatul Kiptiah. Political real conditions is now happening just to get sheer power and political parties are still not showing good performance, This is evidenced by not channeled aspirations, unfulfilled campaign promises, many corruption and this affects public confidence at the party. This study is intended to know how big the orientation change choice and The highest reason in a choose a political party.This research used the quantitative approach and the sampling technique is simple random sampling. Data was collected by questionnaire technique, interview and documentation.The results showed that the moving party choice 39,56%, remain on the choice 20,33%, golput 3,02%, and not yet decided 37,09%. While supreme reason for the move option because not mercy (do not feel that the perceived), problem of corruption and political program. The highest reason remains that choice is the mercy and good political party program. The highest reason golput namely because dishonesty, not mercy leader and problem of corruption.Based on this study, can be suggested the need for consistency and commitment of a party and party cadres in the fight for the rights of real people. Political parties should also be careful in the selection and recruitment of party cadres in order to have a good quality. moreover, KPU must also continuously socialize election, such as how to choose a good, and the importance of voter participation. Keyword: politics, political orientation, political party

Muzada Isrianti. 2013. The Pedagogical Competence of Civic Teachers in SMA KORPRI Banjarmasin.Sarjana’s Thesis. Civic Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education,Lambung Mangkurat University Banjarmasin. The first advisor (I) Acep Supriadi, the second advisor(II) Harpani Matnuh Pedagogical competence is a basic competence for the teachers in implementing teaching process. In fact, the teachers do not fully apply pedagogical competence in teaching and learning process yet. Therefore, this research was purposed to find out the quality of pedagogical competence of civic teachers, and efforts that the teachers done to increase their pedagogical competence.The research method used was qualitative method through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources were taken by the result of interviews with the key informants and documentation to the research objects. Then they were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusion.The result of this research showed that the civic teachers in SMA KORPRI Banjarmasin had good pedagogical competence in teaching. The teachers understood their students’ characteristics, mastered learning theory and educated principal teaching and learning. They were also able to develop curriculum of civic subject, to make teaching instructional media, to conduct assessment and evaluation of teaching, and to use the result of assessment as the input for the next teaching process. However, there were some pedagogical competences that were not maximally implemented yet. Some obstacles during the implementation of pedagogical competence were the lack of teachers’ motivation in increasing the competence, the lack of teaching and learning facilities, the lack of mastering information and technology (IT) and the students’ condition. Several efforts done by the teachers to improve their pedagogical competence were following diklat (education and training) and other kinds of activities and training.Based on the results above, it can be suggested to the teachers, especially to teachers of SMA KORPRI Banjarmasin, to fully apply their pedagogical competence in conducting teaching and learning process and always to try improving their knowledge and skills to develop their pedagogical competence. Keywords: Pedagogical Competence, Teacher, Civic education

Improving Learning Activities and Learning Achievement of Students through Snowball Throwing Model on Material of Political System in Indonesia at the Students of Class X-C of SMAN 3 Banjarmasin. Sarjana’s Thesis. Civic Education Department, Social Science, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin. The first advisor: Fatimah, the second advisor: Rabiatul Adawiyah. Based on pre-research in SMAN 3 Banjarmasin at Class X-C, it was found that the students were less active in teaching and learning activities. Their learning achievements tend to reach the lower point than the expected result. This matter can be seen from the average of the daily test scores which is still below the minimum mastery learning criteria established by the teacher, namely 70. Additionally, the teachers tend to only use lecturing method. The use of the monotonous method will make the students feel bored in following the lesson. The students’ boredom can be seen when they frequently do not pay attention to the teacher’s explanation, talk to their friends during the lesson, and when they are passive in question and answer session.This research aims to improve students’ activities, students’ learning achievement, and to find out the students’ responses by using Snowball Throwing method on the material of political system in Indonesia. This research is designed and executed by using the method of classroom action research (CAR). The subject of this research is the students of Class X-C, SMAN 3 Banjarmasin, which consists of thirty-nine students. The techniques of collecting the data are by using test, observation and documentation.The result shows that the learning activities, learning achievement and responses of the students had very good improvement in each cycle. The students’ learning activities improved and are included in very good category. Besides, the students’ learning achievement also has improved after using Snowball Throwing classically 89,74% and has fulfilled the established minimum mastery learning criteria namely 70 with average 73,33.From the results which indicate the improvement on learning activities, learning achievement, and the responses of the students after implementing Snowball Throwing model, the writer suggests that Snowball Throwing model is not only implemented on civic education learning, but also on other lesson. The writer also suggests that the learning innovation should be done by teachers to improve the quality of teaching and learning process and the learning achievement itself. Keywords: Snowball Throwing Model, activities, learning achievement, response

Abstract

Pendidikan hendaknya berpedoman pada prinsip hukuman agar tidak lagi berbuat kesalahan, maka akan didapatkan dua macam titik pandang., baik berupa hasil wawancara  dan dokumen-dukomen dalam penerapan tata tertib sekolah yang disertai hukuman atau  sanksi dibutuhkan sebgai usaha dalam membuat siswa jera dan tidak mengulangi perbuatan yang melanggar peraturan yang pada akhirnya dapat dirasakan pengarunya bagi siswa dalam membentuk keperibadian yang bermoral dan berdisiplin. Metode yang  digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif yaitu untuk mengungkapkan gejala secara holistic kontekstual melalaui pengumpulan data dengan memanfaatkan teori yang ada sebagai bahan penjelasan dan berfikir dengan suatu teori, penelitian yang bermaksud untuk memehami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian misalnya prilaku, perinsip, motivasi tindakan, secara holistik dan dengan cara deskriptif dalam bentuk kata-kata dan bahasa, pada suatu konteks khusus yang alamiah dan dengan memanfaatkan berbagai metode ilmiah. Pemilihan pendekatan dan metode sangat diperlukan dalam penelitian, hal tersebut dimaksudkan agar penelitian lebih terarah dan sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi sebagai salah satu wahana pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan maupun teknologi tidak terkecuali organisasi tingkat mahasiswa (kemahasiswaan) diharapkan tidak mengalami sterilisasidalam hal tuntutan nilai-nilai moral.Nilai-nilai keluhuran budi berupa moral tersebut harus terus diasah dan ditumbuhkembangkan dalam diri setiap mahasiswa selama mereka masih menjadi anak didik di suatu lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Universitas Lambung Mangkurat melalui Fakultas maupun Program Studi telah melaksanakan kewajibannya dengan baik melalui beberapa fasilitas kemahasiswaan. Norma organisasi sebagai sebuah bentuk rambu-rambu bagi kegiatan organisasi juga telah ada dan senantiasa dikembangkan oleh pengurus organsiasi tersebut sebagai bagian maupun bentuk kreatifitas dari dalam diri mahasiswa melalui program-program organisasi yang sedang maupun akan dijalankan.

Program Studi Pendidikan pancasila Kewarganegaraan, Jurusan ilmu pendidikan Pengetahuan Sosial, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas                   Lambung Mangkurat. Pembimbing (I) Sarbaini, (II) Mariatul Kiptiah. Salah satu wujud tata kepemerintahan yang baik (good governance) itu terdapatnya citra pemerintahan yang demokratis. Prinsip demokrasi yang paling penting adalah meletakkan kekuasaan di tangan rakyat dimana pada tingkat terakhir rakyat memberikan ketentuan dalam masalah-masalah pokok mengenai kehidupannya, termasuk dalam menilai kebijaksanaan pemerintah dan negara, oleh karena kebijakan itu menentukan kehidupan rakyat.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data yang dipilih adalah secara purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan meneliti ke lapangan, observasi partisipasi lengkap, dan wawancara (interview). Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data(data reduction), penyajiana data (data display), dan penarikan kesimpulan(conclusion draving/verification).Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Implementasi tugas DPRD dalam aspek legislatif periode 2009-2014 di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu harus dimulai dengan tugas dan fungsi DPRD dalam membuat Perda, di mana DPRD mempunyai tiga fungsi yaitu : (1) fungsi legislasi, (2) fungsi anggaran, (3)fungsi pengawasan.Dari hasil temuan peneliti tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Implementasitugas DPRD dalam aspek legislatif periode 2009-2014 di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu difokuskan pada tiga aspek yaitu fungsi legislasi, fungsi anggaran dan fungsi pengawasan. Para anggota DPRD Tanah Bumbu dituntut untuk bisa bertanggung jawab dan memilik aspirasi pendapat bagi anggota DPRD lainya untuk pengimplementasian Perda Tanah Bumbu.Saran yang dapat diberikan bahwa Hendaknya pengimplementasian tugas DPRD dalam aspek legislatif periode 2009-2014 di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu harus berperan penting dalam mengapresiasikan pendapatnya dalam membuat Perda. Kata kunci : Implementasi tugas DPRD aspek legislatif

This is the place where the PAKEM strategy implementation contextual learning and the application is used. Thus, to develop learning approach through innovations PAKEM approach and application contextual learning will be done is expected to make it easier to understand and in improving childrens learning motivation so that they can improve learning. This Research qualitative research method to use this method can give a chance for researchers to learn more in-depth counseling on the phenomenon takes place. Samples taking in the course of research terms qualitative used with caution. Qualitative research In the samples taking was to gather information as possible not to do generalizations. Samples taking charge to the situation, the subject, informers and time. Technical data collection that used in this research is a technique the observation, an interview in-depth documentation and literature. The focus observation done to the three components that is the place or space, the perpetrators, and activities, instrument or is guidelines interview, a little book, camera as tool documentation. Research on the field that has been done about PAKEM approach and contextual on anticipated difficulties learning students in the schools Muhammadiyah Senior High School 2 Banjarmasin has often been implemented, the PAKEM is being implemented in the process of learning thus the activity to learn a lesson to draw, there is a students involvement in the process of learning, students will be directed to become more active and easy to understand lessons and contextual approach also are going well, and the teachers as a facilitator to be able to relate to what is being taught between matter with the situation real world. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that the application PAKEM approach and contextual on anticipated difficulties learning in the teaching Citizenship Education at the Senior High School Muhammadiyah 2 Banjaramasin has been running but must be improved, to reduce overcome the challenges or in the field but PAKEM and relevant is being implemented in the process of learning.

It is seen from the actions and behaviour of the teenagers are shown to still be in the Act of perversion.            Research objectives are to find out other forms of deviant behavior of teenagers in the village of Sungai Alang,to determine the factors that led to the teen deviant behaviour in the village of Sungai Alang, to find out the attitude of the community towards deviant behavior of teenagers.The data source is composed of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation.            The results of this research indicate  the forms of juvenile delinquency can be seen by the presence of symptoms, drinking alcohol, etc, the factors causing occurrence of juvenile delinquency  internal factors and external factors, the right attitude to cope with teenage deviant behaviour is preventive action, the repressive measures, and rehabilitative and curative actionSuggestions in this study are for adolescents to behave so as not to stray again, for the community in order to better monitor and control the actions of teenagers, for the local government as input,  for the researchers as experience, for parents to be able to be a good role model, for community leaders as a description of the behavior of teenagers of the village.
