Diya al-Afkar adalah jurnal ilmiah yang memfokuskan studi al-Quran dan al-Hadis. Jurnal ini menyajikan karangan ilmiah berupa kajian ilmu-ilmu al-Quran dan al-Hadis, penafsiran/pemahaman al-Quran dan al-Hadis, hasil penelitian baik penelitian pustaka maupun penelitian lapangan yang terkait tentang al-Quran atau al-Hadis, dan/atau tinjauan buku. Jurnal ini diterbitkan secara berkala dua kali dalam setahun.

This paper examines misogynistic hadith by using hermeneutical Hans Gadamer. The spread of misogynistic hadith in Islamic literature has had a negative impact on the existence of women in private and public areas, where the traditions are understood in textual-patrial ways that benefit men. In this region, new readings are needed to explore the meaning of humanity as Prophet Muhammad was sent for moral change. The hermeneutic theory is used to find hidden values behind the text and understanding. This study is a literature study that explores data from the literature to find a picture in reading misogynistic hadiths. So that it can be concluded that hermeneutics is used to break the gap in understanding misogynistic hadith, misogynistic hadith is the result of the Prophet's interaction with the context in his time and misogynistic hadith is still open to interpreted various approaches and theories that allow finding the moral values contained in it.

The phenomenon of religious plurality has become a social fact that must be faced by modern society. Such a phenomenon for people who are not accustomed to and do not have experience in peaceful coexistence will certainly cause their own problems, forcing experts from various disciplines to formulate a solution or approach in response to these problems. This is mainly because the main function of religion actually lies in the answer to humanitarian problems. Harmonious relations between religious people are an urgent goal to be realized. So it is very important to find a meeting point so that we can live together in peace and harmony with each other. The Qur'an has signaled to mankind about inter-religious meeting points. In the Al-Qur'an there are verses that emphasize the principle of religious pluralism.

Muhammad Syuhudi Ismail is one of the most influential hadith figures in Indonesia. His thinking in terms of understanding the hadith which is popular with the "Contextualization of hadith" is a typical hermeneutic of the traditions of Muhammad Syuhudi Ismail, because it involved the aspect of ijtihād in understanding it. The idea of understanding the hadith is classified as contextual because besides involving linguistic analysis in it, it also carries out historical analysis of hadith. Therefore the pattern of analysis of text, context, and contextualization can be seen in the understanding of this tradition of Muhammad Syuhudi Ismail. The three hermeneutic circles appear to be applied by looking at the hadith that are the object of their study.

Times development will have a tremendous influence on the condition of the country and society, as in the near future the election of leaders will soon begin at both central and regional level leaders. It turns out that the election of leaders now seems to be an extraordinary gambling event because each political party appoints one of its cadres to become the number one person in our country. The ideal leader in the advice of Islam should be able to be included in the meaning of helper, because the leader is in charge of protecting the people he leads and trying to help and save them when difficulties and disasters strike, because the leader is responsible for everything that happens and happens in his area and about the people they lead. A leader is chosen to lead his group members to realize common goals.

Speaking about hadith, it will surely arrive at the issue that not all traditions in the Qat'iy al-Wurud are partially Zanniy al-Wurud, so the hadiths need to be re-examined in its curiosity. This paper examines the prohibited hadiths of interpretation of the Qur'an with the words and the study of this material can not be separated from the study of hadith tradition. In the hadith of the prohibition interpretation of the Qur'an with the word of the hadad is hasan. While the related directives are only available to Sunan al-Turmuzi, Sunan Abu Dawud and Musnad Ahmad bin Hanbal. As for the meaning of al-Ra'y which is required in the hadith is an interpretation which is based solely on reasoning without considering the history or methods or knowledge related or not in accordance with the principles of syar'i is something very different between interpreting the Qur'an with ra'yu (bi al-Ra'y) with the interpretation of bi al-Ra'yu which in its interpretation is dominated by intellect but remains in the frame of syar`i.

This paper examines the history of qiraat, especially qiraat syāzzah. Qiraat syāzzah allegedly arose during the Caliph of Usmān along with the presence of muṣḥaf 'usmānī. However, when there is no syāzzah term itself. Newly in the time of Ibn Mujahid, the term syāzzah is well established in the qiraat discipline as opposed to qira'at sab'ah. From this, questions arise, what is the term used before the time of Ibn Mujahid? How does or how to identify qiraat syāzzah? How do the scholars respond to the term syāzzah popularized by Ibn Mujahid? Therefore, this study is significant not only to see the wealth of the opinion of the Ulama, but to indicate the existence of the continue and change in the area of qiraat syāzzah thinking. The diversity of opinions conveys the shift in the use of the term syāzzah of quantity into quality, which originates from the least reading being da'if.

Entering the post-millennial era marked by increasingly uncontrolled flow of information, the question of harmony between religious people increasingly faces strong challenges. For Indonesian Muslims, the bases of harmony have actually been contained in the Qur'an. However, they gain more understanding of the Scriptures through translated works. No fewer than 20 Al-Qur'an translation works in Indonesian and regional languages have circulated since the beginning of the twentieth century. In fact, the controversy regarding the meaning of various verses in translation is difficult to avoid and can trigger problems of religious harmony, even tending to be contrary to the discourse of moderate Islam which is characteristic of Islam in this country. This article examines some of the rich translations of the Koran in translating verses related to religious harmony as well as contributing to the translation of the Qur'an's work on the discourse of moderate Islam and religious harmony in Indonesia.

Nawir Yuslem is a scientist who wrestles with various scientific dimensions, both in Islamic law and hadith. With an educational background from the western sciences, it was also influenced by orientalist thinkers. But, planting a strong scientific tradition and Islam in the Minang community, the scientific acculturation made his thoughts on Islamic studies interesting. It can be seen from the way he combines terms in Hadith and semiotic theory as new offerings in hadith research in his book entitled "Hadith Research Methodology."

This article focuses on the study of interpretations of the meaning of happiness in the Qur'an. From the results of the author's study, it was concluded that the Qur'an uses different terms to describe happiness. The saida term with its various derivatives shows happiness in the hereafter. While the term aflaha with its various derivatives shows the process of achieving happiness in the world and the hereafter. The Qur'an also distinguishes between pleasure or pleasure (al-farh, mata ‘) with happiness (al-Falah, al-Sa‘adah). From the results of the study the author shows that the Qur'an distinguishes the meaning of pleasure from happiness. Happiness does not merely fulfill desires or desires of lust alone, but also considers two important aspects in us, namely affective (emotion) and cognitive (logic). Real happiness can be achieved if we keep abiding by the rules and moral norms that apply. Happiness (happiness, al-sa‘adah) is different from pleasure (pleasure, al-farh, al-surur).

The reality of days numbers on the Tabligh khuruj Jama'ah contains the meaning of "fasting" refrain from all the jewelry and pleasures of the world. Although in fact a khuruj leader does not force or impose punishment on members who are not strong enough during the ruling. This shows that Jama'ah Tabligh in Perumnas Cirebon belongs to a stream of peaceful, emotionally, not radical understanding. This is evidenced by the assertion that those who are fascinated only strong 10 days still get preoccupation preaching and getting the reward of khuruj.
