Abstract

 Library is one of educational institutions  component and also one of the most important learning resources, that's why, every school must have a library and organize it accordance with the national library standards and library management is needed. The title of this research was The Implementation of Library Management in State Madrasah Tsanawiyah 3 of Cirebon Regency. The purpose of this research was to find out how the implementation of Library Management in State Madrasah Tsanawiyah 3 of Cirebon Regency is. The researcher used descriptive qualitative method in this research. The data collection technique was observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The result of the research was indicated that library management has implemented a management function, namely (POAC) Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling. Although there were some things that must be addressed, such as facilities and infrastructures, human resources, library materials, operational costs and library services to be even better.Keywords: Implementation, Management, Library  Perpustakaan merupakan salah satu komponen dalam suatu lembaga pendidikan  perpustakaan juga merupakan salah satu sumber belajar yang sangat penting, untuk itu setiap sekolah harus memiliki dan menyelenggarakan perpustakaan yang sesuai dengan standar nasional perpustakaan, perlu adanya manajemen. Skripsi ini berjudul Implementasi Manajemen Perpustakaan di MTs Negeri 3 Kabupaten Cirebon. tujuan adanya penelitian ini tentu untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengelolaan Perpustakaan di MTs Negeri 3 Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan datanya yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.  Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan perpustakaan sudah menerapkan fungsi manajemen yaitu (POAC) Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling. Meskipun masih ada beberapa hal yang harus dibenahi, seperti sarana dan prasarana, sumber daya manusia, bahan pustaka, biaya operasional dan pelayanan perpustakaannya agar lebih baik lagi.Kata Kunci : Implementasi, Manajemen, Perpustakaan

Abstract

The performance of the principal can be a role modeling for the performance of the teachers. If an educational institution is managed with the prophetic leadership ability of the principal, the managerial system will be able to foster responsibility that comes from the hearts and internal motivations of teachers. This study aims to describe the Prophetic Leadership of The Principal in Improving Teacher Performance. This research uses a literature reviews approach. In searching for articles, a google scholar application is used with the keywords "Prophetic Leadership,” “Principal,” and “Teacher Performance.” Article searches are time-limited i.e. from 2016 to 2021. From the search results, 20 articles were searched based on thematic criteria, up to only 12 articles were used in this study. The results showed that the leadership of the principal in an Islamic educational institution went well and ideally according to the concept of the Qur'an and Hadith when each leader was able to practice prophetic values (shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, fathonah) with full responsibility in carrying out the wheels of education. The implementation of prophetic values in leading by a principal leader will affect the improvement of teacher performance as an effort to answer the hopes, wants, and needs of the community. In other words, there is a significant relationship between the principal's prophetic leadership and teacher performance

Abstract

The facilities and infrastructure owned by SMA 1 Sumber in Cirebon district, can be said to be quite adequate, but there are shortcomings in school conditions such as the wide environment at SMAN 1 SUMBER making facilities poorly maintained at several points, especially the Labs and Mosques at SMAN 1 Sumber . This can be minimized by means of community service for the entire community of SMAN 1 SUMBER, of course this can maintain the condition of the facilities at SMAN 1 SUMBER well maintained, so that they are not easily damaged. And also during the Covid-19 pandemic which has been running for more or less two years, conditions at some points in SMAN 1 Sumber are not well maintained, especially when students pass through the SMAN 1 SUMBER mosque, which looks very dirty with thick leaves and dust. This affects learning activities and the learning process is less effective and efficient. Management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the learning process at SMAN 1 SOURCE school includes planning, organizing, procurement and supervision. To conduct a selection of the items to be used, it means that the manager checks the items that support the learning process, to avoid unwanted mistakes. The teacher's efforts to improve the learning process of students at SMAN 1 SUMBER, the teacher's obstacle in improving the learning process of students is the limited cleaning of facilities and facilities at SMAN 1 Sumber. Supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the learning process of students at SMAN 1 Sumber, Cirebon district, as for the supporting factors, one of which is the teacher, the teacher's role is very important for the learning process, because professionalism will determine success during the teaching and learning process in the classroom. . The management of learning facilities and infrastructure plays a significant role in distributing donations optimally in the course of the learning process so that it can produce clean, neat and beautiful schools so as to produce an exciting and safe environment for both teachers and students to be in school. In addition, it is hoped that there will be tools and equipment or learning facilities that are sufficient quantitatively, qualitatively and relevant to the needs and can be utilized optimally for the benefit of the learning and education process for both teachers and students. The process of increasing at SMA N 1 Sumber, Cirebon Regency, can be seen from the number of students who enter every year.

Abstract

Industry Revolution 4.0  happening today certainly has a huge impact on the educational leadership of school leaders, of course this must be addressed wisely by policy makers in the educational environment. Principals in the 21st century must of course be equipped with professional leadership so that it has an impact on improving the quality of educators. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of literature study, data obtained through various references to national, international journals and research results that have relevance to what the author did. The results of this study indicate that the leadership of school principals in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 must of course be professional and able to read the changes that occur because of the ideal leadership, namely leadership that follows technological developments. In addition, school principals also play a role in improving the quality of educators, there are several things that must be done by school principals in improving the quality of educators, namely the use of information technology, training, mentoring and guidance, discipline development and continuous supervision.Keywords: Principal Leadership, Educator Quality, Industrial Revolution 4.0Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang terjadi saat ini tentu memiliki dampak yang sangat besar terhadap kepemimpinan pendidikan para pemimpin sekolah, tentunya hal ini harus disikapi dengan bijak oleh para pembuat kebijakan di lingkungan pendidikan. Kepala sekolah di abad ke-21 tentunya harus dibekali dengan kepemimpinan yang profesional sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan, data yang diperoleh melalui berbagai referensi jurnal nasional, internasional dan hasil penelitian yang memiliki relevansi dengan apa yang penulis lakukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 tentunya harus profesional dan mampu membaca perubahan yang terjadi karena kepemimpinan yang ideal, yaitu kepemimpinan yang mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Selain itu, Kepala Sekolah juga berperan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidik, ada beberapa hal yang harus dilakukan oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidik, yaitu penggunaan teknologi informasi, pelatihan, pendampingan dan bimbingan, pengembangan disiplin dan pengawasan terus menerus.Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah,  Mutu Pendidik, Revolusi Industri 4.0

Abstract

Abstrak: Sekolah, sebagai sebuah institusi pendidikan, diharapkan mampu membentuk karakter positif peserta didiknya. Untuk mencapai harapan tersebut, sekolah perlu menciptakan lingkungan sekolah dengan budaya sekolah yang positif. Dalam hal ini, kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam membentuk budaya sekolah. Sebagai pimpinan institusi pendidikan, kepala sekolah diharapkan mampu menjadi teladan yang memiliki keterampilan sosial serta kinerja yang mumpuni agar budaya sekolah sekolah yang positif dapat terbentuk dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh keterampilan sosial kepala sekolah terhadap budaya sekolah, ada atau tidaknya pengaruh kinerja kepala sekolah terhadap budaya sekolah, dan ada atau tidaknya pengaruh keterampilan sosial dan kinerja kepala sekolah terhadap budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain non eksperimental dan angket sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 72 orang yang berprofesi sebagai guru atau staf sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan sosial kepala sekolah secara signifikan mempengaruhi budaya sekolah. Selain itu, kinerja kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap budaya sekolah. Di sisi lain, keterampilan sosial dan kinerja kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap budaya sekolah dengan masing-masing memiliki tingkat pengaruh yang berbeda.Kata Kunci: Budaya Sekolah, Keterampilan Sosial dan Kinerja Kepala Sekolah Abstract: Schools, as an educational institution, are expected to be able to build students’ positive characters. To achieve the expectation, schools need to create a positive school culture in their environment. In this case, school leaders take an important role in creating school culture. As leaders of educational institutions, school leaders are expected to be the role models who have social skills and good performances to create positive school culture. This study is aimed to determine whether or not the influence of the school leaders’ social skills on school culture, whether or not the influence of the school leaders’ performance on school culture, and whether or not the influence of social skills and school leaders’ performance on school culture. This study used a quantitative method with non-experimental design and questionnaire as the instrument for data collection. Samples of the study were 72 people consisting of teachers and school staff. The results showed that school leaders’ social skills significantly influence school culture. In addition, school leaders’ performance has a positive influence on school culture. On the other hand, the social skills and performance of school leaders have a positive influence on school culture with each having a different level of influence.Keywords: School Culture; School Leaders’ Social Skills; School Leaders’ Performance

Abstract

Manajemen yang progresif, dinamis, responsif bisa membuka suasana baru, indah, dan penuh dengan kekeluargaan, dari setiap elemen merasa dihargai karena ditempatkan di posisi yang sesuai, serta mempunyai tanggung jawab yang besar dalam melaksanakan pekerjaannya sesuai bidangnya. Dengan pembahasan tersebut tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui capaian manajemen berbasis sekolah di MTs Negeri 4 Cirebon dalam rangka mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan bermutu tinggi. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data dari wakil kurikulum di sekolah tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi pengabsahan data. Temuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan penulis yaitu manajemen berbasis sekolah di MTs Negeri 4 Cirebon dalam penerimaan siswa menggunakan tahap seleksi dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan kelasnya. Penentuan kelas didasarkan pada hasil nilai yang didapatkan oleh peserta seleksi. Sekolah ini memiliki kewenangan yang luas atau otonomi dalam mengelola dan mengatur Sekolah. Dibuktikan dengan adanya keterbukaan Sekolah mengenai program kerjanya. Masyarakat juga berpartisipasi dalam mengelola kurikulum pembelajaran, peserta didik, keuangan, guru dan tata usaha, sarana prasarana yang ada di Sekolah serta layanan yang baik. Sekolah ini sangat terbuka karena terlihat dari beberapa kegiatan yang membutuhkan masyarakat, seperti kegiatan pembelajaran membuat batik.Kata kunci: Manajamen berbasis sekolah, manajemen, pendidikan

Abstract

This study aims to identify specifics about student planning management at SMAN 5 Cirebon City. In this study, researchers used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out in a triangulation, analytical is inductive planning management in detail and accurately according to observational data, interviews with related parties and valid written data. The results of this study show that the planning management of students at SMAN 5 Cirebon City can be categorized as quite good and in accordance with the procedures that have been set by the West Java Provincial Education Office. Management of student planning at SMAN 5 Cirebon City is also in accordance with planning steps such as analysis of student needs, student recruitment, student selection, student orientation, student placement, to recording and reporting of students organized by the student department according to standards or techinica instruction that have been given by the government.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and obtain information about the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at MTsN 2 Karawang. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. The research took place at MTsN 2 Karawang in November-December 2021. The principal, vice principal in charge of facilities and infrastructure, maintenance support staff, and students at MTsN 2 Karawang became research informants. Interviews, observations, and reporting studies were all used to collect data. After that, the data is analyzed by reducing it, presenting it, and drawing conclusions. Triangulation of sources, techniques, and hypotheses is a technique of validity. The results show that: (1) Preparation for the management of facilities and infrastructure at MTsN 2 Karawang begins with a work meeting and the preparation of an activity agenda led by the principal, then maintenance is divided into 2 categories, namely periodic maintenance and routine maintenance. Then prepare a one-year budget plan made by the school principal and the Budget Drafting Team. Furthermore, representatives from the field of facilities and infrastructure specifically choose the structure of the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, as well as their respective job desks in each division, which are known by the principal. The final step is to socialize students at school. (2) School maintenance processes and techniques begin with frequent and routine maintenance. Routine maintenance includes the maintenance of classrooms, teacher offices, and special rooms such as libraries, computer laboratories, and science laboratories. The school also performs routine maintenance on air conditioners, printers and copiers, as well as upgrades computer programs. (3) Obstacles faced by schools in preparing for repairs to facilities and infrastructure, including problems that arise unexpectedly and require immediate repair of these facilities. Abstract

Setiap madrasah yang akan meningkatkan mutu harus memiliki visi dan misi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi peningkatan mutu madrasah melalui penyusunan visi misi di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Batang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan strategi analisis isi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektifitas peningkatan mutu madrasah dapat dilihat dari strategi peningkatan mutu madrasah melalui penyusunan visi misi di MTsN Batang. Visi misi sekolah berorientasi ke masa depan, untuk jangka waktu yang lama. Setelah menganalisis SWOT pada visi dan misi di MTs Negeri Batang  dapat dilihat pada masing bobot antara  kekuatan dan kelemahan yang ada, sehingga dapat disimpulkan, bahwa antara kekuatan dan kelemahan yang dimiliki MTs Negeri Batang seimbang. Hal ini dapat dijadikan pelajaran bagi pihak sekolah, bahwa kekuatan yang ada kurang begitu dimaksimalkan untuk meminimalisasi kelemahan yang ada.

Abstract

Program sertifikasi guru telah dilakukan dengan kerjasama pemerintah dan perguruan tinggi. Sertifikasi guru sebagai upaya mengembangkan etos kerja, kompetensi, dan profesionalisme guru, untuk menciptakan budaya kerja yang sinergis, sehingga terwujud keberhasilan pendidikan, pada akhirnya berdampak pada kemajuan pendidikan nasional. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis upaya guru bersertifikat memanage budaya kerja dalam meningkatkan prestasi sekolah. Data disajikan dalam bentuk naratif menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, analisis dengan triangulasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan guru tersertifikasi dan peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul disajikan dan dijelaskan dalam bentuk naratif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa guru bersertifikat memiliki budaya kerja yang baik, seperti dalam pembelajaran mengacu pada perencanaan, menggunakan metode dan pendekatan yang variatif, aspek pengetahuan, kognitif, psikomotor, dan afektif menjadi acuan penilain. Dalam memanage budaya kerja, guru dapat berkolaborasi dengan tim guru lainnya, menjaga hubungan baik, memiliki keterampilan komunikasi, berkomitmen pada perubahan. MTs Negeri Lohbener memiliki kredibilitas unggul di Indramayu, dan menjadi rujukan orang tua, dan MTs Negeri Lohbener berprestasi pada beberapa kegiatan kompetisi. Menindaklanjuti temuan ini, optimalisasi pemerataan guru tersertifikasi pada lembaga pendidikan di pelosok negeri harus terus digaungkan, guna menciptakan budaya kerja sekolah yang bersinergis menuju pada perubahan dan kemajuan dalam bidang pendidikan.Kata Kunci: Guru, sertifikasi, budaya kerja, prestasi sekolah, manajemen. AbstractThe teacher certification program has been developed through collaboration with the government and universities. Teacher certification is an effort to develop teachers' work ethic, competence, and professionalism as well as to create a synergistic work culture in order to achieve educational success and, essentially, to influence national education progress. The study's purpose would be to describe and analyze certified teachers' efforts to manage work culture in order to improve school achievement. The data is presented in narrative form using descriptive qualitative methods and triangulation analysis. This research project included both certified teachers and students. Observation, interviews, and documentation have been used to collect data. The information collected is presented and explained in narrative form. The results of this analysis revealed that certified teachers have a positive work culture in areas such as learning, which refers to planning, using various methods and approaches, and aspects of knowledge, cognitive, psychomotor, and affective that serve as a reference for assessment. Certified teachers can collaborate with other teacher teams, maintain good relationships, have good communication skills, and are committed to change whenever it comes to managing work culture. MTs Negeri Lohbener has excellent credibility in Indramayu, would be a reference for parents, and succeed in a variety of competitive activities. Following up on these findings, the optimization of certified teacher distribution in educational institutions in remote parts of the country must be repeated in order to create a school work culture that is synergistic toward change and progress in the field of education.Keywords: Teacher, certification, work culture, school achievement, management.
