Abstract

Abstract: The Implementation of Problem Solving Learning (PSL) Methods Using Concrete Media in Improving Mathematics Learning for the 5th Grade Students of SDN 3 Panjer In The Academic Year of 2014/2015. The objectives of this study are to (1) describe the steps of the implementation of Problem Solving Learning (PSL) Methods using concrete media; (2) improving Mathematics learning about properties two-dimensional shape; (3) to describe problems and solutions in the implementation of Problem Solving Learning (PSL) Methods using concrete media. This study is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Subjects in this study were all students of 5th grade in SDN 3 Panjer in the academic year of 2014/2015, totaling 24 students. The conclusion of this study are the implementation of Problem Solving Learning Methods using concrete media can be improve Mathematics learning for the 5th grade students of SDN 3 Panjer. Keyword: Problem Solving Learning (PSL), concrete media, mathematics Abstrak: Penerapan Metode Problem Solving Learning (PSL) dengan media benda konkret dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Matematika Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 3 Panjer Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikam langkah-langkah penerapan metode Problem Solving Learning (PSL) dengan media konkret, meningkatkan pembelajaran Matematika tentang sifat-sifat bangun datar, dan mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi penerapan metode Problem Solving Learning (PSL) dengan media konkret. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaborasi yang dilakukan selama 3 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 3 Panjer berjumlah 24 siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Problem Solving Learning (PSL) dengan media konkret dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran Matematika siswa kelas V SDN 3 Panjer.
