Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the development of creative industries and the management of quality human resources in Pematang Serai Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency in order to achieve sustainable economic growth. The specific objective of this study is to examine how the community, as human resources, can have a great deal of creativity and innovation in developing village potential, thereby contributing to the community's economy. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to evaluate the data. This study will employ a quantitative method related to data that characterizes the people of Pematang Serai Village, particularly household industry players involved in income growth. The study's findings indicate that the Creative Industry and Human Resource Management variables have a positive and statistically significant influence on the achievement of sustainable economic development. Abstract

Kota Pari Village, PantaiCermin District, SerdangBedagai Regency, was the focus of this research because its residents saw a need to promote its tourist attractions online. The term "digital marketing" refers to the usage of digital tools by the majority of an organization's marketing team. To increase marketing and reach target markets via digital marketing, the tourism administrators in Kota Pari Village are the primary focus of this research. To do this, they will need to make use of information dissemination tools and online sales promotion, such as social media and websites, which are accessible to people all over the world. MaterialtobesubmittedtotheresearchThis is a digital marketing approach for the tourism industry to ensure a high volume of customers. In Kota Pari Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, the findings indicated that both strategy (X1) and digital marketing (X2) had a favorable and significant influence on increasing visits to tourism areas. With the results of this study, businesses and tourists in Kota Pari Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency can adapt to the changing times and provide for the needs of those who come to visit.

Kegiatan kepada Masyarakat dengan judul “Pemanfaatan Limbah Minyak Jelantah Menjadi Sabun Berbasis Ecogreen Dalam Meningkatkan Pendapatan Rumah Tangga di Desa Klambir Lima Kebun, Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang” berguna untuk memberikan pengetahuan melatih membuat sabun Ecogreen dari minyak jelantah tersebut kepada masyarakat di Desa Klambir Lima Kebun Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang khususnya Ibu rumah tangga agar menambah pendapatan. Abstract

As technology advances, people’s preferences for shopping in digital formats will change. Cashless payment systems such as GoPay, OVO, and ShopeePay are increasingly popular among consumers, so Bank Indonesia has issued a new policy to encourage their use. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the influence of digital-based consumer behavior. This study uses primary data with a sample of application users with GoPay, OVO and ShopeePay respondents in Medan. The data processing method used in this research is using the method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Using SEM can help researchers to assess the nature of measurements and test theoretical relationships (1). The results of this study indicate that there are six hypotheses that have positive results, namely innovativeness, optimism about perceived usefulness. Innovativeness and optimism have a positive effect on perceived ease of use. The results of this study also show that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a positive influence on behavioral intention. While there are four variables in this study rejected, namely insecurity and discomfort have no effect on perceived usefulness. Likewise, insecurity and discomfort have no effect on perceived ease of use.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the important economic sectors that play a role in the Indonesian economy. However, MSMEs still face various challenges, one of which is increasingly fierce competition with imported products. Therefore, MSMEs need to improve their competitiveness in order to survive and develop. This study aims to analyze the role of business legality, halal labeling, and promotion in increasing the competitiveness of MSME products in Kwala Serapuh Village, Langkat. This research uses a survey method with 50 respondents, namely MSME actors in Kwala Serapuh Village. The results showed that business legality, halal labeling, and promotion have a significant role in increasing the competitiveness of MSME products in Kwala Serapuh Village. Business legality can increase consumer confidence in MSME products, thereby increasing their competitiveness. Halal labeling can improve the image of MSME products in the eyes of consumers, thereby increasing their competitiveness. Promotion can increase consumer awareness of MSME products, thereby increasing their competitiveness. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that MSMEs in Kwala Serapuh Village can improve the legality of their business, obtain halal labeling, and actively promote to increase the competitiveness of their products.

Abstract

In the welding process, the swing of the electrode is very influential on the mechanical properties of the weld. The purpose of this study was to determine the hardness value in the HAZ area of ​​AISI 1045 steel due to differences in SMAW welding electrode swing. The method in this study uses experimental research methods, namely describing comparisons of treated specimens using the help of the Microsoft Excel application. The material used in this study was AISI 1045 medium carbon steel which was welded using SMAW welding with variations of zig-zag, circular and C swing electrodes with 1G position. The results of this study prove that the electrode swing has a significant effect on the hardness value. It can be seen that the test material with a circular swing pattern has a higher value than the zigzag and C swing patterns. This is shown by testing the hardness test in the HAZ area where the circular swing pattern gets average. -the highest average hardness value is 23.47 HRC. Meanwhile, the lowest average hardness value is in the C swing pattern of 20.46 HRC. Electrode swing has an influence on the hardness value. The circular swing pattern has a higher value than the zigzag and C swing patterns.

Abstract

The sprocket gears is one part of motorcycle that functions as a power transfer transmission. The service of gears can be influenced by several aspect, one of which is the hardness of sprocket gears. The hardness of the sprocket gear material can be increased by various mathod, one of which is heat treatment. This study used an experimental method with the aim of knowing the effect of bio diesel as the main cooling medium on increasing the hardness of non-original sprocket gears. The research process included carburizing and hardening processes on 2 non-original brands at temperature of 910°C and then cooled using bio diesel and water cooling media with a holding time of 30 minute and 60 minutes. The results showed that the heat treatment process could increase the hardness of brand A with a normal hardness of 104 HB resulting in the highest value in the parameter holding time of 60 minute and water cooling medium with a hardness value of 111,6 HB and brand B of normal hardness with a value of 110,8 HB producing the highest value is the holding time parameter of 60 minutes and water cooling medium with a hardness value of 115,9 HB. Based on the result obtained, water cooling medium is higher than bio diesel cooling medium.

Abstract

Utilization of fly ash (fly ash) as an additive in the formation of lightweight bricks has a positive impact from an environmental point of view. Fly ash is a very fine residue from burning coal. The fineness of fly ash grains can potentially cause air pollution. Handling of fly ash (fly ash) at this time is still limited to stockpiling on vacant land. The addition of fly ash to the lightweight brick mixture can be a good mineral additive for lightweight bricks because the fly ash contains silica, which is binding. In this study, we will identify the benefits of fly ash (fly ash) as a partial replacement material for the use of cement in lightweight bricks. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding fly ash as a partial replacement for cement on the density and compressive strength of lightweight bricks. Variations in the percentage of fly ash used are 15%, 25%, and 35%. This study used six beam-shaped test samples, with each sample being replicated three times with a mold size of 100 mm x 50 mm x 50 mm. From this study, it was found that the best density value was when using 25% fly ash, which was 1482.4 kg/m3 with the highest compressive strength value of 17.7 MPa. It can be concluded that the percentage of fly ash used affects the density of lightweight bricks. The use of 25% fly ash on lightweight bricks produces lightweight bricks with maximum compressive strength.

Abstract

Nipa plant is a plant that can be found in water areas such as in swamps. Quite a lot that can be utilized from this swamp plant. Utilization of the nipa plant can be sourced from its fruit, midrib, and leaf bones [1]. In addition to the uses previously described, the nipa plant in its midrib has fiber which has been extensively researched on this fiber. Nipa midribs which have fibers can be used as reinforcement for fiber composites. This study aims to determine the effect of arrangement and volume fraction of fibers that have been determined, as well as knowing whether the use of nipa midrib fiber as a composite reinforcement material can or cannot achieve the tensile strength value of the high impact ABS plastic material on the car dashboards. The research method in this study uses factorial design with manual composite printing. The results of this study were that the highest value of the tensile strength of the nipa midrib fiber composite was found in the vertical arrangement direction with a volume fraction 15%, namely 26.43 MPa, while the lowest value is found in the direction of horizontal arrangement with a volume fraction of 15%, namely 14.07 MPa. So that the value of the nipa midrib fiber composite in the vertical arrangement direction with a volume fraction of 15% achieves the tensile strength value of the high impact ABS plastic material on the car dashboards, namely 20 – 40 MPa.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry now demands machining processes that are not only precise but also highly efficient. Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines such as CNC milling have emerged as the answer to these challenges by enabling high-precision mass production. The State Polytechnic of Manufacturing in Bangka Belitung has an aging CNC Milling Machine Lagun MC-750, which has been in use since the establishment of the campus several years ago. The research is focused on metrological testing of circular motion on the CNC Milling machine in the Mechanical Workshop of Polmanbabel. The analytical method involves experimental studies encompassing machining processes, data collection of the results, and data analysis. The machining process is carried out using the CNC Milling Machine Lagun MC-750 with specific parameters such as cutting depth, cutting speed, and feed motion. The test specimens are made of S45C steel with dimensions Ø31.6 x 50 mm. The analysis of 12 specimens revealed a value of 146 μm for clockwise feed motion (G02) and 174 μm for counterclockwise feed motion (G03) for the other 12 specimens. These results fall within the tolerance grade IT 10. This indicates that the machine is suitable for processing workpieces within standard tolerances, as IT 10 is commonly used in general machining for interchangeable parts that can also be classified as highly precise work.
