Abstract

This research examines the role of sharia compliance and label in enhancing public trust in sharia cooperatives in Tasikmalaya, with Good Cooperative Governance (GCG) acting as a mediating factor. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected through surveys distributed to cooperative members and analyzed using regression analysis of mediating variables (product of coefficient method). The findings reveal that sharia compliance and sharia label alone is insufficient to build trust; rather, strong governance mechanisms play a crucial role in reinforcing public trust. The mediation analysis confirms that GCG significantly strengthens the relationship between sharia compliance and trust and also between sharia label and trust, highlighting the need for cooperative managers to integrate governance best practices with Islamic financial principles. The study contributes to the literature on Islamic microfinance by demonstrating the critical function of governance in trust-building and offers practical recommendations for cooperative leaders to enhance sustainability. Future research should explore qualitative insights into member perceptions and expand the study to other regions to improve generalizability.

Abstract

In the midst of this pandemic, the immune system is very crucial. Therefore, one way to maintain immunity is to consume drinks that are clinically proven to maintain it. It is recommended by Medical Daily to consume drinks that contain important nutrients such as protein, vitamin A, and vitamin C, including ginger, turmeric and lemongrass. These plants are easy to find in the Gunung Tanjung area, so the raw material for this traditional drink is available and can be developed as a business venture in exploiting the potential of the village. Based on these findings, we conducted Training on Making Traditional Drinks in the Context of Increasing Immune in the Face of COVID 19 in Tanjungsari Village, Gunung Tanjung District, Tasikmalaya Regency to provide knowledge to the community on how to prevent COVID 19 and make business opportunities in the traditional beverage business. This traditional beverage training was held on November 14, 2020 at the PGRI Dusun Lengkong cooperative hall and November 15, 2020 at the Dusun Leuwidahu madrasah hall, each attended by 30 people. Before and after the training activities, pre-test and post-test were carried out to find out the level of public knowledge about COVID 19 and about the efficacy of traditional drinks in increasing body immunity. Abstract

Background. This study examines Netflix’s crisis leadership by integrating crisis leadership theory, dynamic capabilities, and Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) across four major crises (2000, 2011, 2020, 2022). Methods. A qualitative single-case critical review design is employed. Data include SEC filings, shareholder letters, earnings calls, Investor Relations materials, and relevant international business journalism. Result. Analysis combines heuristic tracing of crisis trajectories with directed qualitative content analysis (Schreier’s coding frame) to reconstruct 14 crisis decisions and assess propositions P1–P4. Findings indicate: the 2000 financial crisis triggered a subscription pivot and a “simplicity–accessibility” identity anchor that aligned early responses under time pressure (P1); the 2011 Qwikster backlash was contained through rapid rollback, public apology, and reunified customer experience, restoring the service’s value frame (P2); the 2020 pandemic disruption was addressed via global–local resource orchestration, release rescheduling, and remote post-production/localization to sustain content supply continuity (P3); and the 2022 subscriber decline prompted monetization reset (AVOD, paid sharing), phased market roll-out, and a shift in performance metrics legitimized through fairness–access–transparency framing (P4). Conclusion. The study’s main contribution is the CDB framework, conceptualizing high-velocity, centrally orchestrated crisis decision bundles that coordinate cross-domain actions and legitimacy framing, turning crises into catalysts of digital platform business-model transformation.
