Abstract

The Bogor City as tourism destination applies the Smart City concept to its city planning, with the aim that the Bogor City can overcome various urban problems in order to realize sustainable development goals in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals. Processing and managing information and knowledge using the Knowledge Management concept in Smart City can help organizations to be more prepared and organized to face a level of competition with their competitors and create new innovations for the products or services they have. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, using a Google Form questionnaire, literature study and observation. This research aims to examine Knowledge Management or the management of tourism information and knowledge in the Bogor Smart City, as well as identifying what the challenges are and the community's experiences in participating in Knowledge Management of the Bogor Smart City.

Abstract

The tourism sector is very sensitive to climate change. Especially for the tourism sector in Indonesia which relies heavily on natural resources and biodiversity, both in the waters or sea and mountains. The impact of climate change on the tourism sector can be immediately seen. Based on the background description above, this article will elaborate an overview of the influence of climate change and the potential impact on coral reef bleaching and its consequences on the tourism sector that may occur in Indonesia. This study aims to obtain the general portrait regarding the coral reef which may be affected by the climate change and the adaptation effort for oceanique tourism in Indonesia. The study uses a qualitative approach using library search. Supporting data and information were obtained from various literature in the form of books, reports, journals, magazines and relevant internet sites. Data is presented in the form of a narrative description and analyzed descriptively in accordance with the research objectives. The adaptation effort are (1) Maintain the health of the underwater ecosystem, (2) Involving Tourists in Bleaching Issues, (3) Diversify the tourism industry, (4) Reducing the Impact of Tourism Activities in General, (5) Encourage tourists to contribute funds to recovery and management efforts, (6) Disseminate Information to the Public Through Education and Other Propaganda. Meanwhile, for institutional capacity, adaptations can be made as follows: (1) Institutional Strengthening, (2) Community-Based and Collaborative Management, (3) Public Awareness, Education and Extensification.

Abstract

Mangrove Learning Center (MLC) Baluno is one of the tourist destinations in the mangrove area that can be developed with the ecotourism concept. This study aims to calculate the potential value of the supply and the feasibility index of mangrove ecotourism development in the MLC Baluno area. The method was qualitative research. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation studies and literature reviews. Data analysis used a modification of the Operational Area Analysis Development Criteria approach - Natural Tourism Attraction Objects (ADO-ODTWA) of PHKA (Forest Protection and Nature Conservation); and Ecotourism Development Criteria of Damanik and Weber’s method. The results of the study showed that the MLC Baluno area has a potential supply value of 2,590 (moderate classification) and is included in the category of being feasible to be developed as an ecotourism area based on the identified feasibility index of 73.89%.
