Abstract

Indonesia is known as an agricultural country that has diverse natural resource potential. However, Indonesia is facing a serious problem in terms of food which is the basic need of everyone. Food problems can be in the form of excess food, food shortages, household inability to meet food needs, and emergencies. One of the problems faced by Indonesia is food insecurity or food shortages which are closely related to poverty. One of the development focuses at the moment is directed at addressing the problems of food insecurity and poverty by improving food security. The Food Barn Business Development activity is one of the government's efforts to maintain price stability both at the farmer/producer level and at the consumer level. Through this activity, the Food Barn Group is empowered to be able to carry out its function as a distribution institution in a more efficient distribution chain to reduce price disparities between producers and consumers and indirectly play a role in overcoming plummeting prices during the harvest period and high prices during famine and become an instrument made by the government to withstand price fluctuations in certain situations. Based on the research that has been carried out, the strategies that should be carried out for the Development of a Food Barn Business in South Ogan Komering Ulu District.

Abstract

Coffee productivity experiences fluctuations where production from year to year always fluctuates but judging from the development of the business world which is increasing, especially in agriculture with coffee producing centers. Natural coffee cultivation activities certainly require maintenance costs which are not a few things this also cannot meet from one's capital alone and requires additional capital from other parties. In doing this business, not all farmers have sufficient capital to run their business, so the community needs additional capital to increase their business. One of the financial institutions that provide loans is bandages through the KUR guarantee program, which is 80 percent of which is indeed allocated to the agricultural sector. Meanwhile, in South OKU District itself, almost all coffee farmers are banking customers who get KUR credit facilities from several banks in Muara Dua OKU Selatan. During the pandemic, it can be said that it has not experienced the problem of bad debts which is so meaningful. So this attracted researchers to further examine the factors that affect the return of KUR by farmers in coffee farming in Runjung Agung District, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan District. The focus of this study will be to review more deeply what factors affect the repayment of KUR on coffee farming in Runjung Agung District, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan District (ownership status, income from coffee farming, land area, coffee farming costs, number of family dependents, loan amount, and credit repayment period)

Abstract

Freshwater aquaculture is one of the businesses that have promising prospects. From an economic point of view, this business provides promising benefits. With good processing, freshwater fishery commodities become superior. This research aimed to identify and analyze the potential for developing freshwater aquaculture in Ogan Komering Ulu District and finding strategies to establish the potential for developing freshwater aquaculture businesses in Ogan Komering Ulu District. The method in this study used the survey method. The data collection method is an exploratory qualitative data collection method. The data analysis technique used is allocation Quotient (LQ) analysis, Shift-Share analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results of the study found that the freshwater aquaculture business in Ogan Komering Ulu District can be developed using strengths using existing opportunities and this is a very good situation where Ogan Komering Ulu District has freshwater aquaculture business by taking advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy that can be used is the SO Strategy, namely (Strength and Opportunities), which is a strategy that optimizes strengths to take advantage of opportunities (opportunities), namely optimizing land by utilizing the Ogan river as cages/fish ponds, increasing the role of the government in supporting the marketing of products. freshwater fish production at OKU and increased production to meet market demand.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of female farmers on family income in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The method used in this study is the survey method. The sampling method in this study was carried out in proportion randomly with a sample of 180 female farmers. The results obtained explained that the outpouring of women's work time <0.40 Perso with the number of respondents as many as 28 people (15.56%), 0.41-0.50 HOK (labor working day) as many as 38 people (21.11%), 0.61-0.70 HOK as many as 88 people (48.89%) and 0.71-0.80 HOK as many as 26 people (14.44%). Based on the outpouring of women's working time in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency is 0.61-0.70 HOK with a total of 88 respondents (48.89%). The contribution of women farmers to family income in Semidang Aji District is 25.94%. The contribution of women farmers to family income in Sosoh Buay Rayap District was 25.67% and the contribution of female farmers to family income in Lubuk Raja District was 26.62%. Then the contribution of women farmers to family income is the highest contribution of women's income in Lubuk Raja District at 26.62%. The contribution of women farming vegetable crops to family income in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency was 26.08%. this shows that more than a quarter of the income of peasant families comes from female farmers. So women farmers contribute quite a lot to the total income of the farmer's family. The income is used to meet the needs of the family such as daily food expenses, school fees for children, and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the intensification of rainfed lowland rice on rainfed lowland rice production in Martapura Sub-District, East OKU Regency. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. The data analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the rainfed lowland rice intensification program in Martapura Sub-District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency affected lowland rice production both partially and simultaneously. Variables use of high-yielding seeds (X1), use of dolomite (X2), use of urea fertilizer (X3), use of NPK fertilizer (X4), use of liquid organic fertilizer (X5), use of pesticides (X6) and labor (X7) have a positive effect and significant effect on lowland rice production in Martapura District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The variable that has the most influence on lowland rice production in Martapura Sub-District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, is the use of superior seeds with a standard value of the partial regression coefficient (beta coefficient) of 3.099.

Abstract

This study aims to examine internal and external elements in the development of Culinary MSMEs in Baturaja City, OKU Regency, to define the Culinary MSMEs' development plan to improve economic growth in Baturaja City, OKU Regency. This study employed the survey method of research. A SWOT analysis was utilized to analyze the data in this investigation. The study's findings reveal various internal and external aspects. Internal factors include strength, consumer service, promotional media, raw material availability, and labor. Weaknesses include a lack of ability to innovate products, a scarcity of development money, difficulties obtaining raw materials, and technological limits in manufacturing. In the meanwhile, external forces present opportunities: the consumer. According to the findings of the study, the development strategies used to develop culinary MSMEs in Baturaja City, OKU Regency are the SO Strategy (difference and development of quality-oriented products and the development of marketing or promotional strategies), the WO Strategy (development of more varied product designs and the development of production processes with the revitalization of more modern machines and equipment), and ST Strategy (a highly competitive product development with a characteristic load local, Credit policy with cheaper interest and simpler process and improvement of the quality of physical infrastructure as well), WT Strategy (Development of promotion to the market with more sophisticated media and Increased role of external institutions, associations of large entrepreneurs in the development of MSME businesses)

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of work involvement and job training on employee performance at the Tourism and Culture Office of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression. The population used is all civil servants at the Office of Tourism and Culture of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency totaling 32 people. The results showed that partially each independent variable of work involvement and job training and training had a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, the variables of work involvement and job training together have a significant effect on employee performance at the Office of Tourism and Culture of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. the influence of work involvement variables (X1) and job training (X2) on the ups and downs of employee performance at the OKU Regency Tourism and Culture Office is 76.6% while the remaining 23.4% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.Keywords: Employee Performance, Job Engagement, Job TrainingAbstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterlibatan kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Populasi yang di gunakan adalah seluruh pegawai negeri sipil pada kantor Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu yang berjumlah 32 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara parsial masing-masing variabel bebas keterlibatan kerja dan pelatihandan pelatihan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Secara simultan variabel ketelibatan kerja dan pelatihan kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu. pengaruh variabel keterlibatan kerja (X1) dan  pelatihan kerja (X2)  terhadap naik turunnya kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten OKUsebesar 76,6% sedangkan sisanya 23,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukan dalam penelitian ini.Kata Kunci: Keterlibatan Kerja, Pelatihan Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai

Abstract

This research will be conducted at the Food Security Service of OKU Regency. The sampling method in this study uses the Census technique. The census method is one of the data collection techniques in research that is carried out by taking the entire population or members of a population as a sample. In this method, each individual in the population is studied and observed thoroughly. So that from the existing population that is used as a sample / respondent based on the criteria is 40 employee respondents at the Food Security Service in OKU Regency. This data processing method aims to answer the problem formulation. To answer the problem formulation used Multiple linear regression test. The results of the study showed. HR development (X1), motivation (X2), and work discipline (X3) together have a significant effect on employee performance (Y) providing a simultaneous or joint effect of 85.3% on employee performance (Y). While the remaining 14.7% is influenced by other factors not observed in the study.

Abstract

Leadership is a consistent pattern of behavior used by a leader to influence their subordinates or team members, as well as the additional influence that exceeds and goes beyond the mechanical needs in routinely directing the organization. Discipline is the management action to encourage its members to comply with existing regulations in the company, such as working hours, dress code, use of equipment, office supplies, and so on. This research will be intentionally conducted (Purposive) at the Communication and Information Office of OKU Regency. The sampling method used in this study is the census method, where the number of employees at the Communication and Information Office in OKU Regency is a total of 41 civil servants. The data processing method will involve a series of steps to manage, analyze, and interpret the collected data, using linear regression analysis. Based on the analysis and discussion presented earlier, it can be concluded that the variable of leadership role (X1) and work discipline (X2) have an effect on Employee Performance (Y) at the Communication and Informatics Office of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. It is also known that simultaneously, the variables of leadership role (X1) and work discipline (X2) influence Employee Performance (Y) at the Communication and Informatics Office of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency.
